Ridiculous. I made an enquiry of Porteous before YOU ever entered the pic Blevins. You have been had 1st by Porteous and then Gray. Porteous was just putting some feelers out because of the letter Lyle wrote. You were hungry and latched on. Gray was genuinely interested in the case & why - he chewed on the Kenny thing - but just for awhile. After you got hold of it - did HIS own thing before it got out of hand. No way w/ Blevins being a realist. Jo was another case, but it got in the way of Blevination. At least JO only agreed to a limited visit and on her terms. Gray obliged. Since Jo was the last interview - Grey got LOST. He did NOT know what to do. None of you EVER GOT the Rabbit HOLE, but I did with a BIG laugh! Grey did a great job. He got his book & stayed out of trouble. His Book was bait! SO much Grey did NOT write & I am the one who saw the look on his face a couple of times - not of doubt - but, a "what the F..k " kind of look. He tried playing me against other characters - I had things in writing - not just he said she said. He wanted to tell more, but he kept his promise...Is this damn woman for real? If someone knows me on a personal basis - they know exactly were I am coming from...some get me and some get out of the way and some just ignore me. Sluggo was I think supposed to defuse me. He only slowed me down. We will let it go as Crazy, Delusional and OFF my Rocker. None of you ever got that or understood where this came from....well, Gray met me in person - and KNOWS I am none of the above. I actually showed him things he could hold in his hands and see - others couldn't do that...it was all she said he said....about a person the individual had only casual knowledge of. By the way the Russia comment was my way of expressing complete dismay with our government at this point. Washington is behaving like a bunch of smut reporters. Even the Enquirer reporters are doing a better job communicating the truths than DC. What is going on in DC is reflective of what this thread is doing....all talk and no real explanations or actions...no plan of actions to bring about a realistic result that can be agreed on! I hope this President we have reads my STATEMENT and then in TURN shares it with the decision makers and agreeds to disagree, but to make that horrible tasting medicine a little more pleasant. We have a cold - we are NOT terminal & in need of the biggest dose of radiation and chemo that can be given...the fatality rate is high! To BAD DC can't read the thread and see themselves in the characters of Cooper World. Perhaps we should for the fun of it assign each poster and a politicans name. We all know Blevins with be Obama! Georger YOU guys gave me a bad time with some of the things I have tried to tell, but what Blevins is doing now - FOR GODSAKE - he needs to go hide away and NEVER show his face. He has an excuse for the excuses and then an excuse for what happened before that. The story about LARGE airstreams not being allowed in Paradise I had been told, but only thru one source who had NOTHING to do with Blevins or his claims. A young man who grew up in the area - but he was just a kid in 1971. I never thought to ask anyone, because I had things I was doing and they did NOT include proving or disproving Blevins. NOW if the GUYS had a homemade camper - that is an all together different thing. NOW watch this - suddenly the airstream will become the HOMEMADE camper (which is actually a part of the Weber story)...if it is EVER told, but until I can validate certain things - that story will not be blabbed all over the world. I do remember small airstreams (might not have been airstreams) going down the road on my many traveled trips with my father. Small Silver funny looking things. I have argued for yrs that Duane was a Spotter and sharp shooter, but they guys are unrelenting. Spotters needed good eyesite - preferably those who were FARSIGHTED. Duane was also a sharp shoot,..both pistol and rifle. I was dissed on this - but it was a FACT! VERY often a good spotter who was farsighted - was chosen to do that - he saved live. The jumpers depending on his putting them down in the right place at the right time....and fast. Often the spotter did not have a chute if they were in short demand. In 1971 a man by the name of XX contacted an old friend needing some assistance. Supposedly he old friend he confided in arranged a contact with an attorney by the name James Luezke in Portland. The attorney petitioned the State of WA in an attempt to have XX receive amnesty if he told what he knew about D.B.Cooper. (bear in mind I am only glossing over things - no names or details)....other than the attorney who is deceased (hoping some one knows how to obtain any files that may remain). The state refused amnesty or immunity (whatever it was called) because they said the case had been turned over to DC and he would have to go in that direction (this was around 1991 after the man made an attempt