Georger it does not necessarily need to be FBI - after all the FBI is not and will not do anything with it. Remember I do not have a contact number for you and do not know who you really are. No Sluggo did not provide this map - I had it before I ever met Sluggo about 2 1/2 yrs ago although I had communicated with him by email for several yrs. ================ I will provide that only to an FBI agent of record. Carr had the name and the phone number. He was not out of Portland and was related to one of the women. He was undercover at that time and sacrificed a day with his children to chauffeur me around with 3 other women. Using a very very old black and white map I have I marked the furtherest points the FBI called the probable LZ for Cooper and this is what fell between those 2 lines. 1. Two Power lines going South in almost paralel lines and becoming closer to gether as they approach the Columbia. 2. Southwest of Bald Mountain a unidentified Landing Strip, 3. Another landing stip near Charter Oaks. Would these Landing Stips have lights? 4. At King Corner West of the DZ is a converging of pipelines...with a leg going to Whipple Creek. 5. The pipe line crosses the power line South East of Dollar Corner and far West of Battleground. NOTE: It is at this point there are several convergences of pipelines and power lines (an excellent siting point if Cooper was able to see them and was familiar with the area.). 6. At this point the Eastern most power line and the Pipe line cross is between Dollar corner and Battleground. 7. Just below the converging of the Power line and Pipeline is the "Hat" thing (can never remember the technical word for it). This "hat" is West of Meadow Glade. 8. As the area approaches Brush Praire the Power line has to cross a rail road track which goes into the Western section of the Fourth Plaines crossing over Orchards into Vancouver. 9. Another marker is the Scholls airport with was supposedly right under the 727. Of course we all know there waa another landing strip East of this area and not part of the airport. 10. Both of these powerlines intersect between Orchards and the Hazel Dell area (out of the possible LZ). The map is a 1979 1:100 000-scale metric topographic map compliled from USGS 1:24 000 and 1:62 5000 dated 1953- 1978. Planemetry revised from aerial photograpsh taken in 1975. This is a U.S. Geologial Surve map for sale yrs ago in Denver, Co and Reston, Virginia. I have never found out who sent me this map in 2001 after my trip to WA. The driver (an off duty law enforcement agent provided me with a map, but I don't think it was this one). I believe this one arrived by mail after I got home....when I voiced my frustration over Jerry telling me none of the stuff Duane showed me existed and this map also shows the LaCames / Washougal area. And there in a nutshell is your whole case and your whole involvement in this Cooper matter; from beginning to end. But you have a lot of company. Its just too bad none of them can talk outside their circles of delusion! Good luck. DID you ever think about WHY some did NOT pursue this with the FBI and why they chose to step away? I will give you PART of the answer - because they were not only chastized by the FBI - their information was fragmented as was the uncollective knowledge of the investigative agents - assigned to interview them about their subject or suspect. [Blue]Information collected by a local site is then reported to an agent who is assigned the Cooper case. The case agents never had the time to try to put it all together and treated each one as a separate claim rather than Collectively. What needs to be done now is bring ALL of these individuals together - for several days (with each agreeing to put aside their own personal agenda). They need to see and talk to each other face to face and provide pictures or any documentation they may have acquired. What will happen when you get ALL of these individuals together with each agreeing to be open minded - will be absolution of the Cooper Case. The alternative is as you suggested Georger (we are all delusional). The only reason I am able to put some things together is because I am about 15 yrs younger than others who may still be living who made claims with the FBI about Cooper. Combined - my age and personal interest in the Cooper case and the fact that now the internet is a prevalent means of communication and sharing of information - is the ONLY reason why I have made connections ignored by other for yrs. This does not make me or any of the others delusional. Each of us held a fragment - but when the fragments are collected and put together (a giant puzzle) it takes someone to put all of these pieces in place. If the FBI did what I have done and brought together 4 sources who are still living - they will find a common thread among them and their story (not things known to the media). I have not said Howard Hughes was involved nor that Burnworth was Cooper. Far from it - his name just happened to be connected to the article. I am only interested in this man Meier - and Meier's connections to the CIA and other things. The article simply stated Meier was a FORMER AID to Hughes...and that is insignificant. The only part of the story I have ever told that mentions Howard Hughes was the man who used to be a chauffer for him or his company. I met this guy in 1979 or 1980. He had lost his right leg to cancer (so he said). This man was an old friend of Duane's from way back (I don't have a clue what his connection to Duane was). It was not disucssed and if it was, I don't remember it. The man was living in South Colorado at that time. Outside of that Hughes is insignificant. A woman who gave the last name of Meier in the 80's in Miami is all I am interested in right now...but, I think I know who she was and will need to verify it. Another needle in the haystack and since I only have a last name that seems to be a very popular name in the Chicago and Kansas area - nothing seems to fall in place. I did run across the below article and just found it interesting because it does deal with things "of the time" that Duane talked about. Forgot where I found it - so I hope I am not violating any copyriight laws: This is the article: Bellett, Gerald. Age of Secrets: The Conspiracy that Toppled Richard Nixon and the Hidden Death of Howard Hughes. Ogdensburg NY: Voyageur North America, 1995. 