[reply In previous posts here at DZ some people aksed if the holes (and pitting) was the result of high velocity sand (from the dredge pipe)! We went around and around about that. Snowmman finally said "NO!". Unless I am mistaken, Tom didn't seem to find very much sand embedded in the fibers of the paper - which kind of surprised me. That may indicates this paper never encountered high velocity sand...

Paper mites would eat the paper portions leaving the threads of the linen or am I wrong in this assumption. I am just going by old things stored for many yrs in basements and attics (the attic tuff was dry). Moths eat the fabric so doubt it was moths, but the wing of some kind of moth was found - could it be a termite wing. Just throwing things out there for you guys to consider. There was an article from many yrs ago I read about old money being found in the wall of a basement - some of that money was hard and brittle. I suggested this before but do not remember if anyone even noticed. I was thinking mold from being stored in a metal box underground - perhaps under an old storage room or under the house itself. Duane used the excuse of an old lady asking him to move somethings for being dirty (for all I know he could have looked up and old girl friend). Duane disappeared for several hours in The Dalles area I was thinking perhaps the money was buried some place. He had plenty of time - 2 hrs each way with over an hour to retrive stuff. I looked at the areas within 2 hours drive of The Dalles, but not knowing the area had no idea. I have seen old books and other papers kept in basements and underhouses - when retrived did appear log like. Books that have been kept in dark places and packed pretty good would get wet and then dry out over and over for several yrs. These old books looked just like what you describe - all stuck together and dark and damaged with mud and there would be black with holes (I assumed mold growing and then dying when they dried out over and over for 10 yrs or so). They would also have holes caused by mites or mole. Paper mites - remember those things? The natural pigments in the pages turn brown. Paper is made of PLUP - most is bleached to be white and then printed. The paper money is made of contains lots of little fibers so it cannot be easily counterfitted, I do not know what they used in the bills back then. Why I keep saying the money was NOT in the river for 9 yrs. Perhaps stored where it became water logged and dried out and then wet again and in a dark damp place. The place might even have been on the river. I was never able to get the FBI to look for property that was owned on the river across from the PDX - curious who owned it. Did it start with a W or M or N? I didn't have time to do the Vancouver property search of that area - it would have taken more time and better eyes than I have. Just could not afford the time I would have needed to stay in Vancouver. I had volunteers to do these searches - but they would NOT know what they are looking for. I wish I had a list of all of the River owners and manufactures along the River banks from Vancouver to Washoughal from 1946 to 1971. Some of these are NOT in public records by name but owned by groups, LC and Corps and some owned by the county and state. I was never able to acquire such a list. One location in Vancouver across from the PDX. It was an old house that was torn down by the time I was there in 2000 and it had new homes on it. In 1979 when Duane took me there it had been torn down but the trees where still there. He used to KNOW the people who owned the house that used to be there. The FBI would NOT even check this out. Had a name come up that was related to Weber or one that I had heard then we could have pin pointed the area. I know about where it was - but not how to access the records without being there. This is the location where he told me to stay in the car - and he went down a steep inbankment to the river, but do NOT know if he went all the way to the river. I found in 2000 what I thought was the area but 3 new homes had been built there - per the construction they were built from 1990 to 2000. The did NOT seem to be to be in the style of the 80's. I'll never have answers - and since I do not believe we go to heaven or see out old loved ones again - the truth will be buried with me - I was the only key to the past, but NO one has heard me and NO one cares but me. NOT one word have I made up nor have I lied about these things - it get more and more difficult everytime I come here, but it is something I have to do and maybe I will say something that means something to someone. The past has been gone for so long that anyone who claims that SO and SO was Cooper will never be able to prove it without the help of the FBI who does not co-operate with anyone. Other than Cook and that alone spell GOVERNMENT conspiracy. Why? Because he is the only one the FBI talks to and he has filled the heads of the