On the 1979 trip with Duane - he made many many comments about the area and the people. I had NO IDEA how important some of those things have now become. In Vancouver - since it was a building he pointed out I assume this was on the return trip. He mentioned he used to know a woman who worked there - IT was MA BELL. Going to Seattle and as we approached Tacoma - he mentions his brother and a friend making an investment venture, but the times were wrong and it didn't work out. He also mention a Stucco house and knew a man who lived there in Pullyallup. Someone on this thread contacted me about this - maybe just to see what I DID remember....way back when. I NOW know why this memory is so damn important! In Seattle on our free day we drove up North but NOT sure how far North. I now have a map I can READ, but it is a new map someone sent me. I cannot figure out how far North we drove. I know we went further than Everett - I want to say we went as far as Burlington because he told me about the islands and he did mention an Indian Reservation - SWINOMISH, but I did NOT know how it was spelled until now. I do NOT know if the airstrip this map show was there prior to 1979. The reason I picked this area was the fact he mentioned the Anacortes Islands. Would someone tell me what is on those islands - I see a lot of airplanes (the little emblems they put on maps to indicated airports and airstrips). It was some where around this time he mentions all of the things NORTH of there - especially Wickersham and Nooksack and Everson and this is when he told me about the road one could slip into British Columbia on. He also told me one of his ex's son was stationed or lived in Bellingham. I later found this to be true. If that is true then the other things he said were true. He was on a journey to a time in his life he had fond memories of. He also mentioned the Nooksack Falls and the northern route across the state into the Cascade. He mentions other things East of there, but they are NOT relevant for my purpose at this time. We turned around at this point which I now know to be Hwy 20. We are pushing to get back to Seattle for dinner with the rest of the crew. As we head back to Seattle - he is still talking about the area. This is when he mentions Snohomish and an airstrip and a sheriff - BUT this map DOES NOT show an airstrip there. Can someone tell me if there was ever one there. 1945 to 1971...could have been a private strip. After this point I do not remember any more of what he said or pointed out to me on this little afternoon trip out of Seattle on a free afternoon. Duane had a very close attachment with WA and it was NOT all about prisons or camps. His memories were NOT bad - his reference to the BOYS - it was a good feeling. I just GLANCED down at the lower part of this map I have folded and saw Puyallup and it's location. Sitting at my desk & remembering the things he said so vividly - it is getting Spooky. There are the other places he talked about Issaquah & North Bend - that is where the man lived I have been trying to find - I thought it was further away...I thought the man lived in Spokane, but this is where he lived. This is where the man lived - the one I needed to find. In Colorado, Duane enquired about the Father of a co-worker.Wanted to know if he was still JUMPING. The man replies - his father didn't do that anymore and referenced his age and health. I kept looking for this guy thinking he had lived in Spokane - and I do not know why. Be patient with me as I try to get this where I must go. You guys may have to remind me later where I stopped - and / or if you even care for my telling this story. No ONE is going to believe it, but it really happened. I found Duane's links to the past and NOW I need someones help in finishing this. That link then brought me to the realization I had searched for yet another link - in the wrong place all of these yr. Doing this exercise to explain a link I found recently and what happens - another link appears - all because of a good map. I need some help with some research on this. Finding & searching for part of Duane's history leads to the answers of another part. I didn't expect this! Now I will never get back on track! This is ALL starting to MAKE TOO MUCH sense - all because of a GOOD map. Airports, Indian Reservations, VORS, airstrips, towers, pipelines, powerlines, The Boys. The amazing thing is all of this in right in the FBI's backyard! OHMYGOD! The ONLY way to GET away with a CRIME - is to go right BACK at the THEM! Duane actually said this many times - But perhaps there should be another express. Duane trained for what he did right under the noses of the FBI office in Seattle WA. With all of these contacts Duane had to the area - HOW did the FBI NOT find what I have found? I can't put his prints on the plane. I can't put his DNA on the plane. I put Duane Weber in their own backyard. How many of the GUYS have confessed to being Cooper? Is this ALL just a BIG joke or has the FBI actually been ordered - HANDOFF! The proof was in their own damn backyard. Now I want to know were WEBER went those 5 hours he disappeared in WA. Who did he go see and where did he go. Check the CA obituaries. Everyone dieing off - I still think about Karen Truitt. I have a lot to tell you guys so I will just start with the basics. Spoke to JT tonight - HE