That has always been one of the major problems with Jo's info. She can be dead-right about some things, she can find info, she talks to a zillion people, over the years she has been one of the very best at digging out information some of which comes from principles in Washington .... and if she doesnt have something she will turn Heaven and Earth over to try and find it. Its no wonder H took her seriously. The problem is her net brings some really bogus information also. And the info she has never seems connect as she hopes it will, especially confirming Duane as being Cooper. If Jo was a pure researcher she might be irreplacable. When you (377) and Jo got into this topic of 727's being used for drops in Nam I sat by saying nothing, because I already knew Jo was right. It was just a matter of finding a document to document it, vs Jo's anecdotes, or mine... It always comes down to proof. G. Thank you, unfortunately since I acquire information and file it away in 16 ft plus of documents I can't go back and find the info again. I know it is there, but NOT where. I acquired that information in 1996, but I was aware of it prior. but could never tell you when or how. I believe a certain poster here posted that 'mythology' as a fact, claiming that someone who worked in the insurance industry would know that. I'm not sure how to do a search with enough terms to verify that without reading through hundreds of posts though. well I provided the link above for the court case where northwest had to go to court to get the money from the insurance guys. I came to the forum looking for help and all I have gotten is WHY he couldn't be Cooper. NOT one of you has tried to figure out the important things, HOW AND WHY HE HAD THE TICKET AND THE STUB AND BAG. The only thing you all say is I am dislusional and horrible horrible things. Not one person can offer any reason for the items I held in my hands other than to say - I was lieing or that I am dislusional. NOT one person has made a concerted effort to identify that man (in Salt Lake City) and I have held this photos for yrs knowing it was important. but not how - knowing it is a clue to his past. NOT one person is willing to help me with the missing yrs. Not one person defends the fact that the FBI uses the statement of 1998 as evidence they (the FBI) did a complete investigation of Duane - and if they did WHY did the agent lie to me about his not being in McNeil or in the Army - when I had document in my hands to the contrary. Not one of you has explained why the FBI told me that the serial number on Duane's Army file belonged to Wavy Greene. No one wants to address these things. Not one of you. Not one of you talks about the 3 government employees (Federal Directors for General Services Administaration) who where on that plane and taken off separately from the other passengers. Not one of you knows about a letter one of these men wrote to the FBI. Not one of you knows tht the letter acknowledged by the FBI was alter from the original letter. These men boarded in Missoula. Things the FBI wants things to go away and this forum has been a vehicle for these things to become things of the past - but, I will not die without putting these things out there to be studied - these are the things you guys need to explore..not WHY Weber couldn't be Cooper. But, what is wrong with the whole damn situation revolving around the 1971 skyjacking. None of you are BRAVE enough to go up against the government - NOT one of you. STOP THIS NOW. YOU ARE KILLING ME - Duane was NOT diabetic, Duane did not have poliio. Duane did not have a limp in 1971. In my 17 yrs with the man I was unaware of any limp. It was OTHERs who notice he walked differentlly. Duane had one hip just as I did higher than the other which required an adjustment in the hem line of the pants - the same as I did. I do not know if he had this problem in 1971. Right now I am crying and hurting - you people are CRUEL and MEAN. You make up things to say about Duane. How many time do I HAVE to tell you that Duane did not use glasses to drive for distance work - it was only things in a room that were our of focus - in the early yrs. Later he had to go to bifocals because there were changes in his eyes. But in those early yrs he didn't like doing outside things with his glasses - because he could see things in a distance better without his glasses on. We could be on a walk or riding thru Wyoming and he would see thing I couldn't see with my glasses on. He could always spot the deer and the fox I never got a glance of...this was in 1978 thru 1980. Duane died in 1995 and I donated almost everything to the Goodwill. Remember he was dead for 1 yr and 2 months before I knew what he meant by "I'm Dan Cooper". All I had left were a few items that didn't sell in a garage sale and some momentos I was keeping. I do have the script and if I can get to feeling well enough I will find it. Tom YOU are wrong - Duane was far sighted - I was married to the man for 17 yrs - I should know something about him. This is the typical thing that takes facts and twists and twists and twists. NO one out there wants the truth - they just want the myth. As for the Weber