Thank you right back!! I enjoy your posts and they help through my "non-jumping" days. I feel I know you in a wierd way because Greg Nardi owner of SSC was the DZO at my first DZ and was one of my Level 1 AFF-I's. I was stoaked that you would be jumping at his new DZ. Best of luck to you!......... As someone else mentioned in that thread you posted "you are a skydiver!" And you'll be back in the sky in no time. I jump gear that is packed by another person almost all the time. I always compliment them on the openings regardless if they are bad or good. Call me a liar I don't care, just as long as I don't have to pack. I tip my packers always. So if I get a snivel snivel wack! several line twists with a steering line over the right end cell. I still thank them for the beautiful opening

You should get a box of disposable mains. You just chop it when you land and hook up a new one before the next load. They are biodegradable / environmentaly safe. Slacker!! Congrats on the License......... Sebazz........

Actually I was referring to Steve who has been jumpin for god knows how long. Yup Steve Rafferty who happens to be out there some where on the right coast right now. I think Maryland? Maybe the name "Raff" is synonymous with shit hot customer service skills and loves jumping no matter what? Sebazz........

Congrats on your thousandth. I am a bit surprised though that someone with your experience would actually believe that there is such thing as "Beer Exemption." You can't be serious. Every time you jump at a new DZ for instance you will owe beer. And that is only one example. So to appease the beer gods and sky gods go fix your beer karma quick and go buy beer.............. Sheesh..........some people.........

I have only done one tandem as a passenger when I was getting my tandem rating. The JM I went with was very experienced and I learned much from him about the comfort of the student and so on, that I use everytime I do a Tandem to this day. It was a wierd sensation to not have my own rig on but I trusted the JM (Raff) tremendously. When I had to take several experienced passengers to get my rating I know most of them were not thrilled with it all that much. Sebazz........

Unfortunately I can't make any recomendations without jumping with you. If you can not make it to a tunnel more jumps/air time is the only thing that helps everyone. That is the only time you can learn. Tunnel time would definately be good for anyone myself included. The Vegas tunnel from what I have heard is not the best tunnel to learn in. It is slower than actual freefall so you must wear baggy clothing and fly slightly flatter than you should. Of course I could be way way wrong since this only speculation and not fact. The best recomedation is to just get out there and jump and do not be afraid to add your own ideas/input when briefing with the JM's. Sebazz........

If it is your daughter doing the jump you should wear a baggy suit. The fall rate will most likely be slow unless the JM is 200+ Lbs. The individual tandem JM will probably decide weather he/she would prefer you to dive out after the tandem or float. To each their own. When docking on the tandem approach low. The tandem will have a large burble sorounding them so approach and dock lower than the tandem so as not to get sucked onto their back and get wrapped up in the drogue. Also dock on your daughter and not the Tandem master. Turn and track away before pull time. Tandem opening are a little odd sometimes "trap door affect" so if you are unfamiliar with them stay away at pull time. Swooping tandems is very very fun. Plus it's your daughter, so even funner Sebazz........
