Jo, The use of the word "Geronimo" came into general use by paratroopers when they went out the door of the jump aircraft. Supposedly, it started when one particular paratrooper, after seeing a movie about the real "Geronimo" Indian warrior, spontaneously yelled the name and other paratroopers started doing the same. I seriously doubt if the CIA would be yelling the name to indicate that a mission had been accomplished. And simply yelling the name doesn't make Duane or anyone else a paratrooper. Training does that and Duane didn't have any. Robert99 WELL, I suggest you get a copy of the 60 minutes program last Sunday. I didn't see all of that program, but I heard the words CIA and those who will never be named and that GOT my attention. I did NOT say Duane was a paratrooper or had the training. The brother said Duane had jump training whatever was meant by that. I believe John's information came from a PI by the name of Tosaw! The one used by the FBI I saw looked nothing like the Duane I and others knew....there was no exchange of photos. Only in the last few yrs did I mailed a package of photos I had acquired to her address, but never knew if she viewed them or trashed them or they went unopened and/or intercepted. I called her number when I found out what Cook and Smith were up to. I felt responsible for them finding her although I didn't give the phone number or address to either of them. I figure if Cook wanted it bad enough he could work for it so I told him "If you can find her divorce records you can find her". It was common knowledge she had divorced in CA. - Cook is an attorney. Never forgot the posting when someone in the thread claimed to have spoke with Tina's ex husband. HELL, the person did NOT even have his name correct - so how could he have spoke to him on the phone. This is how GALEN COOK found Tina and God only knows I wish I had NOT told him what to look for. I have a letter he wrote telling me about his suspect - that was no suspect - it was cut out of an old college album. Does anyone know how many suspects he has had? LOTS! He got very irate with me saying I had promised him her contact information in exchange for a picture of his then suspect....well, his suspect was no suspect...just a clipping out of a college or business album no name no age. The clipping he sent could NOT have been Cooper as the apparell worn was not properly dated...nor was the haircut and over all appearance - the man if alive would have been too young to be Cooper. By the way I still have his letter and the picture he sent. You are right that this has swallowed me up. It has taken 17 yrs out of my life....but, I allowed it - because I knew Duane was NOT lieing to me. If he was lieing to me - he did it in bits and pieces over an 18 yr relationship and marriage. HIGHLY inconceivable a person could ever do this - unless they needed to tell SOMEONE, but could ONLY TELL bits and pieces. If he had let me know before he died - he knew he would die in a prison or cause harm to anyone else who might have been involved... He told me things in the hospital I did NOT understand & I turned a deaf ear & the morphine had taken over & he kept talking about the Van - well, whatever was in that van - was found by someone else or removed before I could find it. I turned a deaf ear to what he was saying - why he said "Oh, Fuck - Let it DIE with Me". I have been torn between many things. Government action versus lone man....if as a lone man he had had government connections in the past - connections they would have recognized...why it was necessary to use only prison shots of Weber that could NOT be connected to the skyjacking? Whether the cover up was part of a project or if it was afterward because of "other" things this man may have been involved in, only those involved would know. Remember every time I posted about AWARE - not one raised eyebrown! The subject matter had nothing to do with CIA actions in a specific time frame. One word use by Duane Weber only one time in our entire marriage...was a trigger. Our last day in Seattle Duane disappeared and returned to the room very late - we had a banquest that evening. Before we went down stairs - with his drink in his hand I made a picture as he took the stance and called out "GERONIMO". Hell I didn't know that was a CIA expression of Mission Accomplished. The only time in our marriage he ever used that word, Duane had been to see an OLD friend in Seattle that afternoon, but never discussed it with me - I even suspicioned it was an old girl friend. But, memory is a strange thing - the name he mention was buried in my memory. I had NO idea what that name was connected to - and forgot the name until I heard it being use just in the last few weeks. Perhaps why the phone number was given to me - perhaps the only thing an individual who actually knew the REAL Cooper story could do for me. The communication was by email and the person was trying to help in the only way that person could help. How that person obtained my email way back then - just before or after I posted on this thread - perhaps is NOT mystery. I expect that is HOW he got my personal email address was when I first register to the DZ. I believe I actually spoke to this person whose REAL name if I am 100% was correct would NEVER be revealed to anyone except the FBI. I managed ONE time to contact the person by his real name (a man Duane had told me about and a man he knew).....I was told he was pushing to try to make certain things public, but he died shortly there after. He did NOT admit to being Clampett, but knew WHO I WAS! That alone told me I did find the RIGHT man. I have not to my knowledge made this public and will NOT until I am given permission to do so...by the FBI and others. I have waited patiently for many yrs. I would READ about his death and managed to contact his brother - he could not tell me if Clamplett was his brother, but also knew who I was. He told me he could not tell me for sure if it was his brother - but, it was something his brother would have done. Evidently the brother when he contacted me using RobbieClampett - knew he was dying. RobbieClampett was HIGH UP in a certain aspects of our GOVERNMENT! He was hoping (I believe) that I would contact Tina and that she would ID Weber - but that just did not happen. Then again - the FBI and other's would say I am delusional. Well, I did not imagine the email from Clampett and the phone contact with a man who Duane claimed to have known and who REALLY was....a high ranking official with in our government. Anything outside of this statement is classified. NOW do some of YOU understand WHY I have fought this battle to the very end! I actually spoke with the man Duane claimed to have known - a man so far up the chain of command - NONE of you would ever have believed me and he did tell me "This conversation never happened"....along with something along the lines of "Be patient". If the government eavesdropped on all of their employees they are aware I did have this conversation with this official. Regardin the FBI and the officials of the US Government - I have been PATIENT long enough! Time to TELL the truth! I am making this post because I am having some serious problems - not any thing wrong with my mind, but my body is giving out. Time for the Government to come clean. Maybe... Pensions are governed by rather strict federal laws. They can't be unilaterally canceled by a former employer for speaking out. Someone who had that happen would have no problem getting a lawyer to take their case on a contingent fee. Just the threat of a press conference is all it would likely take to get it restored. Retaliatory actions by employers (even govt agencies) against whistle blowers pisses juries off and can result in multimillion dollar verdicts far exceeding the value of the cancelled benefit. 