320 pages. Gerald Bellett is a reporter for the Vancouver Sun in British Columbia. When John Meier, a former aide to Howard Hughes, moved there from the U.S. in the early 1970s, Bellett began writing about Meier's struggle with the White House, the CIA, and the Howard Hughes organization. This is an authorized biography, and while it helps fill in some historical gaps about Watergate and the Hughes-CIA connection, it is still history as told by yet another insider-victim, with possible axes to grind. It's a bit suspicious. Even though he was wheeling and dealing with the spookiest and most duplicitous people on the planet, it seems that for Meier, these were the good old days. There is not a single mea culpa in this entire book. But another grinding fact is that Meier was a victim of CIA and Canadian collusion to put him behind bars. This included charges of tax evasion, obstruction of justice, and ultimately a charge of murder. He spent five years in prison before prosecutors emptied out their bag of tricks. Meier argues that Watergate was a classic set-up, and it appears that the CIA thought he had a stash of Hughes documents that might prove his point. According to Meier, when he refused to cut a deal with the CIA to produce the documents and keep his mouth shut, his legal problems began. Our small library seems to have problems getting books in for me on loan - so hopefully some of you intelligent individuals can explain to me what this is all about. Who was this Meier and what was he? How old was he - etc. The Meier I am trying to locate - I had no idea had any connections - because it was the married name (I assumed) of the individual I was trying to find background on in relation to a Yacht...Duane and I were guest on. The woman knew Duane very well and they talked about other individuals by name (but I only remember one). Duane also commented about the name she gave her yacht, but I didn't have any reason to retain this information. The man with her I assumed to be her husband was much younger than herself and the address she gave was for Mr. & Mrs. in Chicago. So much I threw away after Duane died - didn't have a clue all this "stuff" might be important someday - at least not until 1 yr and 2 months after he died. The Meire the article speaks of - I need his age/death and names of family members and where he live in the 70's - actually any information I can find that might name a wife, daughter or family member. Pictures would be GREAT - because I remember what this woman looked like in the 80's. All of this search may mean absolutely nothing and I did not think it important until our recent posts regarding Burnworth and Kansas/Chicago activities. In the reciting of Burnworth's story (as scramble as it was) - there were somethings that I needed to explore. I have already worked on part of it - and over stepped a personal boundary line I drew for myself harming others as I did so...therefore I have to go in another direction. Again I know there are those of you who think I speak in riddles and please understand that is usually to protect and not harm others. Only recently have some of you learn the depth of my investigation and about somethings I pushed aside after other individuals indicated the information of no significance in proving if Duane was Cooper or Not. I now realize I should NOT have backed away from these things and have pushed forward yrs ago. I am a pain in the ass to most of you, but know this - if I did not believe in this mission thrust upon me - I would never have spent 14 yrs plus of my life looking for the answers. I have tried to uncover the life and past of man who spoke little of his past during a 17 yr marriage and kept lots of secrets. I have followed a lot of trails to uncover his past - some just disappear and others lead me to other things. Some I kept quiet about - or just mentioned them in passing...the SLC/Alaska pilot was only one those things...I waited patiently - now that I believe he is found (I am not liking the sordid story that is unfolding). I have talked to Mr. X and he was the connection to Burnworth. Since Mr. X is several yrs younger than Burnworth - we may never have been aware of Burnworth had it not been for Mr. X. I just made a very very long post and it went POOF!. I revealed things I have never revealed before and someone didn't want that post made. In summary I told about the pieces of the puzzle and about another woman being introduced to Duane's sister in 1996 as Jo, but it wasn't me. I told what the FBI said to me about souveniers and about privacy issues and about the attorney in Maine whose client thinks her husband was Cooper. She lives is MS or LA. How I felt about how all of this has affected my life and how I felt about the FBI and the secrets. I talked about what I have to loose by telling everything - and the 14 yrs of my life the FBI wasted by not interviewing 8 witnesses and another I just found out who has died. In other words I just wrote a summary of what I spent over an hour composing that went POOF! So maybe another day...this way I won't forget what it was - maybe there will be another day to complete this mission I assigned myself. Another day when my mind is clear and the words flow. I have had a couple of people trying to verify parts of Burnworths interview, but without more detailed information from Burnworth - they are not getting anything of value. This is referencing his ex-wife who died in 1977 due to a riding accident. Surely he has copies of the obituarary or can give