If you do feel you are the Marrying type..... Lewis Grizzard came up with a Great Plan after his 3rd Marrige... Every 5 Years.. Pick some random woman walking down the street, Buy her a House, Give her half of your Money and walk way. Think of all the money you will save in legal fees.

I would have loved to have seen you trying to advance the Thumb Wheel to get the next shot in freefall. LOL!!! And dont forget to hold the little flash Charge Button untill the light comes on.

Cool!! I am Almost Home free!! Seriously.. I have never understood why any Man would sign a Contract that basically says... "If you ever get pissed at me, You can have everything I own". Oh and there is a Possibility that I will have to pay you until you find some other sucker to Marry you. Sorry.. I just never understood why ANYONE would want to get Married. Date Forever.. Live together... Love each other till death do you part... Why do you need a legally binding Contract to do these things?? Most people RUSH into marriage because they are taught this is what they are supposed to do... I remember in College there 100`s of women who were just there for their MRS Degree and they were quite honest about it. Got to find them a Husband. Pretty sad if you ask me.

I have this same problem. It is a form of Dyslexia. It is a real problem and very hard to overcome. After 37 years.. I still get the whole Left - Right thing mixed up. Years ago a friend got tired of this and stuffs a small teddy bear between my windshield and the dash on the passengers side of my car. There was an Emissions sticker on the Drivers side. I have numerous friend that still give me direction in "Teddy Bear" and "Sticker". After the second Light, Take a Sticker.. Go three Blocks and then Teddy Bear. It will be on the Sticker Side.

LOL!!! Yea.. I greatly apprieciate the rankings... but I still like to see the Main Tourney and the late Tourney seperated. Many people only play in one or the other.. Others Play in Both. (And it really helps that is the only way I get Ranked above Swoop!!) Ranking by just total winnings from someone who only plays in 10 Tournaments vs someone else who played in 20 during the same time period is not the most accurate way to measure success. Some of US cant make the late Tourney beacuse it end at 1:00am EST or later.. Some cant make the Main tournament because it starts at 6:00pm PST. Average Winning by Tournement also gets scewed by people that only played once and happened to get into the money.

Which Row is it that you think will move you up??

I Think it was Aubrey from Aerodyne that had a Very appropriate Sig Line for this situation.... It was something like: Those who say it cant be done, Should not stand in the way of those that are in the process of Doing it!! Or something like that. People said the same thing about the Farm when it opened two years ago.. They said the Atlanta Area could not support 4 Turbin DZ`s. All 4 Big DZ`s still going strong.. (Yes we did loose one Cessna DZ but that was because of other issues).

TO WHOEVER STOLE MY LAPTOP FROM THE FARM:
Thanatos340 replied to RastaRicanAir's topic in The Bonfire
The full situation was that Robby had spent ALOT of time putting together a Playlist for the Party that night. His (And Maryanne’s) Laptop was Connected to the Farm`s PA System to Play that Music. The Party was still going Strong when Robby went to bed. Instead of doing what most of us would have done and Taking his Laptop with him... Thus Ending the Music.. He left it Playing. Hindsight now tells us this was a Mistake, However up until the Moment the Laptop was Taken... He had no reason to believe that it would be anything but safe as these were his Friends and Family. It was a Hard lesson for all of us. We all feel violated by this and want to do something. Not for me it isnt... especially when he did that for the benefit of others. It was an Intergral part of the Party that was going on. It is not like he just left it laying around somewhere.. It was being used. Sadly.. They took the back up Hard drive too. Again Hindsight is 20/20. NO.. But many of those that were there do feel bad about this as we all feel we could have done something to prevent this. Many of the people that have offered up money feel partially responsible because any one of us could have put up the laptop before going to bed. In fact many of us even commented on the fact that we considered it at various points during the night. We Look out for each other at the Farm. Because we want to see the Bastard that came into OUR house... (Yes The Farm is Our House as far as many of us are concerned.. it is our HOME DZ) and Stole from one of US identified and dealt with. It makes it even worse that the Farm was putting on a FREE BOOGIE at the Time... FREE JUMPS for everyone... and some Bastard decides to steal from us as well. I will also like to point out that several people who have offered money have never been to the Farm but I think they understand how we all feel right and want to help. I commend that and it goes to show that YES there are some Bad Apples as you pointed out but for every Bad one.. There are 100 more good ones in this sport. -
Here is the Story with Pictures even.. http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=2041963;search_string=Metallica%2C%20Snow;#2041963 And it was no Fuax Pas... It was very intentional. Kirk Hammett was a Good Sport about it and told the guy he owed him atleast the cost of a Table dance in that case or something like that.

SWEET!!!! And I thought my 80+ GB collection was big. My Collection is at least 99% legal. There are a few songs that I have that are no longer available or completely out of print and no longer being published.(Usually pretty obscure Local Bands and stuff) that I did snag off Napster back in the day but only when there was no other way to get that music. If could find those songs on a CD anywhere, I would buy it in a heartbeat. The one big Draw back to most of the Legal Download Sites is the Limited selection available.
-
Not That!!... Your MP3 Collection?? How big is it.. How much of it is 100% legal?? (You own the CD, Cassette or Record and/or you Paid to download it)?
-
Not Really.. Its is usually called Marrige!

TO WHOEVER STOLE MY LAPTOP FROM THE FARM:
Thanatos340 replied to RastaRicanAir's topic in The Bonfire
You toss around the Thief Label quite freely without anything to back it up. I also have a HUGE MP3 Collection. 100% of it is legal. Most of it came from my personal 800+ CD Collection. I was also Professional DJ for a few years (Music Director for a Station in Carrolton, Ga for a Year and a Strip Club DJ for 3 More Years) but no where near as long as Robby (Rastaricanair) was (10+ years in commercial Radio). As a Professional DJ, Labels send you 100`s of CD`s each week trying to get exposure for their artists. It is very easy to accumulate a 14000 song collection of music that you have legal rights to for personal use. Many LEGAL services also offer unlimited MP3 Downloads for a set monthly fee. As for commercial use of the Music.. ONCE you are operating.. the Management companies like BMI/ASCAP and others that you use ask you to periodically log the music you play on a Given day and send that information in. This is how Song Writers and Artists get paid based on the how often their music is played. The Dues/Membership/Royalties each Commercial establishment pay (Quite substantial for many of the Clubs I worked in) is then distributed to the Artists. I can tell you that the standard License fee for a Medium sized Strip Club to cover Use of ALL Music played in that commercial establishment was roughly $4,300 per year in the Mid 90`s. I had to deal with this for every Club I worked at). That was for an Operation that was open and playing Music 10am till 3am 6 days a week.) The Labels and Artist call you CONSTANTLY trying to get you to PLAY their music. There is no per song license. You pay a flat rate to BMI/Ascap and that covers you for all Music. Anyone Collecting a HUGE MP3 Collection for use to start up a commercial DJ service is in no way violating any laws and does not deserve to be called a Thief. Once that Business is started.. Yes they must pay the royalties (AT THAT TIME!!!). Until then.. Anyone is free to RIP to their hearts content any CD`s that they own as long as they are using the music for personal use and not distributing the song over the net or any other way. But since you know so much about intellectual property rights.. I am sure you already know all this. If you have anything to add about the THEFT of the Laptop (Which is the subject of this thread), Please do. If you wish a debate over Intellectual Property Rights... Start a Thread. In the mean time I think you owe an Apology for calling someone a Thief without a CLUE how the music industry handles Licensing.