claims I rented a car in 2001 when I went out for the documentary - WELL, that never happened. I was with the crew and at their mercy. They did extend my ticket for a day (I paided the 100's) it took to do so. A family in WA had offered to help me and I took them up on their offer. I had been in contact with the woman as she contacted me after Margie did her article earlier that yr. The son of one of the woman offered to chauffer myself, his mother, his aunt and I forget the relation of the other lady. He worked in law enforcement and gave up a day with his kids for his mother to help me. We picked up the River Lady and then we found the site across from the PDX Duane had taken me to. The man was going to take me to the Lewis River, but I wanted him to let me follow my sense of direction and he did. I had him drive toward Washougal and described what I had seen in the reverse. Well, the turn was right into Washougal. You guys know all about the rest of that trip. Lake LaCames, the farm across the lake, the mansion, the caretaker, Green Mt (which JT has denied all of these yrs), the cemetaries, the fishing cabins that where no longer there, but there was a large red build which when I went back in 2010 was no longer there and all of that area the Lake had consumed and an abundance of trees and the undergrowth. Amazing what 10 yrs can do. JT denied the lake existed until I went back in 2010 and found it - even then the acknowledgement was cursive. Shorty after that he depart from the thread except an occasional appearance. JT now claims I rented a car in 2001 and I told him NO he had it mixed up with the 2010 trip. Well, Jerry never makes a mistake! RIGHT! I had called him for assistance on some new developements, but after his starting in on old stuff - I just hung up! So I decided to start posting about some things I contacted the FBI about. My posts will not be about whatever is going on in the thread, but hope that one or all of you will finally understand the things I have told for yrs. & recent revelations. I sent the FBI information about this - but realized they will NEVER understand what I am trying to say. Since I had posted things that I find impossible to search for - perhaps some of you will be able to retrive things I said in the past regarding some of these things that now are very important. I sent it to the FBI, but since my words make no sense to anyone but myself, I will try to do this in short posts for the next few days. 377, you scare the hell out of me! Since being in this thread since 2006 I have heard and read many of stories on DZ and in he media I might never have noticed before. You guys have to have nerves of steel! You are one of the few jumpers who posts to this thread on a regular basis, so be careful. There are jumpers who read the thread and drop in once in awhile to let us know how it really is and to help us get our facts straight. Some of the Whuffo posters are quick studies and get their facts correct - me I just sit those out and try to understand what is being said. I still have only seen ONE chute in person....an old WW11 Chute in a museum in Pensacola...it was a special WW11 expo when Duane was still alive...he pointed the chute out to me. My focus is not and has never been the chute - just to try to put the pieces of what Duane told me over an 18 yr period into some kind of order and for it to make some kind of sense! I have learned to respect and admire those who actually jump out of a plane with what I consider a re-inforced umbrella. My brother actually did this jump off the roof of our barn in KY with his make shift chute (can't remember now if it was a sheet or an umbrella). Do NOT know if our Daddy ever found out about my brother's little venture. Infact I need to call him and ask him about that this week. Georgie Porgie - PLEASE REFRAIN from putting me in the same classification as BK, RMB and Cop148. Remember the story I tell is about a man I lived with for 18 yrs and a man whose past was tainted. Weber did tell me the things I have repeated. Otherwise - I would NOT be in this damn soap opera regarding Cooper/Weber. Also Weber is the only one of them who actually confessed and who knew parts of the story it was impossible to know if he had NOT been Cooper. The things I told the FBI in the very beginning - some of that WAS NOT common knowledge and NOT in the only source I had at my disposal with a 95% fictional book by Max Gunther! REMEMBER when I picked up that phone and called the FBI it was May 25, 1996 - one yr and 2 months after Duane died and What I read in those first 13 pages before making that damn phone call to the FBI is all I knew....other than my memories from the things Duane had told me and shown me in 1979. I would then read a few more pages and was back on the damn phone to the FBI. Therefore MR. Georger - KEEP me out of that classification! I am nice to you but I do have my LIMITS! Perhaps you need to ASK the FBI if they recorded those first few phone calls I made - NO way I knew all the stuff I told them...unless I learned them from the things Duane told me and showed me! JUST so you guys KNOW - Lyle told me he didn't know if KC was Cooper. He "just thought it MADE a GOOD Story" and the idea did NOT come to him until he was watching some special on TV about Cooper. He said this in a conversation back before Blevins