If the REAL ID law is being enforced in Oklahoma where Marla lives this might be the reason she reverted to Cooper. A woman has to use her first given name and her middle name (I had always used my maiden name as my middle name) and then last married name. Now the REAL ID LAW will not allow a woman to use here MAIDEN name as her MIDDLE name. So if Marla was divorced when she got her drivers license, her legal name would be Marla + (whatever her given middle name is) and Cooper, unless she chose to keep the last married name. I GOT a REAL ID shock when I was told I could NOT use my MAIDEN name as my middle name and had to use the last name of the last Husband I had never used. My only other choices were to obtain a passport under the name I use (just for 10 yrs) or legally change my birth name leaving out my middle name. Another options is a legal name change at approx $1700 in the State of FL. Had I not been allow to use my name I would have to change ALL of me holding - accounts, deeds, vehicle (34 documents in total) plus my medicare, IRA and everything to the new name (costs around $7000 approx). Not many senior retirees have that kind of money laying around. Weird thing is it took only 2 wks to get a passport using my current name with only a birth certificate and a marriage license. The passport is good for 10 yrs. By the time I am in my 80's I won't be driving...but what if - I would only be stringing out the inevitable. I expect this might be why Marla uses Cooper. You guys don't change names and now a woman doesn't have to change names...because the new LAW will allow her to use her given name for the rest of her life. Family member need to be careful when giving their children names now. For instance: Minnie Mouse (pronouce MOOSAY) Cooper If she married many yrs ago she was able to drop the Mouse. Minnie Cooper Fucks (pronouced Fewks) Now today with the REAL ID law she is required to use - Minnie Mouse Fucks on her drivers license and that is her legal name. Our government has GONE too far in telling married women they have use their middle name when they have for 34 yrs used their maiden name as the middle name. This resulted in Minnie have to get a passport at $145 or legally change her name ($1700) or change all of her multiple holding to ($7,000) to a name that is ridiculous:

While the background of a potential Cooper would certainly be open to scrutiny, this is not the case for the "informant" (for lack of a better word). Thank You, Georger. I can assure you that everything I ever said about this man is true. JT is responsible for the FBI not investigating Weber the way they investigated other suspects. How or why they have gone as far as they have with the LD Cooper things totally is out of character for the FBI and tells me they just want to hang the case out to dry. NOW regarding Marla: Again we (you guy - I will sit this one our) take on a writer and teach them the facts about the crime as we all mentored Blevins. I will start this off with ONE big mistake - Plagurism and taking of her story from all of stories told about Cooper suspects. Note she says "man on the ground" How many time as it been printed what Duane Weber told me in 1979"That's were Cooper walked out of the Woods" and I asked him "How would you know" and he replies "Maybe I was the one on the ground". It was always my belief that he was trying to cover up his statement. Yet, I never looked back on the statement until I learned 1 yr and 2 months after he died and said "I'm Dan Coooper" that Dan Cooper was D.B. Cooper. This resulted in a 15 yr search for the truth....one Marla could never survive. This old cookie has survived to continue her battle for the truth, but I do not have the time or energy to expend on the likes of someone who rides on the work and research of others. My communications with the prison prior to 2000 indicated John Collins and 2 others names connected to Weber were residents there in the late sixities. I had nothing to prove I was the widow of John Collins. Prior to FBI coming to this thread I was denied the Jefferson file and Duane Weber was not connected to the John Collins file per 2 emails I had with the prison and a phone conversation. FBI refused to provide me with the materials and then a few months later the file is on a Mo. site and the back paperwork is destroyed. They have him listed there as Duane L. Weber. Does not anyone find that odd? It was not until I brought it to Carr that Duane L. Weber was connected to the John Collins file. Someone did some fancy foot work (paper work) to move Weber on out of the picture. Excuse me I had a problem with this and the FBI's own actions gave birth to the CIA, coverts or soldier of fortune stories. Plus the stories told