Pushing buttons doesn't work with most people when they want to remain private and posture them selves - learn to read the posture and tone and then back off by changing the subject to something unrelated very quickly. Stop to pick a daisy or prairie flower and comment how beautiful nature is. Use something physical to distract the individual from a question or enquiry you realize he or she is not comfortable with or that should not have been asked in the first place. You know all of this - but, just reminding you as I have to remind myself over and over everytime I want to pick of the phone and call Tina. I remind myself she was only 22 yrs old and this happened 40 yrs ago. I ask myself -"What if it was me". "What if it was my daughter?" Then I STOP thinking about it at least for a while....She knows where the FBI office is should she want to discuss this act of 40 yrs ago. Dave I do not think Quade was referring to your post or anyone specific post. He wants us all to be on guard and to be kind - not to engage in the conflicts of the past, but to continue our search in a logical and reactive way. The red and white chute was enough for me - never have I stated the color of the chute. If Duane had told me about a chute and the color of it - would I not have relayed that to the FBI asap? Quade does keep up with what is said here. What he said was directed at us ALL. The thread is a great source of information and knowledge - we need to keep it that way. I had lost it several times recently and said some unkind things and Quade knows it takes a lot to make me be ugly and I got ugly with BK in some of my last posts. Wonder if he could dig UP some information on the Amboy Chute find. Like maybe a picture of what the area used to look like back in 1979 when I was there - if it is the same place. He and others could even test me by posting placed that are not that site from the 70's and see if I could ID it. I am game if anyone is willing to take on the challenge. I expect it is currently farm land or a developement of some sort. I won't recognize the changes so it has to be before it changed drastically. I would say anything before 1980. We were there in 1979 in Sept so I do not expect there was a lot going on that winter in the way of development. Wish I could remember more. Come on someone in WA get busy finding old pictures and asking those who worked with the developers and farmers and the places owned by the companies who took the wood. Like Zeller (something like that) and back in our part of the woods it would be Champion. Has to be someone who would have ventured onto that area after the tower was taken down. I expect the removal of the tower would have been by a developer - maybe it was old and a safety danger to explorers and children who went back into the area. Just a guess. Someone in WA start to ask question of those in the know in 1971 to 1979. We are talking 30 to 40 yrs ago...there has to be someone still alive who can remember this. Yes, I smell it and your new avatar I am sure reflects everyone who reads and has posted to this thread. Now to get back the important poster - 377, Snowmman (please) we need him, Georger, Homid, Sluggo, Hangdiver and all of the others who have made this thread productive. No more throwing out bones or arguing or making others sound bad. We all need to talk about what has been going on. I know I do. IF any of you know something about the Amboy site or has a picture or co-ordinates please help. Just ONE more thing I have to include or eliminate. I keep thinking it was just a fluke and I stlll thought the area was hilly, but there were never any pictures of this area made public. I understand the owner not wanting Cooper sleuths digging on his property for Cooper's stash, but if it were only a couple of indiviuals who wanted to take pictures and who would research the co-ordinate history without disclosure of the specifics. The FBI should have done this when it was found. The FBI has never REALLY listened to what I have had to say - not ever. Even Sluggo just cast off so many things - the knife and at that time the chute had not been found. WHAT IF? There are just to many WHAT IF's in the story. You guys know I talked about this area Duane took me too and the circle and the tower - LONG LONG before the chute was found. WHAT IF the location of that chute and were Duane took me are one and the same? The only way to find this out is to disclose what that property looked like in 1979 and 1971. If it is close and there was a tower there that was not there in 1979 - then the FBI owes ME big time. Everyone in this thread knows I have gone on and on about the circle and the place a tower used to be, and the tracks and the shed -from DAY ONE - how many yrs ago was that LONG LONG before that CHUTE was found. LONG SHOT, but worth pursuing if it will end my guessing and worrying about WHAT IF. I still want to know what the Micky Mouse was about. IT is REAL - and its name is Billy. I didn't make that up either. Did he have this with him on the plane - did it belong to someone he