young agents with so much hype it is pathetic. Galen is the boy who sold GLACIER ICE in Hawaii at the ripe old age of 15 or 16. Galen never knew HOW I came by that information. When he first contacted me Gossett was not a suspect - that would not happen until he was on a talk show that the phone call came in. None of his OTHER suspects panned out. He could NOT find Tina on his OWN - he had to use ME to find her. I will never forget his phone call about this - he was not very kind and was very very angry - claiming that I promised to reveal Tina's location in exchange for a photo of his suspect. IT was a cut out of a college yr book with NO name. God was he mad as hell at me - that was several yrs before I gave him information he had to look up in order to find Tina. YOU are a piece of CRAP. I am telling something I have told for yrs....where were you in 1996 when I telling the story to my friends and family and anyone at the FBI who would listen to me and to Doug Pasternac. There are somethings I cannot remember. It takes the right kind of circumstances - hell I can tell you about things from the time I was 3 and 4, but they are limited and the story never changes and sometimes just talking about them you remember other parts of the story as it happened. Such as I called my brother NOT long ago asking him if he could remember a time we were on a train - bear in mind he is 18 months younger than I am, but his memory is fantastic. Better than mine. I had asked my sister because I thought she was with us....but she had no memory of this. As my brother and I talked we both remembered the trip to Ohio and it was before my sister was born - which means I was 5 and my brother was 3. There was a berth provide for children to nap on - back in the day. I remembered what he was wearing and that he would NOT stay down - being a brat. What he did remember that I did not was the purpose of the trip with our mother - to go to the ZOO. Our father came up a few days later on a wk-end to retrive us from our visit with a great-grandmother and her daughter who live with her and to take us all to the zoo. We both in that conversation started to remember other things about that train ride - it was an amazing trip down memory lane for a 3 yr old and 5 yrs old - We had never talked about this and there ARE no pictures....just our memories! I had called my brother because for some reason I could not get it out of my mind. Bear in mind I had NOT talked about nor did I remember that trip until a few days ago! A memory out of the blue one day and it kept bugging and bugging me. First I called the sister - a no go and then I called my amazing brother. Together we walked memory lane with no pictures or remembering any family story about this trip - just the two of us exploring our past. Next time you want to FAULT my memory - find what I said and exactly what you are referencing. When I was underpressure it was hard to remember things, but just like the train trip - things come back to you. Perhaps some day you will get to enjoy this journey into the past - when you are trying to cling onto the present. You will find yourself amazed at what you can remember. I will forgive you for that SLAM, because I happen to know that what I have told is true. Am I delusional or making it up? The story about my brother and I at age 3 and 5 being recalled after all of these yrs is exactly what the human mind is capabable of doing. I maybe recalling something I may have pushed away - because my mind was filled with survival and work and men friends. Now my life is quiet and solitary - I have plenty of time to look back into the past with NO pictures of family affairs to do it with. There was no picture of that trip in the family album that either of us are aware of. I left home at 20 yrs of age and never again saw the family album or what few pics there were of our lives. Next time you SLAM show the proof and then I will show you in BLACK and WHITE and in TAPES these things I have told for 17 yrs......yes, memory does become more vidid as one ages -old memories become the norm and the new memories seem to be difficult to hold onto. Yep and Yep again! It there was the jumper and an assistant on the ground with some communication device to find each other...like the signals the FBI put into some of the othe skyjacker packs after that. I did NOT know of this report, but I have told the FBI since 1996 there was a fence and shed and the tree and he did NOT go down to the river (just along the fenced area and behind the shed) other than the OTHER stop East of Winterly Park and at the Red Lion. Grassy Knoll - Great way to describe the money find. I do not believe the money was planted for the boy to find...that just defies all odds. If a member of the family planted the money they would only be pointing the money at themselves. I believe it was planted and I know I was with the man who planted it. Can I prove it - obviously not. Go for the history and not just for the crime - I think he will appreciate that. Make the story about him and what this has done to their lives along the way. It all felt wrong wrong and the tv program wanted a story - there were too many people to even be able to think. Expect they had been corrupted by JT. I wanted to add something to the post about Tena's bar. When you have a river and trees - the shore line will change on its own. There were trees along that river bank in the area of the find. Was the money find in the open or beneath the canopy of trees. Does that mean anything to you computer geeks and geologist and professors? ANYTHING at all? 1. 