I agree since this is the first I ever heard of it. Now, down to business: You guys know how often I have been called a liar by JT. I don't even care to search for his random posts about how BUDDY Buddy he was with Donna and that he would be at the Ariel Tavern this yr. I had a very long conversation with Donna today. The last time I had spoke to her was early this yr 2011). apologizing for not making it to Ariel last October 2010. She understood that Ariel was not part of my research agenda and was the last of my priorities. Today we discussed mutual friends and my visits with them (Oh wouldn't you guys give your eye teeth to know what that was about). NOW 377 that one is a REAL Tease, but one with substance. As for Jerry - He will NOT be at Ariel and he knows he is NOT welcomed there. She has NOT discussed this yrs events with him. Yet, Jerry talks and talks in the thread about his relationship with the proprietor and all of these big plans - NO plans exist between Jerry Thomas and the Ariel Tavern. Anyone who wants to verify this can simply pick up the phone and call her just as I did. Note, I have NOT called anyone a liar and I am only relaying the context of a LONG conversation today. VERY interesting Georger - I guess I missed this when I read the book, but I was not well and trying to read - kept falling asleep and sometimes I couldn't find where I had stopped. Probably missed a few pages. Now this makes me think even more about some of the things I found and makes me wonder - HMMMM? Maybe MOUSE is connected? Maybe that chain and medallion are connected (18X3 +Infinity)? Maybe the picture is connected and the book it was in? Maybe that bag (not the bank bag) was on that plane? Stupid sweater - it was old and ragged and when he died I tossed it. Food - a jar of peanut butter! Who the Hell would have had a jar of peanut butter on a plane. Maybe the stews kept one to make snacks for little kids - NOT likely. Duane and his ex and step daughter told me about the "Johnnie Jar" - seems like Duane had a thing for peanut butter. I never understood the "Johnnie Jar" story. Wonder what the "other things" are? Strange the FBI did NOT find prints if Cooper had a tantrum. Duane habitually shoplifted substantial quantities of Kool Aid which were never consumed. Jo has confirmed this. If we could only connect Duane to Jonestown it would be a grand slam conspiracy home run. JFK, RFK, James Earl Ray and Jim Jones 377 Come on Guys, I am really catching it tonight. Duane was 69 when he took the Kool-Aid. He did some really childish things during that last yr of his life. Habitual? "Just keeping in practice". I often wonder why I didn't question his reply to my dismay regarding the many packets of Kool-aid he proudly present from his jacket pocket. It was child-like and the look on his face was child-like...he was a hard person to get mad at. I swear he could get away with almost anything - he would used that little boy grin and I couldn't stay mad at him. I made a point of going by the store and sitting down with the manager - he understood. Duane always called me "Mommie". Now I am going to bed. It has been a good day, but the memory of "Mommie" just brought tears to my eyes. How could this man have been in prison for so many yrs? I wish I could find someone who knew Duane in prison - to known what he was like from 1950 to 1957 - 7 yrs behind bars (SanQuentin and Folsum) consecutive. Good Night. Very Interesting: You might also find it interesting that My Grandmother was a scholar as was my father and her only son. Their memories were impeachable. As for my own siblings - my brother and I have remarkable memories. We usually have the same memory and they are nundane things no one is ever expected to remember. We just do it. We both scored very very high on every test we ever took. Think about this - minds that can make a perfect score on tests others struggle with. I guarantee you my IQ is probably only a little higher than the average individual....with me it is the ability to remember places and things and time spans - it is like a damn movie playing back in my head...sometime it is scary. I have one memory I have struggled with for most of my life and still can't explain it. There were 2 men (one fat and one smaller). The fat one has a scruffy beard and round face and has on over-alls. He is chasing me and I am some place I was warned to stay out of. I believe I may have been around 6 yrs of age - maybe 7...not much older. My memory blocks out the rest. 1. The Florida State Real Estate Exam 1996. If I had NOT erase two correct answers I would have had a perfect score...never done before. 