Just make sure they are fast enough for video editing. The Maxtor ones are... Based on teh fact that you are going to try and do mre than one project, you should think about amore storage real estate as Lori suggests. Dave, how long is your intended project? What format is the final thing to be, DVD? Will there be mucho special effects, titles etc? My bad Hookster, I've been busy posting between this thread and the other on reserve handles, I must have got my brain fried when I took the tin foil hat off. I meant that the looped cutaway is a standard option, as is the soft reserve pad. "Heck it's not like I haven't put my foot in my mouth before" Sorry to cause you any confusion, in this case, I'm confused. So how is this Neptune gizmo gonna work then? If its to be an audible, then size DOES matter, small is good. If its to be a visual wrist mount, again size DOES matter and the thing would be too small to be useful. Has anyone seen one in the flesh as it were, have they jumped it, or used it for say a month or two prior to rcommending it to other people? What are the logging facilities like? Software workable? Battery life? Unit reliability? Are the buttons too small to play with whilst wearing gloves? Customer support etc etc What is the price, and where can one buy it in the UK? (the orginal poster is British).