a location. We are also trying to track her life - this is essential to make the claims Burnworth stated. Right now we need names of other family members - to trace her origin and to possibly find other members of the family...who may or may not be part of the Mafia connection stated by Burnworth. What we are trying to do is back-track on her and Burnworth just like we did on Duane L. Weber (how we found things the FBI didn't even consider)...such as the Uncle and the chemical background - the FBI had no interest in (which led us to more information) the FBI again did NOT acknowledge regarding the history of Weber. We know that Weber was John Collins in Kansas and worked for Pyramid Life Insurance. We know that Duane had Italian (influencial) connections during this period of time and the man was upset about Duane screwing up. Seems like this person went out on a limb to help him to get the job. We know that Weber spent several months in 1966 in Chicago with his lady of the days (first name was Mary)...while he was on the run from the FBI. The lady of the days claimed she was in Kansas from November of 1971 til Feb of 1972. There is nothing in this that connects to Burnworth or to Bernice unless Burnworth provides us with more detailed information. Burnworth and Weber (Collins) may not be connected at all - but certain factors in the Story Burnworth told - are either co-incidental or deliberately intended to line up with the things I am aware of that the FBI had NO interest in...enough people where aware of these things to document I told the stories to others before I ever went public in 2000......and I have never talked to Burnworth unless he used a different name or my story was told to him by a second party...(the parties who knew the specific material only knew parts of it and they were all trusted individuals). I had phone problems today and was unable to make certain contacts with an individual who has seemed to be hiding something over the yrs. See what happens there. In tracking back to sources the past few day also found out one of the KEY persons the FBI never ever talked to passed away - this man knew Duane as John. There is a lot to be read between the lines in his 2 interviews - but hints of a past similar to Weber's. I also notice connections that were not made obvious, but there indeed. Chicago and Kansas...meeting the father of his childern and his wife of 28 days in Chicago. Back in those days - most women were legally married before producing children and a child born out of wedlock was NOT generally acceptable. Even in the 70's a woman having more than one child out of wedlock labeled her. Of course times have changed and having children outside of the boundaries of a marriage has become acceptable by these young women - we the tax payer in most cases pay the medical bills and support the child and mother...and many time till the child is 18 because the mother never identifies the father even though they at a later date marry the father of the child. Nahh! Need to get off of my soap box - medicaide was the structure that destoried parental responsiblility - and now the rest of us pay for it. Take this for what it is worth: Association with Chicago Duane and I were the Sole Guests on a VERY LARGE yacht in the Fort Lauderdale/ Miami area in the 80's. I only told Himmelsbach and "friends" about this and the "other" little things or connections (private conversations). The following quotes from Wikipedia are: The manipulation and misuse of the Teamsters Central States Pension Fund. There were also allegations that The Outfit was involved in strong-arm tactics and voter fraud at polling places, under Salvatore Giancana in the 1960 presidential election. Along with the voting allegations, The Outfit was involved in a Central Intelligence Agency-Mafia collusion during Castro's overthrow of the Cuban government. In exchange for their help, the Outfit would be given access to their former casinos if they helped overthrow Fidel Castro (Operation Mongoose or Operation Family Jewels). Having failed in that endeavor, and facing increasing indictments under the administration of President John F. Kennedy (JFK), they are subjects of conspiracy theories regarding the JFK assassination, and that of JFK's brother Robert Kennedy. The Outfit controlled casinos in Las Vegas and "skimmed" millions of dollars over the course of several decades. Most recently, top mob figures have been found guilty of crimes dating back to as early as the mid 1960s. I have never spoke to nor communicated with Donald Burnworth, but my sources tells me that Burnworth WAS not arrested for anything in Connection with the Skyjacking of 1971. There are some things in Burnworth's story that parallel with what I have told for yrs and things I never made public . I had a conversation with one person who I related the yacht story to along with the other stories I told about "unusual" activities on the part of Weber and those stories have been repeated only to trusted individuals. I will say I do NOT believe Duane was a part of the Mafia - but he an infiltrator put in place in 1962 under another group - PROTECT - DO NO HARM. Believe if you wish he was the BAD guy - but whatever his assignment was or whatever he was involved in - continued until 1990...when he got his final payment. Burnworth's story leaked like a bucket of water with too many holes in it. Yet, there was some sediment in the bottom of that bucket that needs to be examined - he only had part of the story...but, discredited himself with most of his interview. Never state something about yourself in relation to a crime that is documental. Burnworth was NOT - in jail for 8 days in regard to D.B. Cooper...he may have been in jail, but he WAS not there as a Cooper suspect. There were as Sluggo stated lots of problems with his second hand interview, but he did state things that correlate with things I have stated and other things told only in