I have never jumped in the tunnel in Vegas but, once went to visit and it didn't really seem like true freefall to me. The people had to wear big bagy suits and the instructor was just standing on the fan. Just didn't seem like the true 120 mph you would see in freefall. BUT - You do hear the stories of people coming to AFF with tunnel time and just being awesome in AFF. Dunno? Seb

I was sitting with a bunch of jumpers during the day couple weeks ago and this guy says "man that guy is queer" and everyone kinda looked funny and him and said "what?" he said "I said, Man the sky is clear" Kinda funny at the time

In reply too: **It is my understanding that Strong and Vector only allow their own canopies in their systems** Not true! You will see several DZ's putting Icarus mains into thier Vector rigs. It used to be that you couldn't for some reason. I'm not sure about Strong. We got Eclipse and Vectors mostly Icarus 330's and 365's. Seb -

Lisa, I am a experienced jumper, with a bit of a conservative streak in me. I way almost 225 lbs fully geared. I am looking at the PD reserve 143 or 160. On the PD chart that Tee sent it indicates that these two canopies have the same max loading? I jump a stilleto 135 as my main (and will continue to do so) Isn't there a point when you order a main container that the differences between main and reserve size need to be proportional? The diff. between a 135 and 160 for instance, is it doable for container maker? I never bought new gear so I never educated myself on these things. Thanks for your help! Maybe I'll order through Square One. Seb

Alright kiddos, yet again one more time. At Skydive Monterey Bay February 2nd and 3rd we will be doing a $15.00 to 15,000 feet thingy again. Come one come all. Fast climbin otter and I happen to know that 15,000 sometimes turns to 16,000. Fact! Seb I am so thirsty for some air and some brew............

Oh man is change a pain sometimes, though I am in agreement with a proficiency card instead of just a test. Can anyone tell me the difference between the two page proficiency card and the four page card? Which one is the proper one? The four page one is really hard to figure out and I have not even seen the two page one except for when I went to USPA web site just now. I will do the research myself, but it's nice to cheat if possible. Seb AFF-I-02 (Sucks I don't undersand this and yes I have sat with the new SIM and A proficiency card)

My regular friends have slowly drifted away. I remember trying to talk them into skydiving over and over but I realized they were never going to come out so I gave up. They've given up on me doing anything else on the weekends. I remember one year being on a four way collegiate team getting ready a couple of months before the competition we spent a lot of time together. At pizza places or bars around town we'd jam up in the door or whatever available, do a count, exit and start dirt diving. We got lot's of funny looks from people. Sebazz I am obsessed with skydiving and I am just going to go with it.