to contact me). In 2004 approximately the man died. His own family per rumor thought he had something to do with the case and/or suspected he had something to do with the incident. I am not aware if XX ever told his family exactly what was going on - but, there are hints the family suspected something. That attorney is retired and I believe deceased, but his records maybe in the files and hopefully never destroyed...but 2001 - that was 12 yrs ago. He did have a partner, but like Tosaw may have retained his own personal file for the family to dispose of. If any of you are interested in trying to pursue this - please let me know. Evidently the FBI doesn't give a damn about the case. 377 - you are an attorney - do you know what would have happened to his files - I am sure the clients name was never revealed in the files or to anyone else other than the old friend. This old friend tried to tell me yrs ago and his last attempt got thur but it took 2 yrs before this DUMB BUNNY understood what he was trying to tell me. I will share what information I have with an attorney of the FBI, but the FBI has been told this story and they have IGNORED me. When I discovered this was the same guy who tried to contact me thru a journalist and found out he died in 2004 and then with the recent information surfacing - realized I had walked right over the most important lead I ever had and then the FBI also walked over it. Perhaps in 2001 the man knew he was ill - I do not know the circumstances of his death in approx 2004. I told Himmelsbach about this and he knew about it at the time if I was properly informed...I would not swear to this. Some of the things I have known over the yrs are getting a little fuzzy - especially something like this that I only glossed over at the time and basically ignored. As for the notes these are things I wrote down that day - but do not remember or been able to find anymore. Beasley, Nathan, Jesse Watts (have NO idea who that is), Frank with a slash Schoals. The next words are Riggers Shield or Field. 377 - remember we thought it was a device - but it is a place! I have not been able to put anything similar to a place or airfield or otherwise. All of the other terminology has been discussed and clarified, other than smoker butte and santa lana. Since I could not tell the F's sounds from the S sounds - anyone's guess is better than mine if they know the WA/OR area inside and out. Names of place sometimes are changed. I found no sound alikes on any map I have. Sandy Oregon - I know the significance of it (if it is in OR) as Duane had told me 3 men had a cabin on the river in that direction at one time. He also indicated he personally knew an individual who has not been able to ID any pics of Weber he has received. Weber did describe the person and the location in detail, but we cannot place Weber or any of his AKA's at that location. Why I am DRIVING this into the GROUND? Duane Weber told me himself he knew the man - but I could only remember sound alike names. Now I know I was pretty damn close. I have known this for 2 yrs and can get NO assistance from anyone, much less the FBI. They do NOT take phone calls nor do they acknowledge emails - I believe everything Jo Weber sends goes to a dead file to be shredded and destroyed just as the Cooper files that would reveal who Cooper was are also destroyed. The only discussions I had with the FBI in several yrs happened in the 1st 6 months of this yr 2013. I get a recorder, but no response. I have been informed the Museum has only ONE photo of Weber and that is the one the brother sent to me that is distorted and looks nothing like Weber ever looked.... They are using NO other photos of Weber when it is Weber's history in WA that needs to be exposed. What are they afraid of? That someone might remember THAT BOY from 1949 or 1950 or 1963 or at any other time. Since the museum is getting exposure one can BE SURE the GOVERNMENT wants NO photos of Duane Weber exposed that might cause someone curious enough to identify him. The picture being used was scanned by the brother and it is distorted. THE photo of CHOICE for the FBI - it suits their PURPOSE and / or the purpose of the dirty secrets our government keeps. I NO LONGER respect our government and the dirty politics. The musuem person listed on their site NEVER heard of Weber and told me to contact the FBI. THIS was expected. All I wanted to do was make sure they had the RIGHT photos - I was presenting nothing other than to offer photos. Snowden is doing well in Russia and IF I could go I would leave also. A man he represented asked for help to bring forward a suspect - but feared being accused of the crime himself. The state claimed it was not in their hands TO GRANT amnesty and the application would have to made with the Feds out of D.C. I have NO knowledge if D.C. was contacted. The individual the attorney represented as a John Doe was never disclosed nor attempted arrangements for the