Hey Blue....Lots of good stuff here, Tammi is right about the muscle memory, she will keep you straight. Anyone who makes an honest, decent man out of Scotty deserves respect . Your not alone in struggling with early jumps, I was a flailer on S/L, one tip that seemed to help me was to focus on a point inside the cockpit on the roof, and keep your eyes on it throughout the exit. This helps you maintain heading, and keep the arch on. It worked for me.... Good luck, skydiving is not easy, and its not natural, but will feel easy, and second nature pretty soon. Its a big buzz going from 5 second delays to 10, its the last time in your progression that your freefall time will double. Above all though, enjoy it, if it ain't fun don't do it. And let us all know how yu are getting on.

Zennie....of course he's a freeflier, he already has 9 months head down, and has no grippers on his suits...Besides, he came from the dark and will not be drawn to the light like so many moths Clay, as for the packing, see the snap....
