I would like to actually talk to him. I've been around him a bunch of times, but never actually talked to him that I can remember. Oh well, I probably wouldn't understand half the stuff he says anyway.

I got a 60G with 50G of music on it for $200. Its got a few scratches on the back and a small "scratch" in the display, but what the hell. It works great and I must say I have been impressed with the battery life. Also got the umbilical cord and a charger.

Mossad: "Best Arab Troops We've Ever Faced" in Lebanon

That is way out of line. You are absolutely correct. Darius11 -- I would like to extend a sincere apology for picking and sniping at you all the time. That kind of behaviour is unbecoming of gentlemanliness, and has no place in this type of discussion. I really do value hearing your perspective on things. When I address your correspondence in the future, I will raise the standards a lot. Thanks, and have great day. Well done. -

I think we're really starting to split hairs here or maybe I'm getting off track. Let me back up. I think this is a bad law because it weakens the authority of the HOA.
-
So 80% of judges would say it is unconstitutional for the government to infringe upon your property rights, but it is ok for the government to infringe upon the property rights of a group of people?

its in California.

Think about what you would write in this thread: http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=2348564;sb=post_latest_reply;so=ASC;forum_view=forum_view_collapsed;;page=unread#unread Now ask yourself why you are pursuing the wrong person.

Why does hell make you vomit?

What can I say? I've raised this rant before, and there's usually a homeowner who feels the way you do who responds...the way you did. Not saying you're wrong, it's just different strokes for different folks. FWIW, when we we home-shopping before we bought our current house some years ago, we did exactly what you said - made a point of avoiding the developments with homeowners' associations and restrictive covenants on the deeds. To each his own, I guess. Because you have a different point of view, let me pose a similar scenario to you. How would you feel as a homeowner who is not a part of an association if a law was passed that said you cannot display a flag on a flagpole on your property?

I have to disagree completely. If you don't want to live in a HOA, don't. No one is forcing you to. It irritates the crap out of me when people do things of their own free will then complain about it. To me, its just like the morons in the military that get all bent when they get sent to war. Don't fucking join if you are not going to like the consequenses. I live in an HOA because I want to. It _does_ protect my property values and there may be some houses in need of some repairs and some dead lawns and some driveways full of oil, but there are no Sanford & Son looking crack houses and that is how I like it.

This should tell you what you need to know http://www.secstate.wa.gov/

This is not true Also not true Depending on your state law (I don't live there) the process may be much easier than that. I know that in CO I could do it in less than an hour and for about $25 (unless they are running the $.99 internet special) A single member LLC is a disregarded entity and will be reported on your sch. C exactly as you are doing now.

It got people to turn their heads and pay attention to the 1000. The series that has really benefitted, in my opinion is this one: http://www.corracing.com/

Hypoxic Endeavors is mine.

Its a whole other world out there and definitely one of the most unique racing experiences on the planet. I thought the documentary was good, but its just like watching a video of a skydive. A good visual representation, but not nearly the same as being there. Here is how your boy Jesse James got his feet wet in baja: http://www.wideopenbaja.com/index_main.html Picture of my bro.

Really? I would believe it. It even got me thinking. Then again, I'm an old school VW guy. Its not too much of a stretch that I could build a VW powered Meyers buggy...don't see me doing it anytime soon, but its a neat idea. "Off-road motorcycling" and desert racing are absolutely not even close to the same thing. I don't think Dust to Glory did the same for baja as Point Break did for skydiving because desert racing is not a spectator sport and far more cost prohibitive to be successful at than skydiving is, but what do I know. Dave - there is actually a stock VW bug class in the Baja 1000. check this: http://www.score-international.com/ My brother is the crew chief for the first place car in the unlimited class here's some cool forums: http://www.race-dezert.com/forum/ This is where you can pick up the link to the weatherman.

I think thats only customary for first timers. Kind of like "beer rules" for triatheletes. Can you imagine how in shape the male population would be if that was the case?

AFTER the race? Shower: make sure you do this prior to receiving oral after the race.........if you are ever hoping to get it after that.

Swim: You will not be in a pool alone. Lots of other people all around you. Keep your head up and try to avoid getting kicked in the face or having your goggles kicked off you. Breathe smoothly. Bike: Don't fall off. I preferred to wear some bike shorts with more coverage than the standard triathalon "speedo with a bike pad" shorts on due to rubbing. Run: When you get off the bike and start to run, your legs are going to feel like they're filled with cement. Relax and run smooth and this will go away. Make sure you get all the sand/dirt/crap off your feet before the run. I don't wear socks on my bike, but I do on the run. I make sure my feet are good before putting my socks and shoes on. Wet, sandy feet inside your running shoes can really suck. General: If its your first one, don't go all out and spend it on the swim. Make sure you have enough in the tank to get you through the run. I did about five before I knew how much I could put out and still be able to run. If the water is cold on the swim, give your legs a little more time to get warm on the bike so you don't lock them up. Make sure you eat good the day before and really hydrate before, during and after the race. With the transitions and all the hooplah, it will turn into a much longer workout than you would probably normally do. Have fun! You will see all sorts of people out there. In my first one, I got beat by a guy on a unicycle and a guy rolling a skateboard.

**ahem** well, now that you mention it... DON'T WIPE OUT ALL THAT MUSIC! I almost posted this thread after my laptop and HD got stolen, and I was left with a few thousand songs stuck on an IPod. But it's yet another question which should have been directed to Google.com first: http://macs.about.com/od/ipod/a/copy_from_ipod.htm?terms=transferring+music+from+ipod+to+computer As it happens, there are several programs out there designed to just this thing. I've heard good things about CopyPod, but XPlay will dump the stuff out in convenient windows folders (complete with cute little graphics!) so you can click and drag it right onto your PC into any category you want. AND it comes in a really shiny TRIAL version that's FREE for 3 or 4 weeks. I'll tell you how I know all this when Apple tells me why they don't want us doing it. GREEDY F*CKERS!!! Thank you, thank you. I gave up my zen for this piece of shit, but it came with 12,000 songs that would take me forever to try to replace. I will check out XPlay. edit: Here's another question: after I use XPlay to transfer the music off the ipod, will those songs be accessible with itunes to use as normal, or will I have a bunch of stuff on itunes and a bunch of stuff elsewhere?

I bought a refurbished ipod with a ton of music pre-loaded on it. Any body have recommendations/experiences with software to get the music off the ipod and on to my computer?

Interesting. I did notice an unfamiliar and strangely twisted towel that smelled faintly of curry in my hamper. Should I call the FBI?

I dont see what these statements have to do with the amount of assets we have looking for bin laden. Classified or otherwise. So, either the president is lying or he is just not as informed about the uses of our resources as you are?