377 You speak of TODAY not 1950's and 1960's. Pensions as I was using it was a catch all. It was an amout of money set away in a fund thru an entity to provide for deeds done - by those who could never be known. Some of those monies remained in a safe deposite box under the name of John Collins. A safe deposit box I was UNABLE to access because I could NOT prove I was the widow of John Collins. Strange communications and one of the strange trips made in 1989. I thought something he said strange and did NOT repeat it, but always wondered why he made the statement. This was when he supposedly went to AL to be evaluated for a transplant. But he also made mention of a pension of 50K - and the government. I said - you were not retired military! He provided an evasive remark regarding lawsuits against the government. I filed this away with other things, but recently there was a discussion on this thread - about finding a mention of a lawsuit by a Duane Weber in AL. The company was a government contractor.....think about this - could that government contractor have been a shield for the CIA to provide security for Duane and others? THINK! Duane and some other guys he knew maintained JOBS with companies that COULD not hire excons. These guys worked and were on the payroll of these other companies, They had retirement and health benefits - extremely good insurance benefits. These guys were NOT super sales persons - but they did their best and NOT one of them went without. Everyone of these guys had a place to turn to if they got in trouble...hence the number that was in Duane's hidden place and the code number - a place he was supposed to call if he ever got in trouble. I didn't figure this out until recently. NOW I know when I called that number after Duane die - the code was the Army and Navy intermingled - so they would not forget it. The person who answered when I wanted to know what the number belonged to told me there were several people who lived in the building and asked if I had a name. He may have asked if I had a number....I was supposed to give that Code number - HOW STUPID I was, but that was before I found out who Dan Cooper was. I told Mr. H. about it and he said it didn't mean anything. After coming to this thread - I tried to call that number and I forget now what I was told. Did I post about this when I did it? Probably I did. Somethings I have forgotten, but strange how memories are unlocked. I didn't get this until I was typing this post. The tipster gave me her phone number and her address.... and the source was NOT traceable. I have a suspicion about who it was but it was a shot in the dark. The person who found the Divorce record is NONE of your BEE's WAX, and it was NOT the person same as the person who provide the contact information. MY GUY who was doing some reseach for me FOUND the Divorce record. A completely different set of circumstance and at different time. DO you KNOW how long had the info on Tina before I broked down and contacted her? NO and you don't give a DAMN! I never knew who the tipster was, but I had my gut feelings...and that was all. Wording, terminology, way things are phrased - that tells you a lot about a posters or author of an email. Maybe it was SNOWMMAN! Damn that doesn't work - I didn't KNOW Snowmman back in 2003 or 2004. My conversation with anyone regarding you was brief and you didn't hang out - you were asked to leave. Then you made insulting remarks about them and about me in this thread and else where. Yea, I am loud and obnoxious, but I am also Crazy, Delusional and Off My Rocker - but you are a sick LAB rat. I do not feel I am connected to the principals in the case. I just ask questions - and I do NOT get in their face like YOU! YOU discredit YOURSELF! YOU do not need any help with that! I posted the same pic Twice - sorry. No pattern - tonight I CURSED GOD! I was angry! That is totally unlike me. I just let it all out - and not even God heard me! Just the walls of the house and if the neighbors had heard me I am sure the Sheriff would have showed up! Nothing I do lately is RIGHT! Nothing, not even the simple things....Good thing there is NO one but me to worry about.... Sleep - what is that? Dreams - don't remember any lately! Fun - too much pain for fun. Eating - when I am hungry. Cooking - forgot how. TV - not often. Out to Eat - one person to a table. Laugh - only LOL's on thread Cry - Well, I did tonight To you guys this is just a mystery, but to me because I lived with this man for 18 yrs - I know who and what he was. I have NOT made up one word of the things I have told. I explored the possiblities of other things to find explanations for Duane's actions and words - and other subjects with you guy. All I hear coming back at me from every direction is COOPER COOPER COOPER & more COOPER. NOT one of you really want the truth because if the case was solved then you would have to find something else to do. Those I only met once or twice - I would not know if I walked into them on the street. We would not recognize each other...from a table 42 yrs ago. Would we recognize each other from a photo not taken at the reunion or at the banquet table? Probably not! Even if we had engaged each other in a conversation about something one of our relatives did that was funny or rememberable...would we remember each other? A casual conversation at a banquet table - would you remember me or would I remember you 42 yrs later? Not hardly - even if we shared photos taken on that banquet night and we had only met on that night - how many of you would recognize someone you met 42 yrs ago - at a banquet table. Cooper is just one of those faces at the banquet table 42 yrs ago...only 3 of persons in the room knew there was a bomb. Would any of us be able to pick out the man who had the bomb in a line up - 42 yrs later or identify a picture of him 42 yrs later. NOT HARDLY! The last 17 yrs have been futile and without prints or dna or something that puts a subject ON THAT PLANE no Subject will be declared as Cooper! What do we want? What are we wanting? The artist Rose also mentioned this and was unable to project an image to suit the witnesses. It could have been a mannerism to keep a cheap prosthetic in his mouth. I do not have pictures of Duane doing this - he could sure throw that lower lip into a a pout, but always posed for a picture. It was a one sided pout.