even wrote his story. I think it was Skip who put me inc ontact with him - but, Blevins DID not come until later. I specifically asked Lyle why he sent the letter to a producer - Note the letter to the producer ended up on Skip's desk? Evidently the producer forwarded it to Skip. ONLY Skip knows how all of this transpired, but this is my memory of the site Skip had and my conversations with Lyle BEFORE Blevins EVER entered the picture. I would have this SAME conversation with Lyle 3 times. The first before Blevins ever entered the picture. The other when Blevins wrote his book when I was so ticked off at how I felt Blevins had co-erced elderly people into making statements that made fools out of them....not things they personally knew and went to the FBI with. It was a seed planted and then nutured for ALL the wrong reasons - just a story! The last time was just a few months ago when ALL of this "S" hit the fan in the thread and I decided to do something about it! Three conversations with Lyle regarding his initial reasoning and why he did it and how he did it. Basically the same thing in all three conversations! We did talk about OTHER things - such as Lyle's knee surgery. I did NOT make my - questions the main reason for calling - but for clarification and to ask why and how the story got changed....he did remember the radio program at that time. This is all so silly! I have more serious things to worry about. I made a BIG boo and sent a confidential email to parties it should not go to. I called AOL and there is NOT way to unsend it. It is pouring the rain here (again). Seems like we have had a LOT of rain this yr - wonder what that is going to do for our winter. HOPE it get Cold cold cold this yr. October is just around the Corner....we could still get a storm and the late one are always BAD!. Hurrican Donna in 1960 was a lat huricane, but it went right up thru the Central part of FLORIDA - where I was living. I was VERY pregnant and alone on my first Hurricane. Husband was OFF someplace GAMBLING! At least if we get a OCT storm - the heat is not so UNBEARABLE till power is restored and that was 8 day after Ivan here on the coast line in 2004. I THINK Ivan was in OCT. See what I mean - my memory is starting to go by the way side. Remember these 2 pics, they distantly connect another individual questioned in regards to Cooper. Duane was born June 18, 1924 in Lorrain, Ohio. Another child was born during that time...the 2 women developed a relationship that would last the rest of their lives. Hell, I CANNOT get both pics to post. When Duane's parents moved to CA in 1943 it was to be near these friends. Old friends from the war and thru the great depression. There were 3 guys who enlisted together and 2 of them stayed close for the rest of their lives. Duane's father died in 1954 in CA. I am calling the date from memory - but, I no longer feel like looking things up - you guys aren't interested in. So what is the Zodiac all about? OH, NO! I never met her, but she had made a request of me that was NOT in my power to give her. She wanted to talk to Tina - she wanted to apologize for anything her father might have said in a rude manner as he was drinking. I met her after she found a way to contact me and we communicated by email and an occasionally a phone call. She had a message she wanted me to give to Tina. If Tina's location has NOT changed would some one send me a picture that was on the thread. I couldn't and wouldn't grant her wish in life - Now the least I can do is deliver the message she wanted Tina to know. Maybe Tina will open it and see the woman and know she just wanted closure and say a prayer for her. I am sorry I am crying - this was so unexpected. I just spoke to her a few wks ago. I knew she wasn't well and she didn't tell me. She told me the last time we spoke that she had bought Norman a car and the most expensive thing was the garage slot at the apartments for it. There is NO family to grieve for her - just Norman....She kept repeating to me to be sure Tina got her message - I guess she knew it was a matter of time - as her health issues were worse than mine and yet she was relatively young - I believe she was still a teenager at the time of the Skyjacking. Jo will summarize this ONE last time for U. Gray had the sense to back off AFTER he wrote basically a news article. He did NOT write a book about the man- he wrote a HUMAN INTEREST article for a Magazine. A LOT of difference between what Gray did and what U did. Look at all the crap I have about Weber! I would say this means Flight 305 was on a path EAST of the Interstate 5 freeway. If you believe this to be not true, than I suggest going to the source and asking. BULL! WEll, Bruce you KNOW the answer so why did you ask it. The co-Pilot is a very low keyed soft spoken man - he talks to people he does NOT have to worry about being confrontal. He knows the story of how you approached Tina - and I can assure you nothing like that will be allowed to happen again. If and when they decide to speak to anyone - it will be all together or not at all. The only one who might speak on his own is the Co-pilot - but not is he knows who you are. Could be there are 10 minutes they will NEVER talked about to anyone and never will! They did NOT know what kind of Bomb Cooper had - if he was going to leave it on the plane or