to me by the ex-wife and places they lived (always on the move) and the stories told to me by Weber - that matched. Except Duane's stories were always in 3rd person. She denied knowing what he did, because he would be gone for wks at a time and he always came back with money. They moved to and lived in all of the locations certain programs where worked out of. SO what's a girl to think? P.S. HOW convenient the military lost LD Cooper's prints. Surely he had other prints on file some place - how convenient this is going to be with the items they retrieved that supposedly belonged to LD in Eugene. If those prints match they will declare LD as Cooper, but the FBI already knows my story about this the location. Nothing I spoke about on this thread, but communicated to the FBI. I think I told the WRONG person where to look - thought the individual was being nice and it turns out he was fishing on my pond? He baited his hook with kindness. I had to go in the back door but I finally got to Blevins site to read his question/answer article and NOW after figuring out how to get to DropZone - I don't remember what the questions and answers were. 1. Knew a 727 could be jumped: as he specifically asked the ticket agent if this flight was a 727. Possible answers: Was he involved directly or indirectly with the planning of the plane. Was the 727 patterned with the objective of being used to drop cargo on a massive basis and then decided to use this as a passenger design since the war was winding down. Possible answer: He was in the service - if so why did individuals who thought their old buddy did NOT come forward in 1971 or 1972. Or did this person come up as a suspect and be ruled out. Possible answer: Why were certain suspect ruled out...was this because the FBI could not find any background on the individuals whose names they were given - gives suspect to false names given Possible answer: Individual with basic military training (so many records burned but, maybe we can find individuals still living whose records were also destroyed who might be able to provide information regarding basic jump training in certain facilities suspects were trained at. Possible answer: Cooper joined the service during war time used another man's ID, but was found out during or after basic and went AWOL - or just plain old Poof. Possible answer: He was military and jumped military - doubtful he had a long career, because too many would have recognized him - such as those who say Braden was Cooper, but no one has explored Braden's locations since 1971 in any detail - surely the family had pictures of Braden after 1971 and until his death. Possible answer: Cooper had be an opportunist using another name - and became part of a non-military covert Op. Or he was a criminal buying his way out of prison...do we even know if that was ever done. Surely there is someone in the system who could provide a 1st hand account or accounting from a reliable relative that could discount or confirm this. I have heard rumors of individuals buying their way out of prison by doing someone a favor - but, no confirmation of such activities. We take the case - starting with this and then go on to his actions on the plane. Such as: 2. Cooper was the last person to board and until seated kept his sunglasses on in NOV? Why? We have all basically answered this in the thread in the past. Such as: 3. We have beat the accent or non accent to death and nothing can be added to this. We can test expressions used by Cooper such as "Let's get this show on the road" . Did he use an expletive? What was the tone in his voice? Anger, threatening, raspy, lower tone than other communications expressed by Cooper. We need more information from the crew before they are all deceased. Possible answer - I heard or read from some source the voice was raspy. Was the voice deep, normal, raspy ( perhaps he had had a procedure that caused that). Example I know Duane's voice became raspy when he was angry and after he had a procedure done) - this was later in life - the angry - get the point always existed. I think it does in all of us. This is merely an example of how we need to summarize Cooper's profile and of course mine are biased - but they are all possibliities. Vickie, I edited out part of your post above, but I want you to know how down to earth - how real most of your post sound. Perhaps I feel we share a bond - I want to know WHO I was married to and you want to know WHAT happened to your father. I think it is time the thread created a real profile on Cooper. The FBI's profiles have been biased and without knowledge of the time when Cooper was exposed to jumping or was trained to jump. Obviously Cooper knew the 727 could be jumped from the aft-way.