cared about. Hell, I was never able to find out when they first made those things. Now, if the other posters come back - perhaps there will be some quiet decent discussions. Right now it seems the Amboy Chute is of concern. Bruce and a friend are going up there to see this. I made a map (really rough) of what I saw when Duane took me to where a tower used to be. I can no longer remember the sequence of things. My 2010 trip proved the most valuable thing I had done - memory did NOT take into account time and space. This is when I found the old Hiesson post office and general store...it felt too familiar and when I walked into that store memories flooded back in waves. I needed to use the restroom, but it was not available to the public. I explained I really needed to go badly - and was allowed to enter. I remembered this old bathroom from before - the P.O. and the small sitting area as you enter. There was a playpen there and a chair as they often brought their family to the store while working. It was family owned. What a land mark. Age and time have caught up with me making it more difficult to remember the details of the 1979 trip with Duane and then my trip in 2010 when I was actually behind the wheel of the car. What I am chasing now is the site of the Amboy chute. I need to know what the area looked like in 1979 versus what it looks like now. Again time and space and seqence of events maybe out of order. Since I have found an old surveyor all he needs are the co-ordinates of the Amboy site and he will be able to produce pictures of the area from 1979 and maybe 1971. He will know what kind of tower could have been there...if there was a tower removed prior to 1979. All I remember is the road was fairly straight where the 2 dirt roads turn off to our right. I did NOT see the 1st dirt road. Duane entered the road and we went about 200 yard minimum into this area which ended in a circle - it had not "treed up" yet but had growth on it. This circle was surrounded by trees. We are in this circle in 1979 and Duane hesitates and thinks he may have made the wrong turn and that it might have been the road before this one. Sitting in a Cadillac just inside the circle he suddenly points to the right and states "there used to be a shed there and one time I buried something behind it". He tells me about a tower that used to be there and a light on it that could have been seen for a long ways away. Then he points slighty to the LEFT of the circle and points out a lower line of trees. He tells me there used to be a logging road there that went all they way to the tracks (my search has been looking for Major Rails but, they may have been temporary tracks owned by the lumber company). I have since learned the lumber companies had tracks that carried the lumber to major tracks and privately owned by the lumber companies. Duane had mentioned lumber company owned land earlier in the day - but, it was insignifcant to me. I want to find out where this area was. I have sent out materials and spoke to old timers but they do NOT remember this site being in the Battleground area I THOUGHT we were in. They ALL suggested yrs ago that there were other sites resembling what I was describing further North (so you see what I am chasing). At that time before my 2010 trip - I did not think we went as far North as we did. Considering my memory does NOT account for time and space I am anxious to learn more about the actual location of the "Amboy" chute. If that location resembles what I have describe from 1979 and what Duane described as it having looked in the past - this would needed to be investigated. It maybe a remote possiblility but something I need to do. I need to make sure the Amboy chute site and where Duane took me are NOT the same place. If per-chance they are the same then I need to make that trip BACK to WA. and stay until the FBI listens to me or give me an explanation. My health has continued to decline I do NOT expect to be able to do this. I have maybe 3 good hours in the morning and then around late afternoon I get another spurt of energy which wans. Then before I go to bed - my mind and memories will not let me sleep - so I get on the computer and talk to you guys. At least this is a way to leave my memories out there to individuals actually interested in learning the truth as I am. My routine and energy levels now mean I have to make afternoon posts - that evening spurt of energy seems to have just gone Poof!. Please - to those of you who are trying to find these places & investigate the Cooper story - Please remember my accounting and take this into consideration when looking at the history of those areas. P.S. I have tried to read the map you guys posted for the Amboy find, but I can't match it to my old maps and can't figure out with all of the green what is what. If any one can direct me to a plain map of this area so I can compare it to the trip Duane took me on - then I can basically rule in or out the possiblility of this being were Duane took me. It was right after this he was looking for an old road that would