2. SAT test 1958 - again very high score in certain categories, but one category pulled the average down.... Age and disease is now clouding my memory - even of recent events and words. My memory of the past is still intact, but slowing deteriorating with time. Sometimes it is just that I am tired of remembering and it takes more energy and effort to remember the current events. Also Current event have become more technical, political and complicated - I just don't try anymore....too much trouble. My memory at 3 yrs of age: A casket and my father holding me up in his arm. My grandfather in the casket and the curtains and the stand. My being made to kiss my grandfather good-by. He was white and cold. My baby brother is only 18 months old - he does not remember this. I remember my grandfather's boots -he was a tall man and since he died around my 3rd birthday - I guess boots are mostly what I saw. I remember his picking me up and throwing me in the air and catching me. I do not remember his voice or his touch. I have a couple of other memories from the age 3 category about my dog and my father. That is the sum total of my memory at the age of 3. Since these are NOT stories told by the family - they are not relayed or transferred memory. My grandmother questioned a sketch I was doing at about the age of 14 while I was spending the night with her. I was drawing the casket, the window, the curtains, my grandfather in the casket, my father holding me and my mother holding my brother. There were other people and it was in the old homestead in the family room. The rug had a floral motif - she was mystified - she asked me "YOU remembered all of that - you were just a baby". There were NO photo's ever taken of my grandfather funeral. She wiped away a tear and asked if she could keep it and put it in her bible (a very large bible on a stand in the hall way). By protection I assume you mean protection from prosecution. The FBI can't grant immunity. They are investigators not prosecutors. They can help secure an offer from the US Attorneys office but they can't grant it. Check with a criminal defense lawyer and you'll likely find that the statute of limitations has run on everyone associated with Norjack except Cooper himself. Are you implying that Cooper is still alive? I doubt it. Any solution that rules out Duane is ignored. If you've solved the case simply tell us what your evidence is. By tieing it to future cooperation you will solicit from the FBI, who will predictably ignore you, you leave yourself the usual out. Blaming the FBI has long been part of your MO. Your story probably involves airplane salvage work. It probably involves someone who knew Duane and can connect him to this. It probably lacks any physical evidence linking anybody to Norjack. If I am wrong simply tell us what evidence you do have. Otherwise it's just another tease Jo. None of your teases have panned out. Not one. Why should we expect this one to be different? There was a 4th contact with Tina yrs ago - the initial contact and the only time I made a personal request. I made 2 contacts to the Sister and all of you know I did that as I did NOT approve of what others intended to do. (both contacts were very brief and NOT about me or Duane). I suggest JT be VERY careful how he hands out insults without names and makes it sound like me by using the word YRS. Considering I have know for YRS Tina's location and contact information - I have NOT been aggressive and felt that if she wanted to discuss Cooper - it should be on her terms and of her choosing. Now that I have the information I really needed - it is a matter of getting the FBI to co-operate with my guys. It has been solved for them by someone else - but, their assistance is needed on a couple of matters and one being a specific offer of protection to an individual for the information he holds. All of this stuff you guys have done is for ought. The Cooper Case will be closed VERY soon. WE are there. We have done it. WE need 2 favors from the FBI only they can grant. With or without these 2 favors WE go FORWARD. We have only 45 days left to finish this - and if the FBI will not assist us - we will go FORWARD anyway. I can NOT talk about what is being done right now - it has me all tied up in knots. I want all of this to be over - and we don't have time to waste. I just hope the FBI does the right thing - and help us with one KEY -- their involvement would make this official. An OLD witness came forward - but he need immunitiy due to to his involvement in concealment. I talk in circles because I have been told KEEK MY MOUTH SHUT. Part of it was in the 1979 tax papers - and it blew my mind or what I have left of it. Finding that opened all of the doors...and Cooper could NOT hang around where he had been spending Cooper money. Until this Cooper did not know how the FBI knew the bils on the beach belonged to to Cooper. [Blue]Cooper got rid of them because they were damaged and he washed the rest of the money. Jo's Story has changed little over the yrs other than playing with theories. Duane did say 11 days before he died "I'm Dan Coooper" and I have NO idea why JT continues to dispute that. This was told to the FBI in 1996 when I contacted them and ever since - because it was May of 1996 I learned that Dan Cooooper as he pronounced it was D.B.Cooper and that is when all of it CLICKED just like the hands of a clock that never stopped. I have stated and it is documented about Duane's confession 11 days before he died. I did NOT call it a death bed confession (and I guess that needs to be explained to some idiots). What I complained about was the media made it sound like he made this confession on his death bed. It was after he had removed himself from diaylysis - I do NOT call that a deathbed confession...he died 11 days later. His words where NOT desperate last words - and why I do NOT call it a deathbed confession and the media made it sound like it was