When the bi-plane at quincy hosed my pictures, they offered me a second free jump with free pictures. When the bi-plane at quincy hose my pictures the second time, they offered me a third free jump with free pictures AND the aerobatic ride. This resulted in a very happy AndyMan, who had three bi-pane rides, two areobatic rides, and a great set of pictures all for the price of one. I don't think they made the pilot cover the cost of my two free flights. Similarly, when I was a financial consultant and screwed up, costing the client about $80,000, my employer covered it and did not dock my pay two years salary. Translation: The DZO should cover the cost of a second free tandem, with pics and video. People screw up. It happens. It's up to the "boss" (DZO) to make things right, at his expense. What about integrating to Barry's db? It would be relatively easy to get some data sharing going on, even if you did it the cheap way by doing a nightly batch transfer of an access database file... although I've never tried doing ODBC in perl. Corrections: only 14 jumps, and one more first. :14:10 I showed up at Eloy at 9:30 am saturday, I was promptly greeted by Vallerina and AggieDave. 7 Jumps saturday, 2 sunday, 7 monday before 2:00pm. Sunday was disapointing because the winds were 7 gusting to 27... I'm not entirely sure on the jump numbers. I'll check the pro-track when I unpack. AggieDave made fun of me for not having a video camera on the weekend. I think it's time I broke down and picked one up. I've just spend the last hour browsing sonystyle.com, bizrate.com, and abuncha other sites... I'm even more confused then before. I've seen the PC1, PC5, PC9, PC110, and PC120. They all seem to be in the pricerange I was looking at. I REALLY don't understand the difference in features - largely because I've never really seen a site that puts them up side by side and compares them. Is it true the bigger numbers are "better"? what does "better" mean? more features? which features? I understand there's a size difference. Does this play a role in riser strikes? In short, I'm asking that perenial question, which one should I buy, dammit? For example, looking here, the pc5, pc9, and pc110 are all identical! What's a guy to do? PC connectivity is important, so is digital stills and UV night shots. I think. When I first put on the Z1, the autible is up on top of my ear on my temple... rather painfull, actually. You'll find there's quite a bit of give in the fabric pockets.