informant...I know who he was. This informant sought the assistance of an attorney in 2001 after his attempts to reach me thru a journalist - we did NOT explore the enquiry and felt it of no interest. So happens it was the most important lead that developed out of the news article, but would not come to the fore-front until another man related the the man's story to me about 2 yrs ago.. The records of that old attorney will prove it. I know the name of the John Doe and the name of the attorney. The Attorney never released the name of the man asking for assistance nor the name of the friend who approached him on behalf of this friend. I know who they are. The forestry and the smoke jumpers and criminals and wayward boys - they all worked close together...NO defining lines like others in the thread claimed. Duane MIGHT not have been a CERTIFIED jumper but he had plenty of EXPOSURE! I believe he did jump...and I think there is a picture someplace that puts him in a chute or with guys with chutes on. Duane talked about Moscow, Pullman and Potlach and Palouse -he got in trouble with another boy and he could never go back there. Guess where the 'boy' used to live that contacted the attorney. He was a jumper and Duane knew him. Frank, School or Schoal, don't even know what these things or places or names mean! Yea, you would be hanging your head low and hoping NO ONE recognized you. You have repeatedly made claims and as soon as you see the heat is on - you tuck your head between your legs and run like CHICKEN LITTLE - "I didn't do it", "It's not my fault - that's what Grey said". You blame everyone else for your mistakes rather than owing up to the fact that you created a story about a man for whom there was absolutely NO reason to think was Cooper. No confession. No evidence, No facts, No personal knowledge - JUST the forcing and fabrication of things to write a book and make a name for yourself - hoping to cash in on FAME! At least Duane did confess, he had a criminal record, he was in WA, he fit the ID, He had dark brown eyes, he had the right complexion, he had a scar on his (now I forgot) which hand, but it is in the San Quentin file so it is NOT just words from Jo Weber. Weber's whereabouts were unknown in Nov of 1971, He had a motive, he had a reason, he had opportunity, he confessed, he had the ticket and a stub, he had the white bank bag, he had a part of a chute, he had the right kind of voice, he had the knowledge of the area, he was broke and looking for a way to stay off the streets. Prison would have been better than the streets for a kidney patient. I didn't make any of the above up, but since I didn't know who the hell Dan Cooper was - I have no evidence. OR do I? Time will tell - so far the Historical site hasn't denounced Weber that I am aware of or one of you would have told me so. If the museum mentions Mayfield as suspect or KC or DL or Drayton - then one would think it essential to talk about the longest running suspect. In so far as I know NO suspect has been mentioned by the site! Gray is promoting his book, but he has NOT declared anyone suspect over another! Must not forget Coffelt and the many other suspects! Some of which have only been conjured up by individuals writing a book or just wanting to be a part of the Cooper Mystery! To support one suspect over another suspect or provide time for Blevins or those who wrote about there suspects - would be taking a birds eye view of the case. It is either ALL or NONE at all. If the state presents one subject over another - they place themselves in the position of judge and juror. Since I cannot down load the stuff and only know what is being said in this thread - has the museum favored a suspect or allowed the books on certain suspects to be presented at the thread? If so they have to give fair representation to ALL suspects. There is only one who will make history and that is the REAL Cooper, but who is the Real Cooper? Some where in all of the footage of paper crap is notes and paperwork, I spoke with a young man who lived in Or - but, it was 20's supposedly found - not a skull. The skull comes from another "find" if one wished to call them that. The skull turned out to be an indian squaw and not recent enough to be Cooper. Sounds like two stories got co-mingled into one. Tried to see some of it and hear some of it - but dial-up got me no where. Had contacted people about new system - but out of my pocketbook range, but during a hurricane - the tower are down and out. NO go for someone who does NOT leave during a hurricane. Oh, well, maybe someone can put them on a disk for me. The library here is very small and the unemployed people stack up to use them. I am allowed an hour, but as SLOW as I am - would take me an hour to get on the computer and there is NO privacy! You guys will just have to tell me what is going on. Absolutely fantastic. I had communicated many yrs ago with Mitchell, but did NOT have the recent picture