take us back a different way and it was still there. Right NOW - your guess is as good as mine and that is not much. The parachute find may be completely out of the areas Duane took me to. I do know Duane showed me were the Old Farguer airport was...after he showed me the treed and tower area. Therefore the treed area had to be higher up than orginally thought. I ruled out higher in my own mind because I thought anything around Amboy would be hilly or mountaineous. This road took us back to the Battleground area and on down to Meadow Glade where he pointed out the HAT (the navigational system). We are going South toward Brush Prairie. He mentions the plaines and the nurseries and how far one could walk thru there all the way to It was after this he mention a town and car trouble in Homan BUT we do not go to Homan. Before we hit a major artery going West, he tells me about a bar in an area (where the guys used to go) NOT on the new maps and an airstrip in this area in a field and mentions Pits again. Again he mentions the Green Mt airport to the East and all of the "stuff" behind it. He remarks with surprise they had finished the hwy this far as we approach I-5. He mentions a road going North and tells me about Dollar Corner and having know a man there. He is tells me about all of the power lines, recreational areas, the pipe lines and where they crisscross. All of this coming from a man who had supposedly "NOT EVER LIVED IN THE AREA" as was stated to me by the FBI. Sorry if I have repeated things I have told before - and hope I haven't scramble things up more. I never had the detailed map before - I bought this on in 2010 at the Heisson Store. It is very hard to read and doesn't show some things the old maps showed. It has actually complicate things for me - with the new roads and name changes. Would one of you computer savy searchers find where I stated the chute was red and white? I am going to start searching my early communications with Knoss - but, RED and WHT didn't happen. I will not rule out "BAIT" in the beginning, but I find it doubtful I EVER made such a comment. The only red and white mentioned was in relationship to a chute found in OR. If BK did indeed tell you in a PM that Bill was TOG then we might be able to request BK be banned from the thread. As it stands we cannot do anything productive other than to use our energy and time to argue with an idiot who needs to be in a straight jacket. Waste of time. I personally am tired of answering or using what time I have left to engage the Moron. There are those who got tired of hearing my story - but it was always the same story. If the other posters did not agree they let me know this - but they knew that the things I said are things that really happened. Do these things mean Duane was Cooper? No, but they did happen. Often there were those who thought I was connecting events that had no actual connections. My story was consistent - but, BK's is not and I have come forward with the things I know. When some of the research does not pan out I just let it go. If I bought into a theory - I worked with it and if it did NOT fall in the things Duane told me and what I know about his history - it just went to the 'What If File" in my mind. The things BK has claimed got put in the garbage file in my mind. The only reason I keep anything he posted or emailed to me is to prove - I didn't say this or that. Guys was it not the story a young man told about finding some 20's down in Oregon. Wasn't there something in that story about a red and white chute. I heard that story yrs ago and only in the last couple of yrs it seems this young man now still want some answers regarding the money which he spent on Candy! $20 worth of candy! This find was yrs ago and before it came up again in the last 2 yrs - I had heard the story before (forgot who the source was). I believe I contacted the source or person back in the early 2000's. No one on this thread or any thread or any law enforcement or FBI or friends and confidents - have ever heard me proclaim the color of the chute being red and white. I have only referred to the piece of cloth in Duane's wallet. It WAS NOT RED AND WHITE! I have left the investigation of the chute up to those in the DZ. I know NOTHING about chutes and still have not seen one up close or touched one. All I have seen is pictures. I did see one at the museum in Pensacola. It was an old WW ? chute. Duane pointed it out to me and I could never remember what he said. This was in an exhibit with the Historical Society. Wondered why yrs later when I learned who Dan Coooper was, why Duane was so interested in this chute - but, could not recall what he said when calling it to my attention. I would NOT have even noticed it if he had NOT commented and told me what it was. I hate HISTORY! The one subject I avoided when possible.

