She remained absent from the media except for this thread and others for almost 10 yrs and yet never ceased to give up or give in to defeat. She never allowed anyone to take away her memories and fought to find the truths - be if prove Duane Weber was Cooper or just a wannabe. What she has found will surprise even the FBI. Blevins, I am shocked! YOU did NOT investigate - you did NOT contact Lyle? Even I have Lyle's contact information! Remember that LYLE himself sent me the photo of the guys and a copy of the back of the picture. I had NO reason to contact him back other than a Thank You and I did NOT keep detailed information regarding this. I just know he was kind enough to send the picture with the names and a short note. Remember I knew the names of the guys before you did...I believe he sent me the picture before you were on board with Porteous. Do you really think I am naive enough to let you guys KNOW exactly what I am up to. You will known the day it is announced to the public - I might give you a head-up by like 12 hrs and NO more. I worked too hard and with stood to much let youknow what is coming. It could still fail, but I have worked really hard to find what the FBI refused to look for and that is where I concentrated my effort in the last couple of yrs - to find out who and where Duane Weber was at any given time and to fill in the blanks the FBI refused to fill in. 1944 to 1949 and 1962 to 1968 ( but, the records say he spent 16 months of that time in a prison, yet the FBI NEVER proved this). For 14 yrs I have said the answers lie in Couer' D alene. I will leave it there - the FBI didn't listen and no one else did. If I was well enough to get on a plane and go back - this would have been over this past yr. As it stand I have to wait and let other do it for me - not the same as my being there. JUST like JT telling me in 1996 to 2000 what I was describing over the phone was called this or that. When I got out there - it was obvious I was being led and discredit, but didn't know why. I may be doing nothing but disclosing the secret yrs of Weber, but there is every indication there is MUCH MUCH more and explain his knowledge of chutes and the N.W. Do you guys have any idea what names Duane L. Weber used duriing those yrs - Well, even the FBI did know the answer to that and were not interested in finding out. George: Stay Cool - just be careful what you say. Don't let Blevins get to you. Don't let things I say get to you - after all they are MUTE points. Right? To All: I think the tests on the ropes could help narrow things down. Sure they will find LOTS of DNA, but what if one matches the tie and has a little more of the genetic material than the tie DNA. Farflung is being objective in his own way - far more than some others. He is concentrating on things that might prompt the FBI to do some additional test. Orange: I will do what I have to do in my own time - if I don't make it to see this thru there is someone who will speak for me. To All: I am not sure exactly what is going on with the FBI right now, but you can bet they want to put a lid on this on the 40th. They are NOT interested in Weber, but they should be paying attention even if they aren't investigating the case. PS: After I posted the above and went back to edit it - I saw that JT is going to provide "proof" that I am a liar. I will remind all of you that I had NO map of the area prior to 2001 and the Osha Map I had of the entire 1/2 of the US had NO details regarding roads in WA or OR. JT provided the details and who was I to argue with the "Man on the Ground" as Himmelsbach called him. Only after my 2001 trip did I put an end to communication with him - and he KNOWS why! The man and the 3 ladies who assisted me in 2001 after the TV crew left - well, no one was expecting me to continue the seach on that trip. These women and the man can attest to the fact that when they picked me up - I was very upset that the places the crew took me at JT's direction were NOT the places I was looking for...most looked nothing like what I tried to describe over the phone. I rest my case and BTW - maybe, just maybe the search for Cooper is OVER and maybe some very nice people have contacted the FBI on my behalf. JT's continued efforts to discredit me only makes him look bad or makes him look like part of a cover-up (perhaps only because he wants to be the one to expose Cooper). All I have ever wanted was the truth and to know about the past of my husband.... just too many blank spots. Twice he just disappeared off the face of the earth - and the stories he told me in 3rd person all happened during these missing yrs. In those days no one knew such things as computers and archives would be able to find trace evidence of those yrs. I am speechless! One of those Gotcha moments. I will be very busy for the next few days. Don't know how much more I can take! This is ALL too much for me right now. Between my health and Cooper, I don't have enough time to do what has to be done. Facing more surgery - probably the scariest thing I have ever had to face and then MY search for Cooper hits an all time high in relation to Weber. Burns, Oregon and Prineville - my search took me there before and then JT went down there (almost immediately after I posted about that area) which I found very suspicious, although no one else