?Beers+shots cunsumed over four day period:18:5 cases just for the heck of it and some firsts I won't mention I really had a good weekend. Did a couple jumps with Bill V. Met Tee and jumped with her hubby a couple of times. Did a sweet four way with Steve1 and his buddies. Met SkyCat and HooknSwoop. Met Beachbum and actually camped right next to him. Thanks for the hammer bro. If I left someone out it's because my head is in the clouds. LP rocks!! Um I mean it sucks. Don't go there...........

In two hours I will be heading out to my FIRST big time boogie. I can't sit still. Zoom zoom zoom.........ok ok get a grip dude I wanna go right this second. I feel like I am about to go do my very first jump or something. Actually I feel more excited. Is this normal or am just super duper hooked to jumping. Lots a planes, people jumping out of them, mountains, Beer...... Hmmmmm. the mind is awry

Basicaly you need to do everything and anything to do what you really want to do. It wont just come to you. So go out kick some ass and make some money You can do it yea baby! When I first started jumping I did the once a month thing. I was younger of course. Then I just started making decisions to be more efficient with what money I had. Then I did what I could to make more. Simple.......... Let us know how AFF goes.............

I agree with you ltdiver. And therefore I also agree that night jumps should be mandatory for a D license. The highest license should indicate that an individual has jumped in almost any condition. Of course if you prefer we can just throw you out of the plane blindfolded.....j/k

We really have been having an awesome summer here in Nor Cal. We have not been weathered on any weekends since April. The insect population is tiny and the temps have been super mild. Actually I take it back. It sucks out here. Don't come........... unless of course your name is Skymama

Quality versus quantity? Ok i'll take both J/K I prefer quality.... approx 4.6 years / 1545 jumps = 0.9088 jumps per day.. Ya but I was haulin meat on a lot of those..... Cheers who cares lets drink beer.......

My first jump was an AFF level 1 at Skydive Hollister in CA on October 13, 1997 out of a King Air from 15,000 with a Telesis rip cord rig and a Manta main. Greg Nardi was my reserve side JM and Kirk Osgood was my main side JM. It was sweet!!!!!

I have done one tandem as a passenger. When I got my Tandem rating it was a requirement to be a passanger for one jump. It was akward to not be in control. I really recommend tandems for most people for their first jump at least. You get to experience a skydive with little training and little responsibility. The AFF program requires far more attention and training with little time to just "enjoy a skydive". I think I had almost 750 jumps before I did my first tandem. One job that I would not care for is a tandem evaluator. Being ginnea pig for someone. Although someone did it for me (SBS) and there was serious apprehension when I asked for my rating.. "Jump with SEB?! F~kin kidding me NO way..........." J/K