1979 there is a building beneath the tree lines toward the gate. Don't take my word ask the Fazio's when the shed came down - a flood I believe is the answer you will get. Where was the money find in relationship to the shed? Ask and you will get an answer. 2. Are any of you familar with trees and the root systems? In 2000 some of the trees where gone and it was more barren than I remembered on the Western side. Some remained in the area the money was found. I am having a hard time remember the 2000 visit because of all of the commotion. If anyone can find a picture of the area around 1979 and another one of the area around 2000 - I would appreciate it. Bet the Fazio's have some pics. Just for the sake of it we need one from 1971 - but, it will not be relevant. Perhaps things grow differently there than they do in the South. What I remember seeing in 2000 was the trees up river toward the (East) was the roots being gnarily and above the ground. Not like the trees on Fazio's property. The big Floods - there were 2 or 3 of those (dates please). 1971 to 2000 - ALL of them! The trees should tell a story - they always do because they live longer than we do. I have NO IDEA WHY I am even doing this - it MIGHT be counter productive if I was trying to prove Weber was Cooper - I just want answers! I would like to see pictures from 2000, 1979 and 1971. List all flood dates that would have affected the trees along the bank and on the fence line at the Fazio property. Trees tell stories - they really do. SSSHHHsss don't tell the trees! Perhaps an arborist in the WA area would be more capable of providing an answer than some one from Ky and Fl. - Climate and conditions affect trees. TREES really do tell stories! I think she was implying the path was further west like Knoss claims, if they are flying south and looked out the right side of the plane and see Vancouver and Portland, they are way east,way east. Rataczak could have been talking about being at Battleground and saying he see's Portland out the right side if he was referring to PDX, that would be correct. I just looked, flying on V23 to Battleground would put PDX just to the right I have SAID the plane was EAST of PORTLAND but West of Cames! I have AWAYS said EAST of Portland and this comes from the witness reports (I have personally spoke to some of those who were still living in the last few yrs). Sure the plane could have made a turn which it did. The witness reports put the plane between Lake Merwin and Yale Dam. Going South there were reports around Kelly Rd (4 individuals in one place). You do know that is a stone's Throw from where Duane took me to the old store in Heisson. Early on I had been known to mention Hockinson (but after I went to WA on my own in 2010 and drove the area myself I found Heisson and realized my memory did NOT compensate for Time and Space in my memory logs. After going to Hockinson - I knew that was NOT the place Duane took me, but the moment I got to Heisson it was like some drove truck into me. My memory condensed things and I was looking at an old map and living in FL. In 1996 I did NOT have a map of the area - just my memory. I figured it was Hockinson after someone threw names at me on the phone. I did not realize Duane had taken me further north - time and space in my memory. I had the correct memory of the place but not the correct name - they both started with H. I knew I had been there and I had been in that store. It had NOT changed. As for Kelly Rd I did not understand if the sound of the plane was E or W of their location. and then on down to the Orhards area....the reports do go Westwardly, but I could not locate all of the name I had...as I was running out of time - my booking to leave was the next day. Duane took me to Meadow Glade where the VOR is and then we went toward but not to Homan. I keep going to Homan in my memory and do not understand why - WHAT was the significance of Homan - he mentioned a vehicle breaking down in Homan.. Now looking at the map that was sent to me in 2010 and one I bought - I see why! The RAIL line goes thru HOMAN - did NOT know this until this moment! We go back to the East and then down to the Scholls airport and Orchards area this is when he gets BACK on the 500 and goes East for a short distance and then we turn around head West on 500. I