thought so. If JT is not part of a cover-up - he is certainly going to a lot of trouble to erase all evidence of Weber having been in the WA, OR and ID area. Perhaps some of you need go back over JT's history in regards to subjects he has supported in the past and now the "splattered and density of the forest or in the river" story is constantly disputed by many. While everyone else has been researching the flight and the jump - I have been doing what I have done for 15 yrs - finding out about the past of one Duane L. Weber aka John C. Collins and Dan Cooper. I have had a lot of help and support from those who post in the thread and a lot from others who prefer not to post here or have no desire to do so. It is what goes on OUTSIDE of this thread that is very important. Sluggo's litte motto he always used about "those who Know" and he Knew what he was talking about. I wonder what has happened to Sluggo and if he is well. If he is well and reads the thread - I hope he makes a post to let ALL know he is OKAY. If Cooper left a print it would be on the aftstairs - per the Dream Duane had! I would have thought he would have put gloves on before going down the stairs, but who knows? Himmelsbach made the statement - that some of the prints they found could have been there since the plane was built. I believe this meant they took lots of prints from the aftway and stairs...and he did NOT disclose where they got the 60 some latent prints. The most likely areas would have been the wheel to the aft way and around that point and on the rails. A dream is just a dream until it becomes a nightmare! I made a post that I verified was on the thread and today when I got here it is GONE! Like the one that Vickie "captured" this is real...things go POOF that I post. I posted 3 or 4 very important pictures. I could not find the post so here goes again. I mentioned that 3 of these photos where sent to me by the ex-wife while the step-daughter was still alive. View these photos and think about them. She was sending me a message long before the 4th photo (the FBI photo of the tie) was ever made public. A member of her family contacted me yrs later - in the and this is when I learned "the tie story". The individual contacting me was unaware I did NOT know the story. I am limited by the time I can spend sitting at the computer to compose a post. I do try to read all of the posts done on any given day - just to keep abreast of what is going on and to make a short post or 2 if I feel like it. Some of my post are choppy and have errors in them...but, that is the way it is. Hope most of you know what I am trying to say even though I mispell words and the wording sometimes is some what incoherent. All of the stuff he claims I am "lieing about" is just JT trying to be heard. I just found out the composite I thought was the old Roy Rose was a SCAM. Someone altered the original composite and put it out there as one done by Rose. It had been deliberately altered to look more like another suspect. Certain parties want to know who first posted that altered Composite. We all know the same thing was done to one composite to make it look more like Gossett, but who originated this one? There were actually other composites done that were NEVER made public, but not given an official number - only in the private collection of Rose. I was NOT aware of this until this week. Is the attached composite a fake? Note the number on it is the same as the composite used currently used by the FBI. Real composites would have different sub. alphabet letters. Probably all of you already knew this - but, I didn't until this wk. I got used on this - and I was accused of changing the composite until I proved it appeared elsewhere before I knew about it. Hopefully Janet will not claim she could see someone on those aftstairs - that would have been impossible. A flare or light - maybe! Could she have seen the aft stair open? Only if there was a glich in the sky that magnified the plane and due to the darkness - the most she could have seen would have been a light from the aft stairway. Since it has been established the aft stair had lights that would automatically have come on when the door was lowered and the plane lights on - she could by some Grace of God saw the aft doorway lights...but to see a man standing on that stairway - NO WAY! As for Tina - she would NOT chance being mobbed by drunks in a bar. Perhaps she and others will be special guests of the FBI to make a presentation...to the public at an undisclosed location. Latin Descent has been misused. All Florence was trying to do was to denote color type of complexion. Her only comparisions were Latin to indicate the golden undertones. One uses what one knows. Some would have said Indian depending on what Indians they may have had contact with. Some Indian have gold tone, but most have red tones. I am considered med Olive but Duane definitely had the golden undertones depending on his sun exposure. After so long he would take on an even darker tone that had the ruddy ash color which I refer to as Indian. Since most of my pictures are not true to color - showing the two of us together is useless other than to show how fair I am compared to him. I was considered medium olive but perhaps this will denote how much darker Duane was than I was. When he had little tan his