right before he died when it was 11 days before he died. Because I did NOT know who Dan Cooper was - Duane got angry and shouted "Oh- Fxxx Let it die with me!" YOU JT told me that we had to be on the OR side and I didn't think we were - I told you we crossed the river after The Dalles and I had NO map of the area. You assigned the names of the roads - and I had NO way to verify these until 2001 when I went to WA. YOU where the one to provide the names of the roads and even when I argued with you about the Indian Burial Grounds and the little Mt and the water - you insisted I had to be on the OR side. JT I did NOT have a map and you certainly didn't give very reliable information. WHY, when I described the places to you did YOU not recognize them - IF you are supposed to be the man on the ground? YOU told me there was NO such body of WATER on the WA. side and that Duane had to have turned me around and that we were actually on the Columbia. I had spent useless hours arguing with you. Did you record YOUR side of the conversation where YOU coaxed me and coerced me on the phone? The part where you told me NO such places existed even though I later found them in 2001...and others in 2010. I was willing to take a test on the first day I contacted the FBI. The FBI did not ask me to take a test. I have the drawings I did on a letter to Himmelsbach around 1997 trying to describe the areas I was talking about to you - it is very very obvious these places where NOT on the OR side. I showed the Washougal and another body of water. You claimed Duane turned me around and that we went back to the Columbia - but there are NO bridges there and we did NOT go back a cross the river. All I had was my memories and you were the one who was supposed to be the one to help find those places - yet you told me over and over and over like an interogator that these places DID NOT exist. Remember HOW mad you got when I got back from WA in 2001 and I called you and asked YOU WHY you had mislead me? Remember I had NO communications after that until this thread - I had cut you off due to misinformation and YOUR LIES. I would like to be there, but wouldn't be able to stay very long and I would not want to be there as me. I am a very very private person except on this thread - do NOT expose myself to the media other than in words. Probably be someone there pretending to be me - wouldn't that be a HOOT! If you do go - send me some copies of the clips & people there. I have been told there is a man who goes every yr that claims he knew who Cooper is or was and goes every yr hoping Cooper will show up. Last time he was up he made the remark that Cooper was probably dead by now and that he himself might not be this yr. This man comes over from OR every yr...sure would like for him to be shown some photos of Duane from the time period he thinks he knew Cooper from. Maybe this man knew Duane L. Weber under another name. YOU THINK? Problem is - there are few pictures of Weber as a younger man, but the FBI should have other photos. I never saw the SanQuentin or the Folsom or the Jefferson photos. The only one I had was the Canon City. The brother had the one the media used that was distorted from the brother scanning it - I never saw the original. Why the photo the FBI orginally used was not good...they should have used his file photos and pictures sent. Biggest Problem - is NOW no ONE remembers what a man looked like 40 yrs ago. You also know that others were with me on my trip in 2001 who will dispute everything you claimed. You are the one who told me where I was and where I wasn't until that May in 2001 - and I was able to ID several of the places in 2001 - YOU claimed did NOT exist. The descriptions I gave in 2001 to locals - made sense and NOT peppered with you deliberate speculation or direction. Perhaps the FBI needs to play with this name. Taylor. He helped build airport runways in the N.W and over-seas. Air-Base construction. He was a jumper...I believe it was military. Anyone capable of searching these thing also needs to connect the name Ford with Taylor and it has to be connected with the above occupation and the N.W. He knew Duane Weber, but was older. I got the impression they knew each other from the past. Maybe they both knew Susan Garrity (I know I said Joan, but the signature on her art work is Susan). At my age working from memory can get out of sorts. I may have solved one small mystery Duane left behind and it has NOTHING to do with Weber being Cooper. Sluggo said I was connecting dots that did not connect. He was right about this, but I did NOT show this particular item to him. I will need to do some searching, because everyone is deceased that would be able to tell me the significance of the find. Need to find old obituaries and I don't have all of the infomation I need. I found something that stood out. As I have said before if Weber was NOT Cooper he sure as hell knew who was.... Our trip and his the dream and things he told me and showed me are all real and true. His confession was real....but, if he was NOT Cooper how did he come into possession of some items I feel are linked to Cooper? This discovery has really put a kink into the "story" and one I can't answer at this time. Believe it or not - I uncovered this dot while making this post.