throw it out or take it with him. DO ANY OF YOU think they ACTUALLY took the PLANE over very populated areas if they thought the BOMB was still on the plane. Once they knew Cooper was gone surely someone went back to make sure the bomb was not still on board. YOu guy will speculate about this till the end of time. We have the Canadians here in our area for 3 to 4 months every yr. as they like this area since it is not as populated as other areas. This particular part of the gulf get a lot seniors and they own most of the condo. When they come I feel like I belong - do not know why - just that the beach is cooler and yet for us seniors it is just right. The only time I go to the beach is when our neighbor from Canada come down. They SOUND just like us. One can spot a New Yorker in a heart beat, but not a Canadian. I keep some of my family Dr.s business card so they have a local senior Dr. the can use and we have two urgent centers. Last yr I even gave someone the name of a dentist they needed to see. Every yr there is a large welcoming party for them - they pic up lots of coupons and maps and other information they might need if this is their 1s trip. It gets so hot here in the summer I wish I could go to Canada with them at least for July August and Sept. If I was younger and healthier - I would love to do a trade off those 3 months in Canada - I have a large spare bedroom with it's own bath and I live in a very good area 1 1/2 miles from the bay and then another mile to the beach over the bridge to the most beach - 13 miles of reserve land that cannot be built on but there are some great places to go to the beach in privacy along those 13 miles. Well, for starters get it STRAIGHT what was said between myself and Bill in 2004. Portland was not mentioned. but VANCOUVER was. He could see the lights (haze) of Vancouver to his right! I am not a pilot so you figure out what that meant. Our conversations was about the places Duane took me and what I saw and they were on target with what he said. Now I am NOT going there again - as I have discussed this before and when I do I am misquoted as above. There was a written accounting of our conversation and i am not going to try to remember it at this point in time. It contradicts what you guys have claimed - I do remember one thing - Trout Airport. Authorities and others know where that plane crossed the river....and why! But I was reamed up one side and down the other over that by JT - so I just do NOT say anything about if any more. He has a way to filter unwanted calls. There is a lot going on in their lives and the last thing they needs is an intrusions. I do have some brief communications we made by email & and we have spoke by phone - only a handful of times in all of these yrs. There is ONLY one person on this thread he might talk to and I expect this person has communicated with him already - Robert99. Not knowing Robert99 personally, but having spoke to the co-pilot by phone and by email it is my opinion out of all the personalities on this thread since 2006 that Robert 99 is the most likely but at this date - even that is slim to none. I know that the co-pilot wanted to come see me and the last time we spoke - we both shared that thought one more time, but life is an unexpected challenge for some us in our 70's. My last contact with him was after the Jefferson pic of Duane was posted. I sent that to him, using it as the background - it was impressive and he was impressed. I do NOT remember right now his response, but do remember - he did NOT see the skyjacker. He was impressed with the picture and the comparisons - but, I do not know if he shared them with the rest of the crew or if they keep in contact. I keep my distance because I have been in his shoes. Remember he is a cancer survior himself. If and When he is ready to speak he will - and he may not know the forum is still active or the lenght of it....nor does he care at this stage of his life. YOU GUYS have been very busy. Some VERY interesting conversations going on, but if anyone has the information I need please post it. I have some tests tomorrow and my time here is 7:20 PM and I do NOT feel very well at all. I have a TEST tomorrow, but the way I feel right this moment - I could be in the ER before the night is out. My last experience with the ER in my locality was not good. Hopefully I will feel better in a little while and if I do I will check to see if anyone has the answer to my stupid old question. Really do NOT want to interfer with what you guys are doing - but, it sound like you all are really making some progress. People like myself and Blevins need to sit out for awhile. The Question and the Reason. Duane mentioned the building of the VOR....its original installation. I need to know - WHO did the Construction and then the Installation of the equipment. Was Weber involved with THE BOYS who built it or installed it & its working components? WHAT yr was it built and what were the working dates regarding maintence? What company did the maintence of the equipment? What company built the VOR? Was it AWARE? Thank You, if I don't check back in later on tonight for the answer, I will when I feel like it. Unusual for me to be posting this early so you know that I am NOT feeling well. Going to wait for awhile before I take a pain pill because sometimes lieing down helps.