Matt, it does NO good to call Knoss out - I have tried to do that since 1998 - and you see what happens. No matter where I go this creep follows and then he causes the thread or site to just collapse. Hate that Georger was put on vacation - he was starting to mention somethings I never thought or expected him to state. Pehaps he was just being Georger, but I do hate that he is gone. He just could not control his anger toward Blevins and most of you know I basically ignore Blevins posts - I do reply once in awhile and we have shared some information. It always pissed me that he used this thread to repeat and repeat and repeat his pitch for his book. Thought that should have been a stipulation regarding the posting, but who am I? I am just coming into say hello tonight and express my opinion about Knoss, but as long as he is here we will never make any progress in finding out who Cooper really was. I toot my subject, but at least I try to be nice and I try to understand the arguments that claim or that is not as I see it or hear it. I will state for the record that I try to tell what Duane told me and what I saw and what I have found. What has been found is too many DAMN co-incidences. There would have been NO use in Duane claiming he was Cooper or showing me those things - unless it was true. He had NOTHING to gain. I had NOTHING to gain and NO ONE has been able to make the mysterious sets of co-incidences go away. The FBI never has explained WHY he could NOT be Cooper. I would think they should at least have provided me with PROOF he was not. I tried to find that post myself as I had tried to get it to load and it just did NOT load - not for me anyway. If anyone finds that post and can successfully down load the map - please direct me to this as I would also like to know where they found that chute. I want to know what the terrain of the area was - and if it was wooded and if there was a tower near it and how level was it. I expect it was NOT level in that area. I had asked for this so a surveyor (who I met and have spoke with) in the area could pull old maps and pics. Even though I do NOT believe Duane took me this far north, I am still searching for the area of the tower that was NOT there in 1979 - and not too far from a set of railroad tracks. If that chute turned out to be in an area that fit that description in 1971...well I will find money for a plane ticket and I won't have to worry about a place to stay - I will be sitting in the Seattle FBI office until they arrest me or hear me out. Maps for the pilots: I just know the Delta Guy I had a long term relationship with arrived in Atl one evening and he had not been able to pick up his new map up on the last major stop that day and they were NOT in Alt when he arrived. He had an Atlanta lay over and left the next morning concerned his maps would not be waiting for him.. He had called and they were NOT there when he left my place. He would NOT be able to fly that day if those maps where NOT waiting for him at the airport. (He has squeaked thru the day before). I do NOT know how he received his maps - this was between 1972 and 1976. I will never forget the day he fell down the stairs (I had a townhouse only a short drive from the airport) - the Door entry was at the end of the stairs - he knocked himself out cold and I called an ambulance because I was afraid he was hurt really bad - I was getting NO response at all. He was still out COLD when they got there. He was a tall guy with big feet and the steps were very small and the stairs pretty steep. He was also clumsy. I fell for this guy - he was shy and he had been hurt by someone in his past (he just could not get over her). One weekend in Dallas I thought he was going to POP the question, but suddenly he was off by himself and shortly after that I was on a flight back to Atlanta. I never forgot that week-end - I thought I had done or said something wrong. We had a snow fight (real snow) and he was playful and we were having such a good time. This was a special weekend - he was getting ready to make a step he had made before and had been hurt. Something just snapped...in this dark room was a small box sitting in front of him, but he just could not talk to me...he was lost in his thought and in the past. I did see him briefly after Duane and I married - as he had an apt in Atl. and I stopped by to see how he was doing...just as a friend. The apartment was wall to wall books - he had crawled further into whatever it was that was hurting him. He had stopped drinking - I guess reading was his substitute for alcohol. This was the sweetest most tender man I had ever known in my life until I met my last husband who died in 2007. I don't know if he ever married or if he is still alive. I will always remember him. Good Grief, here I was trying to explain what little I knew about the pilots maps and low and behold I tell you part of my life. Well, it is what it is and if remembering good and bad times helps me get past the grief of loosing my memories in a box - then so be it. Today I thought I was having a heart attack or something --- I was scared My heart rate was very fast (beating out of my chest). I called the AARP help line and she had me continue to take my blood pressure and the pluse several times over this conversation - telling me to call again if it did not drop or call an ambulance (the pluse rate was sitting on the heart attack line). I told her I had a neighbor who was supposed to check on me. I had taken 1/2 of an xanax before I called her. I told her that my grief was just overwhelming me - and it was tonight I started to let go. I realized grieving over these physical mementos was going to kill me or damage my health even more. I will have to take it day by day - as I am sure tomorrow I will continue to search and to call and work myself into another state - I hope I can maintain myself the way I have for the last 3 hrs. Hr by Hr and day by day. Playing my flute music and doing my own form of movements and deep breathing to bring peace to my mind and my body. Size 8 and 10 with room to spare....getting a little tummy from not being able to exercise and a little flabbly (age related) but NOT FAT. Sluggo was nice and he did lots of things for me - he did ignore the knife and I think it is important and that the thread inside of it might match the cut cords of the chute. No one even checked it out. Great maps, but you guys messed with the time line too much - whose time are you using? Those three miles might be simply the times things took to relay and the time on the other end - who says the clock on the plane or the pilots matched the clock on the ground. or was the person doing the minutes recording the time he put it down and not actual time of message. This is what I have said for a long time - even Homid mentioned something along these line. These time lines shifted the flight path to fit the needs of the FBI to put the money on Tena's Bar and bury Cooper. This is my gripe - everything has been altered to BURY Cooper and put the money on Tena's Bar so the FBI doesn't look so inept. If you guys had done this in 1971 or 1972 - you can bet your phones would have been ringing off the hook with people telling you NO that is not where the plane WAS. You are using recorded time to change space and also a map designation. YOU guys have NO idea which the man was referring to. If this was right in the change you have to go both ways...even if the clock is off just 30 seconds. This is my beef because My knowledge of these things are limited and there is NO way to teach me aviation language at 72. Jo, Come on, you do know what a "figure of speech" is. And now you are claiming that I am covering up for the FBI? The times embedded in the Air Traffic Control transcripts are the most accurate times you will find in this investigation or any other for that 1971 time frame.

I looked at one ring that goes to auction next wk. Not wide enough and not smooth enough. It was all she had....nothing near what I had. Tomorrow going to another place. I ended up meeting some old friends of Duane's at one of the larger stores that rents out space - with lots of vendors. Nothing there. No luck with the Mission or Helping Hands or Salvation Army. I thought maybe I could have stuck it in a donation bag. One of the collection trucks came by while I was recuperating to collect from across the street. I walked over with a small piece and he asked if there was anything else. I had him get the bag out of the back of my car. I can't imagine having put the case in that bag - but considering circumstances I will rule out nothing. I did not know which organization it was - just that it was a White Truck. The neighbor said it was Goodwill out of Pensacola. The Goodwill said they didn't pick-up and was very rude to me. I contacted Helping Hands - they were nice but said all of it gets melted down and they have a gold buyer. I went to one of them today - and all they had out was junk jewlery - so it pisses me off that one of them told me they get boxes of Jewelry all of the time like that - obviously they are not aware of the quality of jewerly I was speaking of. The Salvation Army was the nicest and I have to call them again on Monday. I put all of them on alert about this missing box of gold. When I saw what was out there in the way of gold today - my lost feels worse than it did...why I was so low earlier. I know the driver was not as tall as the other guy (a black man who came across the street and got the bag out of my car). The Salvation Army said they didn' thave any tall black men - I told her that maybe the truck driver hired someone to help him load and unload...they were picking up furniture. I don't remember what story I got from what organization but the rude one was GOODWILL. Well they will get NO goodwill from me every. I will trash stuff first. Waterfront Mission was another one and were adamant they get donations like that all the time and they have a buyer for this gold and jewlery. I questioned everyone of them that they would not give it a second thought if a well cared for box was loaded with NICE and new pieces that they would NOT question if it had been donated in error - especially with NO receipt required. Jo, It really takes some gall for you to sit there on your fat ass and make such statements about Sluggo! How many years did Sluggo