I am repeating this post as I REALLY REALLY need this information. I have surveyors ready to pull their old records, but we NEED to know approx the area within a 2 mile radius. Please help me do this. I could not find the area when I went to WA in 2010 Duane showed me in 1979 were a tower had once been. Since the 2010 trip I made and noted that my memory had not accounted for how far my memories were separated by space or driving time. I did NOT explore this when I was in WA., but have surveyors ready to volunteer their time and effort with the research. If I knew the name of the man who currently owns the property that would make this effort a cake walk, but I know the person wanted to keep his privacy and the exact location was never publicized - at least to my knowledge (remember we do not get Cooper updates in the South). Request Repeated Below: You can pm or email me this information because we all know that a certain individual uses anything he can lay his hands on to probagate his "delusions". What I want to do is examine - why a chute would be buried there. I am sure this has been discussed previously, but would someone simplify it for me. I know there was no pac or harnesses with it.

EARLY 1990 February and March: The bank bag was clearly marked with SeaFirst Bank. Since I am supposedly the world's greatest liar, I do NOT expect anyone to believe me. In a Cooler Duane used between the 2 front captains chairs in the Van - we had a large Cooler we used as a console. It was 1990 and after Duane did some very mysterious things and had disappeared for a few days. AS all of you know - I was the obedient wife and at that time he did NOT want me near his THINGS. We were going out to lunch together and he forgot something in the shop. When he went back into the shop - I opened the container and saw this Bank Bag (I actually opened it up and read what it said on the front of the bag). When he returned to the car I asked him what that bag was and he told me it was a Bank Bag from Seattle. He acted like it was just something he found in a locker he bought-out and ended the conversation. This was during a time after he had started the machine and some very mysterious things happened. Because he was so irrational during this adjustment time - the Dr. suggest he needed some time alone to adjust and asked if this was possible. I am the one who suggested we move the travel trailer to the Shop (the shop was an old house on a well treed lot). It was only 3 block from the hospital. All were in agreement to this arrangement. After he moved into the travel trailor (it was very nice) he disappeared for a time. It was after this disappearance that the SeaTac sub showed up and also this was the time frame his buddy walked into the shop and Duane was counting out around 50K in bills. Not 20's. I would NOT know about this until after Duane's death when the friend shared this with me. This was the same time frame I saw a magazine with the pictures and the same story - that was in the book left in a safe deposit box I had NO knowledge of until after his death 5 yrs later. It might interest some of you that Duane opened that safe deposit box before he disappeared and after he had moved into the travel trailor. It was also after he had obtained a current drivers license for John Collins one day before they picked him up for attempting to do the same thing in the county we lived in. Yet, that same day he had drove to another county and had successfully obtained a drivers license for John Collins. I kept "his" dog when he was gone - he had brought him to the house claiming his dog was missing my dog. The FBI ignored the dates and the valid John Collins ID. Duane disappears for a few days and a plane ticket (one way showed up on my credit card bill). About 3 wks later he drove the trailer to the house and announce he was HOME if I would have him. After that trip - there is money spent (lots of it), he comes home, he settles down. He had gone someplace to a safe deposit box under the name of John Collins and retrive his "things". Among them was some of his family momentoes he must have gotten from his mother after his father died. There were some gold coins - one of which he sold a later. It was more valuable than the other coins. Very little merchandise moved in that shop and yet he always had the money to contribute to the household expenses and very very nice gift for everyone in 1994 - his last Christmas before he died. His checking acount never revealed his contributions to the household during those 4 yrs. He paid cash. He used his small SS checking account to pay other things by check. I found another safe deposit box in our area unclaimed belonging to John Collins - but the FBI would NOT provide me with the information I needed to access that box. I have NO idea what or where it is because now Duane has been dead 17 yrs. GEEZE! All someone has to do it mention the Bank Bag and I am back to telling this damn story NO ONE believes. Sorry, but so help me GOD the accounting above is true. There was no Knoss involved in this and never was. All I have is my word for the above. When Jim was alive I had a witness about the money, but the FBI would not even go talk to him. They never checked our expenses versus monies spent during those 5 yrs, they never enquired about his unusual trip, nor did they check out the John Collins ID which was legal or question why he had done that. If someone would be so kind as to direct me to that post I will appreciate it. Unable to keep AOL up for any lenght of time and you guys know what a POOR reseacher I am. I just want to see the location and mark it on a map with some other things I have marked - want to see if it make sense with Cooper or Walling. I did NOT over anaylze the article Blevins did the way you guys did. What got my attentions was the fact the individual the FBI believed the chute to have belonged to would have had to cross (2) two paved roads to be picked up from the site he was picked up from. If the 2 paved roads statement is correct - this leads me to believe the FBI needs to re-examine the circumstance of the found chute. Remember this Chute was incidentally discovered while CARR was trying to chew my story to pieces. He called me on the way to an interview about the found chute...telling me Duane was NOT Cooper. How co-incidental his call was regarding the Chute find! Carr & the FBI would have gone to any extreme