confidentiality....I don't know where this is going, but I am waiting to hear the magic words. Bring Burnworth here - Tell X to go fish. Georger have you really studied what Burnworth had to say - I have had individuals who have known me for yrs to read this and they got the same drift - that Sluggo did. Also Burnworth's story doesn't add up - I sat down and tried to get a time line on his private life and it didn't work. Remember when a story is told thur a 3rd party - it is impossible for the 3rd party to take it all in. Bruce is pretty good - but, it will take several conversations with this man and documentations to back-up his claims. As I read what Bruce recited - it sounded all to familiar. Somethings I kept to myself and some other things that added to what I knew or had been told over the yrs. His dates didn't work and it sounded to much like my own story. It rambled as I also do. I have requested to be able to communicate with this Burnworth because I have some questions I would NEVER ask of him in this forum or in public. I have also made contacts with certain individuals to reaffirm certain information - I dismissed yrs ago, because I couldn't or refuse to enter that particular realm of Webers life prior to my meeting him. Burnworth even referred to his ex as a Jekell and Hyde as I and others (who have remained private) have been know to refer to an individual in Duane's past. The exploitations within the material provided to Bruce are also in line with the known past of Duane and prior companions. These are things I considered private and have not elaborated on except to those who I can trust in face on conversations or close friends...who do NOT repeat things said in confidence. Perhaps Burnworth is facing health problems and wants to bear his soul or perhaps he has some knowledge unknowingly that connects to the story I have tried to uncover...per things told to me by Duane and others he knew. Perhaps Burnworth just sees a chance to get in on a story already in progress. As for myself - I need to hear more of what this man has to say - face to face - not in this forum or publically. Scott and Scott monitored this thread for ideas and used them in more than one story they wrote for TV. As for X I think he is smart to not let it all out on a forum or thru others - I for one can ATTEST to what this does to your private life and your credibility...both professionally and personally. Professionally it can be suicide. I had NO choice since the FBI would NOT communciate with me and refused to make documentation about Duane's past available to me. The FBI chose to bury Duane's past or NOT investigate it. Until I have learned more from this Burnworth and from sources regarding Duane's past - I make NO judgements on his story. I am waiting for information provided to me about 2 yrs ago to be given to me again. This documentation was given to me sometime ago and I didn't see the need to process it - now I do. As I have said before X said somethings that peaked my interest and then Bruce in telling Burnworth's story also added something to those other 2 items. In a post eons ago Georger you made this post Im rather serious in saying Cooper could have brokered the idea of jumping from a 727 from a number of possible sources, including his own re- invention of the wheel (his own idea born on the spur of the obvious). But, it was common knowledge and common myth that one cold bail from and drop cargo out of a 727. I have not run across any vet with experience who didnt know that or think it, based on something. In fact the knowledge or myth is so wide spread I have thought our discussing it is rather silly. I could be done, and was done as a fact, easily. (I would not even be surprised to find out engineers at Boeing designed the plane so cargo drop could be done! wooops am I revealing something. Since this contact is all news to me - I don't know what to believe....this man will have to tell me something that convinces me of his story. Details he may not want to reveal in a forum...yes, I would like to talk to him.

Mary, the wife of Duane Weber claimed she was in Kansas when the skyjacking happened. ===================== Mary the wife of Duane had also lost custody of her children during the early yrs with Duane. ================= Of course, Not. ====================== Why his story pararells so much of what I have told since 1996. =================== The ticket agent wrote the name Dan Cooper - not Cooper himself as this was discussed in detail when Ckret was here. ================== We all know the TRUE story of how D.B. Cooper came to be the given title for the Skyjacker. ======================= We need to see a picture of Don Burnworth - and does he look anything like the picture I took in SLC and the story that Duane told me about knowing a man who worked the Alaska/SLC routes...while we were in SLC. The Alaska/SLC story by X is what got my attention - and Himmelsbach knows I discussed this with him and it is in my early writings and tapes...before my computer days. ==================== I have told the story about the SEA TAC parking stub and Duane taking me to the back of the Airport to the location the plane was parked...his only comment was that it had not changed much and he did not remember the fence. Today I picked up a piece of glass Duane used as a paperweight. I was looking for a magnifying glass - but this blue piece of glass Duane ALWAYS kept in a desk drawer with the other pieces got my interest. It didn't magnify anything - but, it has a bluish tint 1/2 inch thick. A small piece about 4 x 2 inches in size....I took it to a man in our area who knows about planes and asked him what it was. I had a suspicion what it was, but didn't want to put an idea in anyone's head. He told me what he thought it was. You guys who are familiar with passenger plane construction will know exactly what it is. It may be a sample - but why would Duane Weber be in possession of such a thing.
