"Is it correct though that all visiting jumpers to the USA must take out temporary USPA membership when jumping at a USPA affiliated DZ?" Not sure, when I came here back in Nov, I signed up anyway, less hassle, (I'd misplaced my BPA card, so would have been screwed anyway) and quite a good mag, not as good as our one though

The safe way to do it sarge, is to use the wee app that I linked to above. Works just fine and any clutz like myself can safely shut stuff down stuff without friggin with the kernel apps...... Cya D GR# 37 Remember how lucky you are to see and touch the sky; the blind may only dream.

Okay John, fek..... Phone around and see if you can get a reconditioned engine, it sounds like you have scored the sleeve and trashed the piston doing so. This is relatively easy to resolve, off with its head, take the cylinder block off and replace from there on up, including the piston, may as well replace the rings on the good ones whilst you are at it. " would refuse to give up either" Or if you downsize too quickly you might have to give up both for a while, . Its virtually impossible to get a stiffy when you are on a heavy morphine dosage..... Traction makes it fun trying tho

And don't forget to put some beer in the Chilli...Top tip from top chilli mannie, the one and only Scotty Carbone..and If you overdo the spice, you can put in some demerara sugar to temper it a little, just a pinch tho... Mama....when disc defragging, the program will reset and restart if there is anything running in the background, such as virus checkers etc, task scheduler, and a whole host of other 'invisible' applications........ Go here fix mamas problem and follow the download instructions etc, things will work just fine after that. Its pretty straightforward to use, and virtually foolproof, shutting apps like this will not hurt your PC. I use it to speed up system response when I am running processor intensive apps like video editing, or burning CDs etc... Good luck. "IT's too bad I'm going to kick your ass in that D" You won't kick my ass, my ass will remain unchallenged for the duration of this competition. Simply put, it will be impossible to beat me, I am untouchable.........cos I'm not in it.

"Whats the market price for a volvo without an engine" Wrong question John, perhaps you should consider its insurance value, y'know, how much would you get for it if it were stolen and torched for example????? I'm not suggesting you try and defraud a noble institution like your insurance company or anything like that....... Otherwise you might get 50 quid for it scrap value.... "NO ONE is allowed to have an opinion which differs or even slightly varies from mine" Got to agree with you on that one Cya D GR# 37 Remember how lucky you are to see and touch the sky; the blind may only dream.

"That paint job is just wrong and bad and wrong" Heretic, witch, burn her, burn her... Actually, I agree with you there aren't enough dull, boring monotone paint jobs out there.. There's far too many people having a lark and enjoying themselves in our sport. Cya D GR# 37 Remember how lucky you are to see and touch the sky; the blind may only dream.

"long ass hair" Its better than a long hairy ass.....Calm down Clay, its a Texan phrase....She has looooong blonde hair, is a wikkid hottie fun luvin' freeflier, and a party animal extraordinaire. Allegedly Rachill can do oral in freefall ....You still lookin' fer a gal in your life Clay? I'll be there this afternoon Rache....lets git some

"You'd also have to join the BPA, membership includes 3rd party insurance and the most excellent BPA skydivemag" I'm not sure about having to join the BPA, as long as Oz haas say USPA, or some other equivalent, its normally cool to let 'visiting' jumpers jump on their own national BPA/USPA/APA etc....If Oz started in the US he probably has a valid USPA..... You are of course aboslutely correct about the most excellent magazine though.......Lesley Gale rocks...... Cya D GR# 37 Remember how lucky you are to see and touch the sky; the blind may only dream.

"(love insurance, paid $150 total for it)" Hey Phree, forgive my ignorance, I'm not from round here....but what the hell is 'love insurance'. I've seen house insurance, car insurance, travel insurance etc....I didn't know you could get love insurance....What does it cover you for? hehehehe Cya D GR# 37 Remember how lucky you are to see and touch the sky; the blind may only dream.

Do you admit you're a skydiver in job interviews?
nacmacfeegle replied to Deuce's topic in The Bonfire
The other thing is, well lets face it skydivers are simply not everyday people, we are actually quite rare. It might help get you remembered/noticed/stand out from the crowd kinda thing.......It also gives you a chance to talk about some of the things I mentioned earlier like team work attention to detail etc etc etc. Cya D GR# 37 Remember how lucky you are to see and touch the sky; the blind may only dream. -
