ok so it didnt happen. she got stuck closing the store that saturday night so i never went over there. Then i got called into work sunday for an emergency yacht job that had to get done. She didnt believe me when i told her that i had to work. She thought i was blowing her off. Even after i told her that work always comes first being that its basically a customer service/trade field. I suggested that we go out into a social atmosphere, she said she would just rather me come over and watch a movie. Which would be the safer bet? Now we met through a local personal service and ended up talking on the phone for nearly 11 hours between last night and this morning...the longest i have ever been on the phone. We exchanged pictures via picture messages and we both have the initial attraction and we have demonstrated that we can hold a conversation being that there werent any long awkward pauses. I would rather not go to her house the first time we meet face to face becasue i know something will happen. She made that quite apparent. I think she is a great girl and dont want to mess it up by putting myself in that situation. So..what do i do? ok...heres mine...happened today. So..i worked the weekend...on straight time because i had thursday and friday off. One of the jobs i had to do was install foam rubber insulation on a refrigerant system on a yacht(picture attached). Installing rubber on a yacht is typically first class mechanic duties. Im a third class mechanic. Now there is a $5.34 differance per hour between the two pay classes. So i do the job and i do it well. The chief engineer was very happy with the work i did. That was on Saturday. Today...monday..im about to go back to work from my three oclock break and my leadman comes out and starts bitching because i, by his thinking, installed the wrong size piece on a 90 degree bend. What he didnt know is that that bend actually increases in size due to a fitting that the pipe lead into. I did the correct thing..which came from a first class mechanic that checked my work after i was finished. SO i try defending myself telling him exactly what i typed so far about the fitting being there and having to increase the size. I didnt get but a few words out and he just started yelling more. I wasnt able to get in the fact that my work looked better that some of the first class's work that was done on the yacht while it was there. Then he brings up a removal job that i had to do on a Navy frigate. He starts telling me that i removed too much...saying that sections that he thought i removed i took out 20 feet at a time. Now..keep in mind that i handed him a list of the exact spaces and exact areas that was removed...so he knew what i removed. The areas that i did removed, the longest section was 22 inches..a HUGE differance from 20 feet! So now he's yelling at me for something that i didnt even do! Then he evens go so far as telling me that i dont deserve to be paid 3rd class mechanic pay and that i should have been a helper for longer. WHAT THE FUCK!!! He had nothing to do with my mechanic raise. My forman promoted me without any word from my leadman. After my 90 day period i asked my leadman once a month every month about what i had to do to get my raise. THen..one day my forman walks up to me when i was working on one of the big ass tents we have and just promoted me...just so happened to be the week i was there for 6 months. Well..i went back and asked my leadman if he said anything to my forman about my raise and he didnt say shit. He just blew me off whenever i asked about it. It took every ounce of willpower i had to not just completely blow up on his ass. Worst part about all of this...he pulled this shit right in the middle of the shop with all of the other shop employees. Im sorry but i have always been instructed to praise in public, critisize in private. He could have gone about this is a completely different manner. For those that are posting about how we should have called the police before he got there. We tried. The first time the call was dropped. The number i had in my phone for the police didnt work..yeah..pointless..i know. Then we finally just called 911 but he got there a lot quicker than we anticipated as we finally got through when he was pulling up into the driveway. I know i know..there are a ton of "what if's". I feel good about what we did. No one should really care about their lifestyle. That wasnt the point of making this post. The point is that there are very sick men out there that are willing to pay to have sex with young children. Im glad i helped in getting one more out of society...at least for a long time. By the time he gets out the boys that are already in jail will teach him a lesson. Say what you want about me or my friends..i feel good about it. For those that agree with my actions....thanks. I know plenty of people that would have done the same had they been in a similar situation. We arent law enforcement officers. To the person that said he will get off. According to what the dectectives told us they have MORE than enough to prosecute him. Remember...they confiscated his cell phone AND digital camera. They wouldnt tell us what was on either..but why confiscate it if it coulndt be used against him? They have more than we gave them. They may not even need our testimony based on what was on that camera and/or cell phone. John did call 911 before he arrived. Unfortunately the lady on the other end was a retard and couldnt understand him when he plainly told her that he needs a police officer to his residence and he gave the the address and she kept on asking what his address is..like 4 or 5 times i believe it was. But yeah...he tried getting them there sooner but 911 wasnt that co-operative. They got the job done..just not as fast as it could have been done. We spoke to the officers about this exact situation. If anything should happen...and there is any connection to that man...at all....they will be brought up on charges as accessories(sp). Besides....their neighborhood is a pretty good one. If neighbors see anything suspicious the law will be notified...now that their whole neighborhood knows whats going on and what happened last night. Oh trust me..john and i wanted to beat him to a bloody mess...along with Tim who got there in the middle of all of this. We thought about it...we could either beat the living shit outta him and he goes home...heals...and goes out and tries to do it again...ot get the police involved and have him do prison time. So yeah...i had an interesting night. I get a call from my boy john telling me to get my ass over to his house. Apparently his fiancee jessica had a guy on a local chatline thinking she had an 8 year old daughter. This man was online looking for a woman with kids and he was offering money to have sex with her kids. So she led him to believe she had one and she was willing to go through with it. The child obviously doesnt exist. So i get to their house about 5 minutes before he does. John and i are in the back bedroom of the house waiting for him to come in. He comes into the house and gives her half of the 300 he was offering. She takes him into the front bedroom and tells him to wait so she could go get the fictional daughter. John and i walk out and he immediately turns white and puts his hand in his right pocket. We werent stupid....we both knew he had a gun...but he wasnt stupid enough to pull it out. Both john and i were within a foot or so of him.....so if he did decide to pull it out he wouldnt have had an opportunity to use it. So we held him there while john called 911. He tried calling 911 also making up some bullshit story. He tried saying that he met them at the corner store at 12 noon. Jess showed the police officers her cell phone stating that she called him at 8:26p.m. Why would she call him if he is already at their house?? Yeah that right there told the officers that he is bullshitting. The officers siezed his pistol, searched his truck and found a digital camera. They wouldnt tell us what was on it but they confiscated it along with his cell phone. John turned over the money to them also as more evidence. The cops werent sure if they could actually arrest him being that no actual acts were commited. Well....after futher deliberation with the sex crime department downtown they arrested him. Jess and i went downtown to give the dectectives the full story. The dectectives told us that there is a new law in florida..which is less than a year old...that even traveling..no matter the distance...to meet a minor for anykind of sex act is illegal weather the act was commited or not. Its a second degree felony and he is now facing up to 15 years if we testify....which we fully plan to. I also found out after we left the police station that he is military....so he is in even more of a world of hurt. So..thanks to our little sting operation there is one more sexual predator off the street. well...i voted yes...BUT sex isnt treated the same now as it was 20 years ago. I have had sex on the first date...some of which the relationship lasted long term...some short term. I dont base a relationship off sex. Granted its a deff plus if it is great....but there is more to a relationship than just that one aspect. The one advantage of having sex early on is to find out if it is good or not. Its kinda depressing waiting a given amount of time only to discover that your partner that you waited weeks or in some cases months for...is a complete dull lover. Overall i think its good to do early on...as long as both people are mature enough to handle it early on.