I acquired of one of the suspects - one concealed from the public by the FBI (one can only wonder why). I need for Mitchell to see this picture and the explanations of the chin. Missing teeth on the lower level - probably wearing a cheap prosthetic at the time of skyjacking which created the pursing of the mouth the composite artist could not get past! I cannot afford nor am I physically able to make the trip nor do I want to put myself in the public. I only ask that you allow me to send that photo along with some other photos - and hope that Mitchell will NOW be able to ID the suspect as a NO or YES. Mitchell only saw the pictures I had in the beginning and not the last pictures I acquired AFTER he and I ceased communications. Any assistance on this will be appreciated. I do NOT need to contact Mitchell myself as you guys can forward the pictures to him - he may be shocked to see the NEW one that a man on this thread located. Obcessive & compulsive - YES! But I do have better things to do...but, I also want vindication. I am just trying to prove what I heard and what I was told. Had it not have been for JT's volital reaction to the things I have told to others - it would have been easy to have moved on. You were not on this end of the line for over 4 yrs being called a liar until 2001 and then in 2006 on this thread it started all over again and esculated. I haven't written a damn book or otherwise....gone public other than 2001 and 2002. Yea, I did some searches and explored the case and made lots of phone calls - at least I was trying to find something to validate me claim. Yes over 18 yrs I am sure and know that in the thread what might appear as a change of course - was also a learning process. Only after I went to WA in 2010 was I actually able to put what I had seen and was told into some kind of order - the 2001 trip with that crew only added to the confusion. Can you even imagine trying to remember the things Duane told me and showed me on a trip in 1979? It took the 2010 trip to clarify as all I had was the confusive complex vicious things JT told me. This is too difficult - the connection will only allow me to type a few words at a time and not correct my errors. Hamster cage is mild compared to how I describe this search. It is like a cage full of an assortment of all kinds of animals...and their keepers. More like a zoo without cages. Survival is imperative. Whew! Finally was able to make a post. All of you keep your ears to the ground - I really and truely do NOT know where ALL of this is going, but it is good for me. Will it prove Duane was Cooper? Probably not, but it hopefully puts Weber in WA during a time the FBI says he was not there. JT got wind of something he called me out of the blue - I had just got off the computer with important information and pictures. I do not tell JT anything. I wanted resolution and even if the resolution is negative - I am moving on. Maybe there has been a confession made by yet another individual and this has NOTHING to do with Weber. Maybe Weber just had knowledge of the incident....but, someone some place kept one HELL of a secret for a long time. I have secretly wanted Vickie's Dad to have been involved - and stranger still is that I knew her story before she told it. Duane had told me the story about the man and the counterfeit 20's and his car - I believe it was white and red. This was why I felt so much compassion for her and she is a really NICE person. All of Duane's "I used to know this person - (substitue a name) or that person" certainly came in handy, but if he knew so many guys - how come no one recognized him over he yrs. How could a DUMB Crook who always got caught manage a get out of jail ticket and 200K. Who was the guy at the pro shop in Vail or Aspen - why did Duane not want me to meet him? What was Duane's connections to this man? So many questions that will never be answered by the thread or by the authorities. It is what it is! The guy Jack or Joaquim - he used to live in the a place Duane pointed out to me and this man came forward in 2001 trying to get the government to provide amnesty, but the State of Wa said it was a DC matter - so the man died in 2004 if I had the right guy. His name was the last name Duane told me - but to this day I still cannot retain that name in my mind...only the sound alikes survived in my memory. He had tried to contact me in 2001 thru Margie Boule, but she nor I decided to persue it at that time. Maybe now that relationship has had some light shed on it. His family went so far as to claim that he was Cooper and the wife claimed to have planted the money. True or False - I can't ask a dead man a question! Maybe the man who contacted me was one of 3 guys who owned a cabin on a river they used to fish at. Maybe one of them was the man who contacted me and I would not talk to. Duane told me a strange story about one of these men - it also involved caddies. By the way Duane was driving a red