spend trying to help you in your search? And, in fact, the time lines are off. If you had been paying attention a couple of months ago, you would have also known that the maps in the supposed jump zone were in error by two or three miles. Precisely - the time lines were CORRECT as they were - NOT how you guys changed them 37 yrs later. You shifted the flight path when you did this...then the flight path did NOT match the reports on the ground. When the news of a skyjack is out there - people do look up. Because of the weather they didn't see much but they did HEAR! Remember there was another flight right behind Skyjack and that is probably the one most heard 20 minutes later - that was along the Interstate. Whatever - I do know that Cooper went down in WA and that there was a tower with a light that you could see from a long ways and it was FLAT land or rolling and timbers - NOT mountains and not near an Interstate but EAST of the interstate. There was another light you could see from the sky even thru a storm (I don't know where it was but since Duane told me about this BIG light) I assume it was up near the damn and lake - his indication to me that his jump site was on countdown from that point. He was counting down from that point - there must have been something else he had or needed. I do know that DUANE WEBER knew every pipeline, every power line and every air strip and every tower - somehow he utilized this information to help him and in an area he knew well. He also knew were every cemetary and every gravel pit and every creek was. He knew all of them. When we crossed an area in Battleground - he made a comment about this and I took a mental note that helped me find this when I was up there. He talked about how far you could walk thru there and where it led to going EAST. Right now I forget what this was called. There was a nursery of some sort near the highway along this large - plain or whatever it was. I remembered a building in 1979 and it was STILL there in 2010. I respect your humor. You know I am wound tight right now. I couldn't even spell last night and the rage I felt was out of hand. With only BK here to post he made everything I said (as screwed up as I was) fit into "his" story. BK is just one example of how the REAL story is so screwed up. I was NOT kidding about a movie. Sluggo and others screwed around with the times and that changed the route....they are WRONG. This map fits all of the known reports of the plane going over. I believe Sluggo's site was a deliberate set up to throw everyone off. Now NO one remembers the route the FBI had pegged with the time lines and sitings. Some super sleuth decides the time lines are off. BULL! The map below is per the sitings and as the FBI proclaimed it in 1971 - I don't know who did this map, but it is similar to some of the other 1st maps. In my logs prior to my every having a computer is my phone conversation with Himmelsbach. I tell him about the dusty blue covered match book with a FORK on it that was in the drawer with the pieces of hardware that I later learned was parts of a chute. I had already had the garage sale and sold this before I found out who Dan Cooper was. I didn't know matchs where part of what they were looking for at that time and I described this match book to Himmelsbach. I described this piece of Plexiglass I now know to be part of plane window. For GOD's sake do they think I was able to contrive ALL of this after only reading a few pages of a book of fiction? NO one LISTENED to me and I didn't get to talk to active FBI back then - I didn't know I could communicate with me. I had given them what I had at the interview, but they never contacted me about more infomation. I thought EVERYTHING I was telling Himmelsbach was going to the agent of record. I wish I had the money to get on a plane and go to SEATTLE and was able to transport all of these suitcase of stuff - and get SOMEONE to listen to me. Yes, I am off on a tangent tonight. I am going crazy - Duane Weber was Cooper and I REFUSE to die until the FBI really looks at this stuff and read the notes and look at the phone bills. Bills a girl barely making it could hardly afford to pay for. I never got to talk to the fbi in those early yrs - just Himmelsbach. I can't go like this I have to finish this and have some time left for ME. There was a jar in the garage that had some other parts of a chiute in it...heaven only knows what happened to that - I probably threw it away. He had told me to keep it, but didn't tell me why. Check this dam knife it had chute cored in it. The thing in the Jar I think was the pull handle amd ot jas a flexible coil to it. along with a hard piece. Go up the mountians to the museum there are pictuers of Nestesll or something like that - look hard and you willl find Cooper folding chutes and building towers and building. The forestry did these fo teh jumpers - these guys wanted to make the grade but they were just helpers. Duane spent lots of time on the ground working the communicattion. He had a good voice and he was good with the phones. When