I did NOT attack you. If you think something is about you it probably is - that is your perspective. You only see one side of the coin. You could NOT find a Mt that has been spelled out. You couldn't find were the tower used to be. Truth is you did find them and know exactly what I have spoke of and the fact the tower was there in 1971, but not 1979....but, YOU had YOUR own motives for NOT revealing this. 1. NOT, fair. Carr and I had it out in public right here in this thread...not hiding behind a desk Everyone of you hear him take credit for things this thread discovered (mostly because of Snowmman). 2. Carr exposed Duane Weber's criminal record in this forum and yet, I had requested those records for 7 yr. I guess Carr thought he could back me off with that tactic - but, it was NOT ethical. I requested by phone and by email and by snail mail those damn records and they were not provided. The only one I gave a damn about was the Jefferson record - (the detail report) I had obtain the detail reports with the help of a journalist - the McNeil, the Canon City, the Folsom and the San Quentin files - before the FBI had a chance to destroy them. The only detail report that meant anything was the Jefferson and the Columbia (which now some of you guys have helped me fill in some data - we still have 3 yrs unaccounted for)...an nothing on the Jefferson othere than the sketchy thing they placed into public reocords and NO explanation for the John Collins Commutation. He ran aroun that one like it was piece of dynamite. 3. The FBI withheld criminal records from me - (but put them out for the public to see). Remember the FBI claimed in 2000 that Duane had not been in McNeil and that he had never been in the army...just reminding you that inappropriate actions took place and he did it in the thread. 4. Yes, I contacted the FBI and told them is was inappropriate and it was also inappropirate for him to boast on the FBI web site "his" find regarding the comic - which only hinderd the investigation and didn't help at all. On a personal basis I provided him with some detailed infomation that actually went some where and he chose to sit on the computer instead of going out there to see if there was anything to what I sent him. I do NOT have clue who you are, but I would sure like to shake your hand. You summed up something I have been trying to say for yrs now. There are some basic concepts you have to read back and obtain some history on. Very unlikely Cooper would land anywhere near a phone in 1971, unless he landed near the Heisson General store. Now if Marla used this she is shaddowing the things I have repeated for yrs. Heisson is a place I went to in 2010 and the moment I sat foot in the store - desperate to find facilities - and upon being allowed to use the NON-public facility knew I had been there before. How could I not remember that place - and when I found this on my last day on my trip in 2010 - and having already purchased my ticket home - my heart longed to stay but I could ill afford another day in WA. That moment is among the others when I knew I would not my turn back away from this journey into my husbands past. Cooper actually did NOT know what was ahead of him - and he fully did NOT expect to survive. Surviving the jump was beyond belief - then this dumb crook had to learn how NOT to get caught. He almost got caught several times - but learned to survive in plane site. Perhaps why he chose me - I was clueless and didn't look back or have expectations. Now, something I have to say just because Among the posters in the thread is one who claims to have attended a prestigious and scholastic university. If this person attended this particular university perhaps he would be interested in discussing a book by R.T. Stone called The Journals. Although not published until 1998, this individual should be able to read and understand "A Message from the Council of Ancients". Is this individual able to decipher or understand the purpose and mission the author intended? If not then perhaps he needs to acquire the book and take it with him on his next expedition into his solitude. Perhaps he will find himself and the answers he seeks by reading the book. Note: Jo Weber does NOT know how to use Facebook. I have tried but it is way over my head. I was able to go to Knoss's site by invitation and a couple of others - managed to make a post on one, but that is all. This site and other sites like this one are my main means of communicating about Cooper. I do everything else hands on with a search and with the help of many people who have came to my aid. With maps I can hold in my hands and talking to people on the phone. Now certain individuals realize I have some very special maps - but they do not recognized that I obtained some of these on my own by paying a person to go to Clark Co to do the research work - the person did NOT ask for any re-imbursements, but I gave her what I could. Others have provided me with documents and maps, such as Sluggo and other very generous souls in this thread and the other threads, but the FBI never provided me with anything....except the Ben Gazzard look alike composites I could find NO WHERE in 1996 or 1997. The agent of record