Oh no, the "nice guy" kiss of death! Some of us happen to LIKE nice guys! It seems VSkydiver is one of us, so I'm not thinking that's any kind of kiss of death. Yeah...a lot of women say that but it's not reality. I have finally found a woman that appreciates an actual gentleman...but that took 13 years of dating women that were nothing but a waste of time! You dated them because they were easy? That's actually kinda funny...but still some truth to it. The woman I'm with now...we've known each other for 2 months...been dating for just over a month..and haven't done anything yet...so that to me...is quality! Wel in that case i would like to see some of the officers i have dealth with become enlisted...but on th flipside i have had some very officers over me. Not everyone is cut out to be a leader. Thats one thing i have noticed about military leadership. Ok i just asked my roommate who used to be a PN. He has never seen or heard of any regulations stating that resigning an officer commission to enlist as an enlisted member. Really....if you think about it...who would take that kind of a cut? Losing rank, money, and respect? That sounds like a massive NJP..not somthing one would volunteer for. Its funny I see this thread now. Something happened recently where I myself busted the person just by being in the right place at the right time. I was laid off from my job a little over three weeks ago. Three days before the layoff happened there was roughly 15 or so of us under the break tent. I was a navy contractor so I worked on navy ships. Well one of the guys went into a story about how he lost his base id badge which is what we used to gain access on the ship. So he used his military id card to get on the ship. That's fine. So here comes the bs. He said he's an army captain. Well for those of you that don't know a navy captain is O6...an army captain is O3. Well people rarely ever look at the department...all they see is the rank. Well he goes into how the quaterdeck watch donged him on and had the XO and all the department heads rushing to the qd. He stopped there. Myself...I'm prior active duty navy(7years) and I'm currently army reserve. Well guess who I see at drill weekend 2 weekends ago? Him wearing PV2 on his chest! For those thar don't know PV2 is private/E2. I didn't say anything as I try not to throw people under the bus but I'm sure he's conscious of the fact that he was busted. Its sad the things people will say to make themselves seem cool. Yeah you guessed it...this post is about a woman! Although this time its different. When i have posted in the past it was always before i knew for sure what was going on. This time i waited till after it was decided! Ok so like 3 months ago i decide to stop looking for a woman and just do my own thing. Well last sunday i get a random message on myspace from a woman named Kristi. She did a search for people in Jacksonville that skydive and my profile was the first one to pop up. So she sent me a message becasue she wanted to do her first skydive for her birthday this friday. Unfortunately due to her career it will be a little later but she certainly wants to do it. So i write her back answering her questions. Well like an hour later i actually went back and looked at her profile and i was like wow..is this girl really single? So i sent her a message just breaking the ice. so we start talking. Long story whort we met 3 days later after numerous messages back and forth eventually leading to texting and phone calls. There was instant chemistry. We both feel the same about each other too! She is the total package...very successful...but humble at the same time. Everything just feels so right for the first time in like 6 years. What they say is true...when you stop looking is when the best things happen! Picture attached.