he was working on their phones he was picking apples or packing chutes All Duane had was a pair of lace up work shoes, but he jumped with them off of cliffs to learn to jump. Sick of telling things NO one Cares about. He knew the Bafus boy - the one who died in 1971 doing what he wanted to do. He had another firend buried at Coffey grave yard. and another at a grave yard in Washough. I wish I knew how to make that tape play in the thread. The FBI is in a cycle where the are more inclined to ignore new information available or choose to ignore Cooper altogether. The public gets the impression the continuation of any investigation into the Cooper case is bad press for the FBI and all federal investigative offices. Not a good thing in an election yr. I have noted how the proposed jump site has been altered by this thread. Perhaps they need to look back at the original jump map. The FBI also needs to address the stewardess who spent the most time with Cooper. She did NOT say he was mean or nasty. She remembered him being very concerned about the passengers and crew (how many of the skyjackers gave shit about the passengers and crew)? Cooper did get a little agitated on the ground when they fooled around with the refueling and it appeared they were doing a stall. One only has to look at all of the Myths created by writers and the FBI to "kill" Cooper off. Yet most skyjumper know he probably made it to the ground and safely. The FBI wanted Cooper to be dead and used the money find to try and make Cooper go away. Poof! Well, it didn't work. There were actually NO suspect of value until Weber was presented to them in 1996, but they refused to spent the appropriate investigation into this man at that time. What a mistake that was! How many suspects have risen from the dead since 1998 and then the publicity created regarding Weber as a suspect in the media in 2000. All hell let loose for the FBI. Suddenly over the last 12 yrs - 4 or 5 Coopers have crawled out of cracks. Not one story had the substance of Weber, but the FBI needed for Cooper to GO AWAY. Their choice was the worst choice they could have made - D.L. Cooper. Well, that got blown right out of the water along with the career of an FBI agent (so the rumor goes). Yet, the FBI has ignore the only suspect who could have been Cooper because of WHAT? Did I hear someone say DNA? Did I hear someone say Prints? How many time has the landing zone been changed by media and those pushing their own candidate? Is the FBI supporting the changing the landing zone - just to bury Cooper? Or is it just Cooper addicts not wanting the legend to die...some of them would tell you black is white just to be sure NO one solves this old crime. What other death bed confession where there other than that of Duane L. Weber. The FBI has NEVER EVER talked about that and no one else seems to be able to NAME a man other than Duane Weber who did that. His wife (me) was so naive she didn't understand who Dan Cooper was. Cooper was familiar with the WA area and the FBI refused to look at that part of Weber's life. Big mistake! Not one other person has come forward with a deathbed confession - not one, but the FBI claims others - WHO were they? Only one other which a son claimed after he was quized by a writer after calling a TV program. Amazing after 40 yrs the FBI cannot solve this case! Can we really believe they actually have any solid evidence - or DNA or prints. Has The Cooper Mystery become such a part to the past of Unsolved Mysteries that NO one wants it solved. Who are all of the Deathbed confession suspects? I have never heard of another one other than Duane L. Weber. Trying to attach the old map of the landing zone. Hell, I never learned how to make maps work. All I can tell you is that this original map presented by the FBI DOES NOT go over Tena's bar - and it does go East of Portland. You are the one always making this claim and yet you claim not to be FBI or associated with them. PROVE you have Cooper DNA or that the FBI has COOPER DNA. Start with this: PROVE your statement, regarding the FBI having comprehensible DNA. YOU can't because the crime was 40 yrs ago and collected in such a way it is contaminated. Duh! Georger - exactly what are you doing on this thread. You are obviously intellectually above Jo Weber (myself) who has spent far more than Blevins and more yrs studying only one subject with limited resources and NO help from the FBI regarding the background of one subject - a man who confessed to the crime! I do know about Social Relativity and time shrinkage in an inflationary universe. The FBI has neither the time nor the resources - so it is up to individuals like ourselves to try to find the answers - which is why the FBI needs to make the entire Cooper Files available to the public...no redactions. So Mr. Georger - when you tick me off I like to tick you off because you just hate being called My Sweet Baboon. Whatcha gonna do when the time comes and when the clock ticks down and the footprints prove Weber was associated with a specific WA & OR & ID activity?