actually mailed me the composites and I am the one who has made the Gazzard look-alike available as they appear in the media today in color - not counting the one someone altered for the benefit of Cook/Gossett. Until then all anyone had was what had appeared in a newspaper or book. Seems like the FBI would have made all of the composites available to the public every yr on the anniversary, but that did not happen in the East or South. Cooper was not going to stick around the N.W. and wait to be arrested. JT never provided anything...not one IOTA to me. Right now there is a surveyor in WA chewing at the bit, but I can't ask him to do what I need done without some kind of compensation, otherwise I would pick up the phone and say do it and I need to be in WA with him , but my health will not permit that at this time. I can't seem to say in words or describe to anyone what I was shown by Weber in 1979. Now it has been so long and so much developement - it seems like an impossible task, but I need to find where that tower was and there are other areas I did not get to see in 2010. 15 days with my feeling my way around with some maps and my gut instincts. I just did not have the time or the money to say any longer and the last 3 days I was down in my back. If I could find where that tower used to be - there might be something there, but I expect why I couldn't find it is that the area is now developed, because the land was flat and wooded not hilly. Yet, where ever that tower was is a key. The road would still be there and from the road it would be at 10:30 on the clock and to the rails for the logging road. What is on the other side of that Logging road and where did it go. Did it go to one of the other places he took me. How did he know all of the places without a map? Check the post I made just prior this with the 3 pictures in it. This photo is ONE no one has ever seen before. Look very closely at the forehead (you will have to us an enhancement program on you photos) - I chose NOT to do any changes with this photo other than to isolate Cooper from his surroundings. This picture was made in 1977 with a simple cheap camera I had. Note with enhancement the scar at the forehead and the hairline. Over yrs it faded. His ex-wife had told me Duane had a gash on his forehead...this is evidence that she did NOT lie about that. His co-workers also noted an injury. I do NOT think it is an injury but maybe it is. I will also attach the young 25 approx photo so you can see and decide for yourself - gash or deliberate mutilation of the hair line. Also NOTE how much this one resembles the photo of Marla's Uncle that had been used and supposedly shown to the witnesses. HOW can I make all of this up? HOW can I invent all of this? Earlier today I tried to post some pictures for Georger, but could not get one of them to post. Pictures the witnesses need to see and if anyone thinks Marla's Uncle was Cooper - take a strong look at these two old pics one of which was on an Georgia drivers license. Early everything kept going poof so I will give this ONE more try. Georger did a clean up a photo of Marla's Cooper. What I have done is scan an old driver's license of Duane's - Strange thing I found - there are 2 (TWO) Georgia drivers licenses with an expiration date if June 18 1983. One is obviously fake because it shows Duane being older and with his moustach and his glasses on. I am using the one I believe to be the real one, but I thought they destroyed your old license when you got a new one. The exam date on the license is May 15 of 1979 in Georgia - we did NOT live in Georgia in 1979 - we were still living in CO. Reading the licenses and the dates and the pictures - This is CRAZY. Why didn't I look at these? Why didn't the FBI look at these? I do NOT remember us going to GA in May of 1979 - so HOW is this license possible. Perhaps he made a trip without me - and maybe for some reason he could NOT get a CO license. HELP ME make sense out of all of this. Had I not have gone back looking for old pictures of Duane - I would never have noticed this - NOW, I think I am REALLY going crazy - if the FBI did not see all of this and question it. The date on all of these drivers licenses are driving me nuts if I am not already there. Picture attached. The address given on this one is 6883 Allen Cir Apt 23 in Norcross, but we were living in Ft. Collins Co on Purdue in May of 1979. The more I learn about Duane the scarier this looks - WHO the hell was I married to for 17 yrs? I really really need some answers! This picture of Duane also shows more of the Upper versus Lower angle of camera position or viewer description of Cooper. I am going to find one of the old pics I have from a different view and post that along with this "License pic". I am still not comparing Apples with Apples - date of Picture with Date. If the GA license is real the picture was made in 1979. OKAY one more stab at getting these pictures to post. 3 of them transferred with this, but the other one look for later tonight - since I have to go in close on the page - it may not be the best quality - BUT, if the closest to Cooper the witnesses have ever seen is Marla's uncle - they witnesses need to see these photos.