at that time to silence me....That is my feelings if the 2 paved road senario is correct. Most of us are communicating thru email and P.M.s now. I am surprised the DZ has allowed the Knoss thing to go on for as long as it has. If this thread is suddently shut-down I hope some of you continue to communicate with each other and with me...at least to keep all updated as to where they are standing on various issues the thread has discussed over the yrs. At this time the thread is at a stall and we all know who and why. I admire you brave souls who continue try to help the Caretaker. The way I have seen it for yrs is that he is the one who needs a Caretaker. Now the thread is experiencing what I have experienced since 1996. This one is not the first and he won't be the last...to shout his story from the roof tops. At least some of those who contacted me with similar stories and different stories knew when to STOP. There was on man who I have since lost contact with, but his story had a ring about it different from all of the rest. One day if the thread survives and if I survive surgery #3 - I will dig up those old communications. Perhaps some astute researcher might be able to find this gentleman if he is still alive. The FBI dissed his story rather quickly and without any media attention. He wrote them a letter and did some research on his own. He claimed that he spent some time in prison with Duane. I could not make any of this make sense - he had letters he sent me copies of where he had contacted the FBI and a county were he had been encarcerated at in Oregon along the coast line. Now I wish I knew how to find this guy, but I don't. Last I knew he lived in FLA, but he must have moved on. This guy actually sent me copies of communications he made with the FBI and the county jail. This man was sincere and backed up his interest with actual communications. I followed his foot prints and came to the same dead-end he did. The name he used was Doug like the writer who did an article on Duane. At this moment I do not remember his last name, but I have it in my files. If you heard his story - it is a different story than all of the others...the man in the county jail with him - he swore was Duane L. Weber, but was not using that name. I forget how he got in touch with me, but he was the most sincere of those who contacted me. This encarceration in a county jail house was only a short time before the Skyjacking along the Oregon Coast Line. You guys are getting a taste of what I put up with for 15 yrs....regarding this man who calls himself the record keeper and caretaker. I own an old TV with a convertor box and an antennae in my attic. I rarely watch TV anyway. I only have dial-up and cannot watch the clips anyone attaches. Until Knoss is GONE, this thread is useless for anyone. I was a pain, but at least I have never proclaimed to be an expert on anything. Just telling what I did know from Weber and my memories of my life with him. I like the rest of you explored the theories of the what if's. I am serious about needing help with the research in the coming months. I go back to surgery (# 3) in a few wks. I hope I can make another trip to WA, OR and ID before the fall. Have to work around my money, health and hurricanes. This time there will be a focus on only 4 places and there is lots to do (old archived files to search), but at least we know what we are looking for now. The footprints are there - we just need to validate them. Anyone willing to volunteer their time in these archives is welcomed and appreciated. If I could have done this 15 yrs ago, I could have put this case to rest or at least have proven to the FBI that Weber did have a backgound in Wa and was exposed to the criteria that made it possible for him to commit this crime. Most of these file were NOT available to the public even 10 yrs ago and now due to the diligence of historians a lot of old files are now available. If I am wrong about the X pac - then I apologize, but only a slim choice of that. I am not a jumper, but I do know the front pack is a reserve to be pulled in the event of a malfunction of the back-pac which is the main chute. Am I confused? I do not think I am that Stupid, but then the Cooper THINGY has fried my brains plus old age. Sorry: I did not catch that Bruce spoke with the co-pilot's son. I thought it unusual for the co-pilot to speak about this to media. It was a logical mistake since I my only communications have been with the Co-pilot and those were limited over these many yrs. You and Mrshutter and Matt and 377 are the only sane ones left. I don't want to be here, but I also don't want myths to become known as facts in the future. Maybe the next Cooper book will be about the struggles to separate myth from fact - so at least there would be one factual accounting of the incident and the investigation of all of the suspect. Not sure that is even possible - I would vote for 377 on that one as he was alway careful to be objective about all of the suspects. He just could NOT get past the Tena's Bar find nor has anyone else if they really think about it. The only story ever told was told by a woman who had NO knowledge of the crime and NO knowledge of the find other than what was in the newspapers in 1980 and her memory of a 1979 trip to WA - where her husband took her to some unusual places along the Columbia and told her to stay in the car - plus all of the things he did tell her and his confession 11 days before he died in 1995. A yr later she finds purely by accident the name Cooper used was Dan Cooper. Her mind flashes to the incident in the hospital when he got angry because she didn't understand what he was talking about. He told her "I'm Dan Cooooper". She was chastising him and she did NOT grasp what he was trying to tell her. She did NOT know the name used by D.B.Cooper was Dan Cooper.... One Yr Later: Her husband's sudden exit from CO where they were living, the things he did on that 1979 trip, The few things he did tell her about his life and a book that was mostly fiction written by Max Gunther D.B. CooperWhat Really Happened. Had it not been she was trying to discourage a suitor who actually was listening to what she said and had knowledge of the crime, she never would have read that book. She had NO idea who Dan Cooper was until approx May 24 of 1996 - the night she started reading the book. 16 Years later A night that would change her life and