Muenkel buddy I am sure you have had curvballs thrown at you through out life. It is just a curvball. It may sound corny but the whole "you can do whatever you want if you put your mind to it" is true. I recently went through AFF with a gentleman who was in his mid sixties. It took a looooooong time. Almost 30 jumps to get off student status. And I was the one saying this guy is not meant to be a skydiver. But I kept my mouth shut and he prooved all of us wrong!! Between windy days rainy days and repeat jumps this guy stcuk it out. Have faith Muenkel!! Try to fix up that arm and get back at it. If life were that easy it would be boring. The decision to do it this summer in Mass or wait till Florida in Nov? Tough call but only you know. I wish you the best of luck getting back into the sky. Stick to it!! I swear in the long run you will be gratefull ............. I preach patience to students all the time and they all come back thanking me. Be patient..........

When I was younger I fully believed in ghosts. Growing up in a very very rural part of New Hampshire from 3rd grade till 9th grade in a 200 year old house. Lets just say I thought in my own head that I saw and heard shit all the time. Especially out in the woods. Man did that basement scare the crap out of me too. Out here in the west I do not think there are any ghosts. Things are too new, not enough history or something like that. I don't get that dark eerie feeling from the forests and old towns out here like I get from the north east. It has been a while since I have heard or seen a ghost so I don't really know if they exist anymore. Probably just a part of my childhood imagination.............. Sebazz........

Zennie i have to agree with you. Empire Strikes back was definately the best of all the Star Wars I have seen. Ewoks do suck. A little furry 3 foot tall Ewok with sticks a stones whoppin up on some bad ass storm troopers? Whatever. The last one with the Jaba daba Jabar somethin or other. Pretty silly too. I do look forward to seeing it for novelty purposes but i usually wait after it has been out for a couple of weeks so i do not have to battle the crowds. From the reports in the papers and other Star Wars die hards the effects in this flic are blurry and will probably not be as impressive as the hype. Princess Laya (SP?) is a hotty though. Any new hotties in this one? Sebazz........

Yeah actually that's a good question Chromey but it all comes down to individual jumpmaster preferences. I myself wear a leather frap hat with clear goggles. I like the fact that I can talk/yell at my students and that I can make good solid eye contact with them and they can see my facial expresions (No matter what is going on in freefall I am usually ear to ear grinning). Some JM's use full face masks and some wear frap hats. I am always aware of my head in good and bad situations and avoid getting kicked. For the canopy stuff I just jump what i like to jump. Doing tandems most of the time I fiend for AFF or fun jumps so I can jump my own gear. I can talk to my students under canopy before I even land so getting down quick is not an issue. ~Blue Skies~ Sebazz........

I remember in 1989 when we had that 6.9 something or other quake. It was right after soccer practice and I was waiting for my mom to pick me up. One of those epic perfect temperature indian summer days. No breaze. I was looking westward towards the santa Cruz mountains and I noticed the mountains moving up and down and the ground in front of me moving up and down. They were not in sync. Trees were bowing back and forth and you could hear the trunks creaking as if they were going to snap. I was not scared. But the fealing was eerie. Makes you feel so insignifigant when you see and feel the earth that appears to be the most stable thing you've known in your live start rippling like waves. In third grade I remember being in Science class and we all went to duck n cover under our desk but the aquarium fell off the table and smashed all over the floor. Me and 15 other kids pretty much said F~ this and bolted out the door into the courtyards. I remember feeling safer outside. I am not the scientist type but if a quake the magnitude of 8 or bigger hits us............well lets just say we're fucked Especially since most of the Bay Area is below or at sea level. Plus my rig is inside my house right now. I don't want my rigs buried under rubble. They're like the most important thing in my life. So a little rattle n roll is ok.......just a little please.
