Well said Lisa, I learned more about Tandem/AFF from the oldest instructor out at the DZ. Example if you were going out for the track and field squad and you wanted to be a Javelin catcher. You'd want to learn from the oldest guy ou tthere...

I don't think it's harde to do shorter thick women, I think it is a comfort thing. The harnesses don't fit and the openings suck for them, and the landings............ We have a theme park here in San Jose and some of the roller coaster rides they signs that read "People of some proporsions may not be able to participate" Wish we had one in front of manifest. Lisa , I love the expression on a students face when he sees he's about to jump with a woman. It's called the look of fear Lisa is right size is not an issue as long as you limit yourself to what your capabilities are......... My biggest tandem ever was a guy that weiged 305. Only went to 7,000' and pulled 5 seconds out the door so we never got to terminal. Got a buck for every lb. he was over 200. $135 skydive..........

Nice pick! If only full time skydiving positions offered health, dental, retirement............but they don't...... So you gotta work and live just for the weekends.......... I'm only 5'10'' kinda stocky. I wear a baggy Jumpsuit for more drag so I don't have very many probs with bigger students. You just gotta train em better make sure they arch well.