Sydrome - Gossett, Christiansen and Cooper all came after I went pubic. Why am I treated like someone with absolutely no rights - and yet, none of you knew Duane and can pretend to know more about him than I do. Tom, if you can't keep an open mind about Weber then your analysis of the money will be tainted. You have let some of these people in this forum influence you - and you don't know who they really are. If you can believe that EVERY one of them is a specialitst in this or that - then you are MORE naive than I am. As it stands you and I are the only 2 individuals in this forum who are actually known to all. All the rest are just words - sometimes mean and putting me down and other times understanding what I have been through. I f they were in my shoes and they actually held specific things in their hands in regards to a crime that would later be confessed to by their relative or friend - WHAT would they be doing? The only time that was mentioned was in Tosaws Book - He did do a little fictionalization. I asked Himmelsbach about that fact several yrs ago. Tosaw also revisited the witness and perhaps they added this at that time or maybe it was something "extra" added as most writer do take literary license to fill in the voids. I never found it in any witness account. For some reason this caught my eye yrs ago - before I had a computer in 2000. A time when I had to rely on the library and any written accounting I could locate and some from friends who had computers and what I was able to do at the office after everyone left. We are not just talking schematics - we are talking exposure - a brother who was a consultant for Boeing overseas and I have NO idea what was in the things Duane saw - but they were accessible to Duane because he had access to the brothers home...when the brother was NOT there. As I have said before - the FBI did not visit that brother and if they did he didn't tell me - obviously if this interview DID happen the agents didn't ask the right questions. Just as they didn't have a clue what to ask the ex-wife. The brother would have been the only one able to tell us how much information Duane has access to. A composite is a judgement call by the artist and the witnesses. A composite cannot be used for the purpose of comparing a photo of any given witness. This requires the witness to make an identiy by being shown multiple picture of all suspects with unknowns thrown in. Rose was a composite artist. The Shaffner artist was a TV artist.. Look at the difference in all of the composites and tell me what you are say can be applied with any degree of accuracy. 5 composites and none of them look alike. The witness making a description from standing while Cooper was seated. Shaffner saw Cooper sitting and she was standing. Tina saw Cooper from that position and also from sitting beside him. NO DIRECT contact was made FACE to FACE standing - that has been reported (in fact this factor is omitted from all of the witness reports). The angle -view the withesses had of Cooper are very important. If you take a person whose forehead has a slant to it (as ROSE tried to depict), one will have a dfferent perception as to many different details. Standing face to face is another ball of wax. I have a REAL old picture that Duane had in his hide things - I never knew what it meant - and these people seem to be family members. There was a photo posted on the DZ and I just let it ride and I don't even know where to find it. It was a picture of a landing and there was man with glasses on helping with the chute on the ground. When I find the picture Duane had - I will scan it and only focus on this one person. I need for you California guys - to try to remember where you saw that man and what picture I am refering to...at the time I ignored what I thought I was seeing. A diagnosis of eyes from OLD pictures is not going to cut it. Even with the old script which I have to dig thru files to find it would be impossible to factor in these things because everyone is different - eyes do not age the same in everyone. With the old script you have to factor in 22 yrs of living. The oldest drivers license is 1983 - and that is restricted to correctiive lens, but I prior to that I don't have anything. I spent my entire Christmas Eve trying to do some photos - 6 on a page - but I do not have the capablilities to do it and I am tired of paying someone to help me. The old composite being compared to Duane is not appropriate... I knew he was Cooper before I ever saw the Newer Composite and I have never declared he looked like the old Bing Crosby composite. That Old Bing Crosby is what the FBI and the media promoted all of these yrs and that is why NO ONE ever identified Cooper. Why would I keep right on giving things to you guys when all you do is badger me - I have said I will release the eye information when it is looked at and I have had the time to speak with the appropriate individuals...to find out if you can really do what you claim. Everything I say is turned around and misquoted so why would I want to share anything with anyone anymore... Not one of you have the guts to face me in person and actually look at these things.