and white Caddie when we got married....in 1977 - Bought it new in Atlanta, Ga. around the time I met him. Not sure of the yr, but it is in the files. Well, my nephew is an attorney in Ky so I will call my brother (someone you know Georger - you just haven't figured it out yet). Loans REQUIRE a title search and if there has been a prior title search by the same company it is discounted. YES, it is traceable with nothing more than the property legal description which Blevins already has and a visit to the County Records. Obviously he does not and he has no idea what a title search is and usually in every transaction I have known required when there is a loan. You can bet that property has changed has since 1972 and BINGO it is there for the taking. If you think the typewriter thing is FUNNY - wait till you learn just what has gone on in the last 24 hrs. My head is spinning! This venture started out about 2 wks ago and ...culminated this morning. This was something I needed to know - the memory was so sharp and I could not let go of it! Well, validation is a WONDERFUL thing and releases a lot of pentup fears and doubts and replaces them with clarity and certainty, I am definitely not like the woman on Unforgettable, but I do have a remarkable memory something I have recently proven. What happened this morning was validation of my memories. I chaulk it up to facing illness and my age and perhaps the medications I have taken of recent. More like I needed to close the book on the chapters of my life and this saga that has controled my life for 18 yrs now. I needed to be free - FREE! The mind is a remarkly thing when the proper disciplines are place upon it. The results - well, I am sure ALL of you will know in a few days. I also spoke briefly with Mr. H. He tried to tell me it was just the pain, but he was not very convincing... I told him if I didn't see him soon that I would see him "UP THERE". He gave a weak laughed, but I had a tear in my eyes. I am glad I made that call today - and I told him what had been found and he wanted to be sure the FBI had been informed. About 30 minutes later I get a call out of the N.W. My second one of the day! The first call I expected, but the second call completely caused me to doubt my senses. I was thinking "This is NOT Real" "I am dreaming". People who know how to type with both hands (does that include you?) type 15 letters of the alphabet with their left hand and 11 letters with their right hand. Check your computer keyboard for the actual letters. Again, what is your statement suppose to mean? Robert99 Robert I believe this was discussed in the thread, but perhaps it was another source. I do NOT try to remember the details just the goal. Everyone does not apply the same pressure to each and every key. On the old manual keyboards some keys resulted in chips, cracks and armature of pressure from the typists. I have many old manual typewritten documents that demostrate this very clearly. I am relative sure this was discussed in the thread. The older aged typewriters one could most of the time determine if the typist was left handed or write handed as noted by the impression the keys made against the ribbon. That expression alone would mean only one thing to me - someone who had been in the SOUTH for some time. Like New Orleans, Atlanta, Most of Georgia and Alabama. Very doubtful a N.Yorker or some one from Chicago would ever use the terminology....not even the mid west. The guy posting that toots KC - he better choose his points just a little better than relying on a ticket that was NOT signed by Cooper and that ONE expression - just is a dead give away. The FBI might also check the handwriting of the bottle dyed blond who was with Cooper afterwards - the one who aided him and was afraid of being accused of being a conspirator. "We all have a little Larceny in our Heart" Clara wrote that in a letter to Max Gunther and it was written in an old letter she wrote many yrs later". The FBI never did a handwriting comparison to her letters - they didn't even ask to see her letters written to another party. The FBI never compared the type writer print used to the one used in the early days to those connecting to another suspect! I did and they are not a match! There was an OLD typewriter I gave to the GOODWILL before we moved from CO...just too much weight and my typewriter was newer and much better. Duane had some kind of attachment to that old manual typewriter. Bet when his sister died the FBI would have found letters Duane wrote to her aT Christmas - done with that same darn typewriter. Wonder if her son kept any of Duane's old letters written to his sister? I expect he got rid of most things before he took her from CA to his home in another state in her last yr or so of life. Funny Duane mentioned that one of key had a problem and needed replacing, but it was a key that a left handed person would wear down quicker than a right handed person! Fact of Fiction?