tones were golden. Lots of exposure and it was darker. Before you read the post below I just received an email that would indicate the Lloyd I am looking for would not be Stewart S. Johnson: The Lloyed or Floyed I am looking for was tall - 6" plus. and he would have at least have had a winter home in Fl...but knew Duane Weber from the N.E. I will allow the post to stand for enquiry information as the named man below is still alive and no record of his having lived or worked seasonally in Florida during the time frame I am searching for. "Lloyd" Johnson Before I go off in left field - when did he die or is he still alive? (probably not)! Was he a resident of Fla during 1988 - and 2005? Very important! If he was deceased then this goes NO where. Intermountain, Ogden, Utah. This is where the man I know as Ed Horan talked about. Ed Horan mentioned Odgen - in his brief conversation with me. Richard "Paperlegs" Petersen had some kind of contact with these individuals and Ogden. The ex knew Paperlegs...CO and AZ. I don't know what happened to my mind in a moment of clarity today - but, it all fell together. They say when the going get tough the mind remembers things. Actual conversations I had with individuals who knew Duane Weber or his alias (Dusty)way back when. It took only a few words to make my mind spin out of control. The (flea market ) "Lloyd" I met in Fla had a connection with Duane and parts of his conversation - I remember. They talked about some buildings and a big joke and Ogden and Intermountian. The Ed Horan during his brief talk with me mentioned Ogden and old planes ( I got the feeling he worked on planes or helicopters of some sort back in the day). Below research that fits with everything I have ever told about Duane and my memories of his conversations with "Old" friends out of his past. The FBI never checked these out. What I have found: 1941 to 1945. CCC's & Forestry Services helped with the buildings and the beginning of the McCall Jumpers. With only a handful of jumpers the CCC's and forestry service was needed to help build the camp. Even in 1944 there where only 19 jumpers and the yr before only 3. Look at 1941 and 1942 and 1943 and 1944. I do NOT know what name Duane used, but surely there are records of some kind. Duane if not using his real name probably used the nickname of Dusty. This was the stepping off ground for the CIA recruiters. Not just jumpers but Kickers. They also recruited for Laqos, Tibet, the Arctic and in 1961 - was the source for Bay of Pigs. "Ravens" what can anyone find out about them. The "Ravens" worked covertly in Laos. Is there an insignia for the Ravens? The first time I ever found anything that actually fit with what I did know about Weber - conversations I heard and things I was told. Someone PLEASE listen - please! The FBI is just going to sit on their hands and some of you guys are going to be sure I am off my ROCKER. I am not. I know I read this old article years ago - but I was too caught up in other things. I have quietly in my mind went back to the things I actually knew about Duane - things he spoke of over the yrs. Actual conversations with 2 individuals...one in 1978 and the other sometime between 1988 and 1994. I even tried to corner this "Lloyd" in early 2000's at a flea market he was set-up at. He evaded me and claimed no memory of Duane - yet I heard the conversation between Duane and this man yrs earlier. PLEASE HELP! I have worked really hard recently sorting out what I KNOW from what could possibly be false memories. I have gone back to my notes and recordings in those early yrs. I stand by the statements above. Only small things and things most would never connect over a 17 yr relationship. Perhaps even Duane misjudged me as most of you have! This girl remembers things and she holds onto those memories. This is what I have been doing lately - SORTING and this is the RESULTS! Duane may never have jumped but he knew how to put on a chute if he had been a spotter or kicker...that did NOT make him a jumper. Some one before us made a CODE error and until they FIX it we are Stuck on LONG Lines. QUADE - HELP. It started with a post by Georger I think. Have read through looking for the Code Error. I agree with 377 - one must watch for (and adjust) if Cossey's penchant for pranks surfaces? That aside I am wondering if this is not just one more example of incomplete history at work, vs a wholesale change in Cooper 'parachute history'? Does it matter who owned the chutes? Why would we get different stories about where and from who the chutes were obtained? Who' would the FBI turn to for a correct identification of the chutes regardless of where they came from or who owned them, in their convoluted history? (probably Cossey imho because Cossey was the maker/origin of the back chutes). Correct? ? But, we have been down this road before, Multiple stories from multiple people; not all stories agree. The Palmer report and "washougal washdown" are one case in point. Bruce's description of the money site vs Georger's description of that site vs. Agent X's description of that site ... vs. Palmer's description of that site. Fact I can prove: The Washougal Washdown Theory did not originate with Leonard Palmer but from someone else involved as an advisor at the time. That is the actual history of that, in case it