knew I was missing something, but talking to Sluggo I did stated to 500 from there the Homan area, but I see that is NOT what we did. Letter 1 On November 29, five days after the hijacking, a letter arrived at the Reno Evening Gazette signed D.B. Cooper. The letter was postmarked November 27 from Oakdale, California, a small town 10 miles north of Modesto, California. It was simply addressed "Reno News, Reno, Nevada." The author of the letter cut words from the November 26th edition of the Modesto Bee newspaper. The letter read: Attention! Thanks for the hospitality. Was in a rut. D.B. Remember how relieved the sister was that I was not "that woman" ? ALL of those yrs she thought I was the woman with him in 1971. I always said that letter and the one with the CODE in it to the Reno newpaper could have been the REAL Cooper..... The code is dead on and all I could find on the Reno one was that it did appear in the newpaper and the date. No one knew what happened to the original or the envelope....but it was 35 yrs later that I asked about it....but, they verified the letter did exist. I also know that Cook has been to the river - but, no one knows why other than greed. I won't explain that one. All the communications I made with Galen and then he just duplicated the stories but with a different subject. WHAT he doesn't know is that I have copies of almost every email I sent him - HARD COPIES and on disc. How will he make those go away? All Cook has done for yrs was plagurize everything I said and used my research and hard work to show up in Tina's office pretending to be someone who needed some help - but, tells a different story elsewhere. NO dreging materials were dumped upon that shore line - there was a house and a shed there and trees. The find was back toward the trees and cattle were put out there according to the owner - face to face and I asked the question...this took place infront of Mr. H as the man, and I and Mr. H were walking together. There had been some HIGH water between 1971 and 1979 (I do not know the specifics). Since Bruce spent some time with the owner he might have some more information, but I simply do NOT remember much of the conversations since the crew UPSET me wanting me to get down and pretend to be pushing sand away. Something upset me about the location - remember - I had been there and I had not been there (I sat in the car). The front looked the same and the shed was gone and trees there, but it was all of the work going on to my left looking at the river that made me feel something was wrong. They also took me to the location in an indirect way - and this was not what I remembered, but NOW I know there was another route to that location. I described things further down that road - I could NOT have known if I had not been there before. It was NOT a good time and I was fed up with the Documentary Crew, because they took me every which way but right and ALL at the direction of JT ...something he denies to this day. He did everything he could to discredit me in respect to that doucumentary and it worked. I wonder how they would FEEL if they knew I did go back in 2010 and I found the places - places JT knew about, but deliberately misdirected the crew. I never understood why he did this unless he was part of a cover-up or perhaps he was just plain ignorant. He will say he didn't, but the crew told me differently. He will deny this till the day he dies as he has done repeatedly in the thread. I found the body of water before I left in 2000 - a location any idiot would have known from the description I gave - WHY and HOW could Jerry have NOT known this? A female truck driver asked me to describe to her what I was looking for - and she told me to have my driver take me down the Evergreen Highway and if I had ever been there I would know it - not much had changed from 1979 to 2000. When I went back in 2010 the changes were overwhelming, but I was on MY OWN in a rented vehicle and not having to DEAL with anyone or a camera - just my memories. She told me when I got to the bridge in Washougal - I was on my own - and I told my driver every turn to make - places the documentary did not take me to because of JT's misdirections! The driver was an undercover narco whose life depended on his knowing a liar or a set-up when came across. The driver from what he had read in the local papers was going to take me on a completely different route (all because of JT's involvement). Lake LaCames and the fishing cabins that were no longer there was evident at that time, but now that area is underwater and even the building that was there in 2000 is no longer there. I will go back the late afternoon we arrived in The Dalles area. Duane took me into dinner in The Dalles and told me lots of things about river boats and the area. That evening he told me I could Sleep In because he had something he had to do. He set the alarm for 6:30 and left around 7:30 telling me he would be back by check-out