not for the better. If anything it destroyed her life and everything it could have been. She accepted this as her mission in life - that it was just meant to be. As she nears the last yrs of her life - she looks back and regrets the yrs lost. Out of the blue everything started to come together and she knew the end was within her reach. The biggest obstacle was how could she prove it - and as the crime entered it's 40th anniversary and that too had passed - she felt defeated. Suddenly there were these hints of footprints (these are small and insignifcant things - feelings and the memories of the trip and the things her husband said to her)....she narrowed her search to the most important things even though the FBI had claimed to have investigated her husband and dismissed him as a suspect. One thing leads to another and then another and the pieces start to fall in place. Suddenly she has to strive to get well enough to make a trip back to WA so she can view what others have found - but, they need more than what they have. She is the key and she has to go back to WA but, doesn't know if this is going to be possible. She is the only one who will recognize his footprints. The "guys" found the direction and remnants of his having been in certain locations, but she has to see this for herself - they need for her to see it. They need to find more. If Carr managed to damage anything about Weber it was his lack of actual digging for information. I sent him somethings and my guys have NOW found what he did not. Carr was a media hound looking to make a reputation for himself. All I have ever done with this thread was try to find information and to learn and to explore Duane's past hoping that someone here would be able to help me acquire more than I had. I didn't jump off the wagon and make stories up to get attention. In no way have I EVER stooped to the level a certain other poster has - YOU, Georger owe me an apology for the statement you made. My story has been consistent. I made suggestions, but never did I do as Knoss does. I explored the different theories with all of you and I did defend myself when I had to. As for the case regarding Duane Weber being permanently ruined - you are so very wrong. This thread made it possible for me to find individuals who have actually been helping me to explore Duane's past. How are you going to feel when we announce Duane's past with the state of WA and OR and ID? Will it prove he was Cooper? More Crap - you were talking to me before 1999! What-ever that has to do with this I don't know but it is worth mentioning. Duane did NOT have a RECALL in the hospital and when he made his confession - he had taken NO drugs for 48 hrs. Even then what they gave him was not strong...he refused them because he did NOT want the Dr. to dispute his decision...when he asked me if I had the briefcase with me - which he proceeded to open and presented to the Dr., The Administrator and the Dr.'s nurse with complete clarity. He pointed out to the Dr. "Note the date on the papers." He had made his decision 5 yrs before what he intended to do when his time came - and had all of the legal papers taken care of. I was unaware of these papers until that day in March of 1995. You, Knoss are NOT upstaging anyone - because this thread knows my story about the hospital has NOT ever changed. AS I have said - PLEASE to not refer to Jo or Duane - we are NOT part of you ridiculous story and we never have been. Perhaps you are pissed because I led you on to see if any of your story could be true - but, you quickly showed your true colors. I was the one responsible for this thread being in History and Trivia. We actually made some advances and learned a few things, but the recent quality of posts and posters has declined. The DZ will NOT put up with this much longer and I am sure Quade is getting a lot of complaints from the DZ members. I have received personal emails - saying the are not reading the thread anymore because of the garbage that has been allowed. It is NO longer about solving the crime and a place one can share knowledge about the case and present theories and suspects. There are those who did NOT believe me and disagreed with me, but I knew when to step back and let you guy do your thing. I will be having my 3rd surgery in the near future - that make 3 in less than 11 months. It seems ashame the thread will end with the garbage spewed forth in the last few months. The DZ was tolerant of the none jumpers who posted, but they do have their LIMITS. I will remind all of you to go back and read the 1st post in the thread.......Quade set down the rules and complaints from the DZ as a whole will bring the thread to an end very soon. Just encase I do have some good news. I hinted at new developments in our uncovering the past and history of Duane Weber. I will be making a trip this summer (if the creator sees fit to allow me to finish my mission). This is NOT a trip I can afford, but something I must do....I told you guys we found some footprints (a verbage another poster hijacked). I really need help from specialists to be with us on this venture. Recently OLD files never made available to the public are being made available. We need help pouring over the documents. I wish I had known in 2010 what I know today. I was looking in too many places and most of what I was looking for was not public knowledge. Remember Duane showed me a book in the mid 80's - it has some pictures in it and I did NOT get to see all of the book other than what he showed me. I never could find the Book and now know it was area specific. Amazing what ONE photo can do for an investigation - one old photo. One old photo opened multiple doors and behind each door was new surprises. We need some help with these doors and anyone who wants to help and lives in WA or OR we could use your help. It is time to end the COOPER Story with or without the help of the FBI. Times change and circumstances change. Might as well get it exact, at least according to Geoff Gray: Grey did not to my knowledge get a face to face interview with Tina, but did speak to her on the phone. The words Grey is guoting came from either the scripts or from one of the other books (probably Tosaw's since he is the ONLY ONE to ever get an indept interview with Tina Mucklow! With the words "Chat him up" that would be Greys attempts toto revitalize an old crime in a way that might involve younger individuals.