matters. Others may disagree... There are many other example of this same multiple-account phenominon occuring in the Cooper story. Resolving these different account is what research is all about - Im not saying anything new - Welcome back. Georger is the statement above really you - you actually went to see Hayden? You said the key words: "Multiple-account phenominon occuring in the Cooper Story" This has been a problem since day one. I welcome anyone who is willing to get down and actually dig this stuff up - but to give factual accountings and not to engarnish them with their own flare for writing. All of the above leaves even the Amboy chute in limbo. Seems as though you used your down time productively. We didn't get far with our project (me and my guys) - we ran into a glich of sorts. Again another one of those things that is originally told and then you find out - the story comes down a little differently when the parties are confronted with known facts. Depending on memories to record the Cooper investigation is a crazy loopy ride on one of those Disney World Roller coaster rides. Frankly I believe it is time to make the complete FBI file on Cooper an OPEN BOOK. NO REDACTIONS!. NONE other than names of suspects or witnesses who have come forward....the accountings should be there, but to exclude on names other than those known to the public. Open the FILE and let the public solve this case. A commitee could be formed that would have access to even re-dacted names and other information. NO MORE SECRETS! I actually believe this case could have been solved on the 25th had the FBI have done this at that time or even before. Prior to the 25th some information was being sat on by an individual or individuals involved. BUT, that is just JO talking so it means nothing. You are correct about the Washougal Wash Down Theory not originating with Palmer. Palmer's Report is no more than a letter that states the money on Tena's bar had been there less than a yr and had been in the water for less than a yr. He did NOT propose how it got there and a wash down was NOT part of that letter. I only know what I have been told by someone who actually got to read the "Report". I had thought this was just a glich or spot on this old polaroid photo...now we know better. 5. a pic of the tie and clasp they claimed may have belonged to Cooper. Note she sent the one of her holding the glasses and him wearing the tie at the SAME time. This was yrs ago and she sent me the originals - I was supposed to make copies and send them back, but she ended up in an assisted living...so the photo's remained in my safe keeping and are now kept in a safe. HAZEL! They reflect your surrounding...but they could never be described as Dark Piercing Brown....even in the cabin of a plane and the poor lighting that abounded on those flights in 1971. TRUE! Hazel seems to take on the colors surrounding them more so than brown or blue. My eyes are Hazel and they sometime appear to be olive or a medium brown. Sometime the blue / grey ring around them seems a different color from a DARK blue/brown to a light grey. The star bursts often look darker and making them appear to be brown (never dark brown). Often the star burst - pop with gold. Right once you know someone with hazel eyes you never forget them! The surroundings, lighting and backgound provide a palette of colors for these multi-colored eyes. Dark brown eyes can also do this but to a very narrow extent. My Avatar is what it is. One half of a Cooper composite and One half a picture of Weber. It stays! There has only been one villain in the aftermath of Cooper and it was NOT the FBI. This will be spelled out much later, but now is not the time. CIA involvement or covert involvement - perhaps! Perhaps the above is true only in the minds of those who see no other answers possible. The new poster gives his location as Evansville. Evansville, Anywhere USA? Are you VP or RJ? JT: Only I know exactly what parts of Max's book are true and most of it is fiction. Max walked me thru the book and it is marked. One a very small portion of his book contains truths. Max had only 6 phone calls in total from Clara and she was usually a little tipsy. "Everyone has a little Lacency in their hearts". Not sure if that is a direct quote - as I am recalling it from memory. Duane had an ex-wife whose favorite expression was this very same one. Together Max and I walked thru his entire book. He would give me page numbers and ask me if there was anything on that page that would give me cause to connect - Weber to his Cooper. I got them right 99% of the time. I knew the real story from the fictional parts of the story. It was after this that Max made a visit to CA. When he got back, he wrote his final letter to me. You guys can read what you want into this, but it really happened. Max and I had a connection and it was not personal - it was Cooper and Clara (not her real name). I am only letting this part of the story I have told for yrs resurface since JT is so intent on Max's book. Note the syntac of the letters supposedly from Cooper - and then note the syntac of letters written by Weber for other reasons. Oh, that is right only Sluggo and the FBI and my guys are privey to Duane's letters! Note that Max also wrote for the same magazine Geoffrey wrote for! Have we found Max's old file?