time. Check-out time came and I was frantic. I called the front desk and told them I was worried he had been in a accident or something. The clerk told me not to worry the bill had been paid and the maid was on the other end cleaning - I was going to take my things out to one of the stone picnic tables, but she told me not to. She did contact the highway patrol and they had NO reports of an accident. Within a 1/2 hour Duane pulled up and put my things in the car. He was soid and needed a few minutes to clean-up. I called the front desk to let them know he was here and safe - I thanked her for her assistance and she again said the maid was on the other end so if we needed some extra time - no problem. Duane had a pair blue coveralls he kept in the trunk of the car to put over his clothes in the event he had to change a tire or such. Duane NEVER allowed me into the trunk of his vehicle. One time I asked him what he kept in that metal file cabinet (before we were married)and now I forgot what he said. That item would remain in the trunk of our car for yrs. When I did see some of the contents it was the OLD income tax records from 1969 to until the yr he married me. Those would only have taken up a small portion of that metal file box, because eventually he did bring them into the house, but I never saw them UNTIL after he DIED! Make out of that what you will - I found it puzzling! I did not know they had been added to our tax report files. Duane's explanation was he went to see someone he used to know - I wondered why I was not invited. All he told me was (and I did not remember this until this very moment).... xxxxxxx xxxxx xxxxx I just deleted this portion, but will add - one does not getting that dirty just moving something for someone. He explained nothing else to me. Yet when we got near Hood River he told me a few things about that area and he used to know some guy who worked around Mt. Hood. We did not go there, but this is about where we crossed the River and I now know that to be the Bridge of the Gods. Of course JT claimed we stayed on the OR side, but I found everything I had describe to that xxxxxxx when I went out there in 2010 - two yrs ago. Let you guys fill in the xxx's because what I think of JT just about covers every BAD word I know and then some. I believe around the Dalles or someplace within a 2 hr drive is where the money may have been buried...from 1971 until 1979. He was gone for 5 hrs plus hours that day in The Dalles. I have NO ideas where he went or what he did. He would again disappear on the day before we left Seattle for about 5 hrs. I was worried because that was the night of the FAREWELL banquet and the guys told me when I called their room that they had not seen Duane since noon when they broke up the meeting. They thought perhaps he had gone to a bar and I jumped all over him when he did get to the room and we were past time for the cocktail hour. We did make it down stair before the dinner started. This is when I took the attached photo - I accused him of drinking and he blew in my face and said I have not had a drink but fix me one while I get cleaned up and changed. I did and as I handed him this drink this is what he did - a jump action and screamed Jeronimo. I did NOT know that was a jumper terminology and that the stance he took was one a jumper would have made out the door of the plane. Well, folks - I am very very tired. You guys won't be putting up with me much longer - I just do not have the energy. I heard a rumor today that Galen Cook was at Tena's bar recently, so that makes me wonder what the HELL is going on. Regardless of anything I state - as long as the FBI stands by the DNA and faulty prints system for when Weber was in the Prison System, I will not finish the JOB Duane put on me with that confession. I have not been kept abreast of what a certain group is doing with the pictures I sent them of Weber. I know the infomation was given to 3 individuals along with a short story I had to tell about Duane's days in WA & OR & ID. That was several months ago. It did cause a certain individual to dig up names - I have not been made privey to. The FBI does NOT care and I am tired. Very very tired. I put off going to the store until I have to and my energy is very limited. I wanted to get back to WA one last time and finish my search, but at this time that is not physically in the cards for me, nor do I have the monies to continue to throw into this. I was hurt by the economy like many others in my age bracket. We had a plan for our old age, but some of the best plans have been shattered by the economic of the last 5 yrs. Our homes were supposed to be our saftey net. Now our homes are not worth what we paid for them 13 yrs ago and many of us want to sell and move to a smaller home closer to medical facilities & public transportation. Those homes cost more than our current home will sell for. The senior are suffering with this economy like everyone else.
