Actually, "lima" is a file. Cal is a lime. TPM Sister #102

Pricing's not up on the website yet. Any information? TPM Sister #102

I had to quote it before you corrected it just to prove that you're not perfect....just to make Scott feel he's in good company. LOL! Exactly!

*raises hand* Yup, right here. Not even in the general vicinity (unless, of course, you are opposing counsel and then I will try to me you believe otherwise! ). TPM Sister #102

Well you might just have to put up with those pesky ear infections then... Yeah, headdown wasn't a great idea from my ears' perspective last night--but I'd do it again tonight if there was time. TPM Sister #102

I have a very intimate relationship with my tunnel. How can you just expect me to back off like that? TPM Sister #102

I have to agree. It may be awkward, but she hasn't made ANYTHING clear if he's introducing her as his girlfriend and she hasn't corrected him. TPM Sister #102

Just a quick comment to mention that Sartre's far from a detached parent who wants to gripe without being involved in her daughter's education. I took the post just as a place to vent the ongoing frustration of the situation. For those of you who might not know her personally, please give her the benefit of the doubt without assuming that she's expecting the teacher to do all the work. Taking responsibility for making sure her daughter is learning the material is one thing (and I don't read the context of this thread to suggest that it has been ignored); recognizing that not all teachers are good at what they do is another. CONGRATULATIONS, and welcome to the bar!

Great. Now I'll be paranoid every time I go to the dentist. TPM Sister #102

Thanks to both of you! I don't usually have *any* problems with my ears feeling plugged or otherwise, so maybe this is just a fluke. I like the wax better than the regular ear plugs because the stuff actually stays in, but maybe I'll try to cut off the tips of the other ones and see how it goes. It would be worth it if it keeps infections away! (I feel like a 5-year-old. Aren't kids supposed to be the ones who get ear infections???) TPM Sister #102

Yeah, I don't know, but he went directly to the question about flying and the tunnel was the only thing I had to offer. Apparently, it's not uncommon for frequent flyers to have ear problems--but we all know it's not 'cause I'm jumping out of any planes. He still seems to think the effect might be similar, but that's why I'm asking around. I haven't heard anyone else complaining about this. TPM Sister #102

I went to the doctor today because my ears have been bothering me--YES, this does get around to the wind tunnel--and found out that I have infections in both ears. The doctor looked at my ears, looked at me, and said out of the blue, "So, do you do a lot of flying?" He thinks the wind tunnel might have something to do with this. Anyone else have this problem? More importantly, does anyone have any ideas as to how to prevent this from happening again? I'm already wearing ear plugs in the tunnel, of course, and the doctor suggested taking Sudafed before I get in, but I'm not crazy about the Sudafed thing. Then again, I'm not crazy about the pain thing, either. . . . TPM Sister #102

I *am* a dork. I can't help it. (Wait--now I have to go read the Disadvantaged People thread and see if dork-ism qualifies.) But, in any event, that doesn't mean Boulder will be any less fun! The hiking suggestions are all good. I also think there might be a rock climbing gym up that way if you are into that. TPM Sister #102

The BEST Vacation of Your Life...Where Did You Go?

I really loved Spain. Talk about a diverse country! TPM Sister #102 -
I don't cook, but even *I* can handle this recipe! Thanks. Elsa will be happy (just as soon as I get to the store for the ingredients). I'll just have to cut the recipe down to chihuahua size! TPM Sister #102

Good for you and nice job! TPM Sister #102

Same thing happened to me!!! As if I wanted to here that the night before. Some peoples timing is unbelievable. At least I genuinely believe that the timing wasn't intentional. I just hadn't talked to him in about a year, so when the phone rang I thought we were just catching up (no "oh good, he's back" thoughts). Um, yeah, no. I doubt he even remembered it was my birthday, but it still sucked. I hate moments like that. At least they pass. TPM Sister #102

She is extremely lively and energetic, but not high strung and not a yapper at all. She could still be high strung and a yapper, and I couldn't say a word. I have a chihuahua. TPM Sister #102

I think she's precious, too! I would get a dog like that in a heartbeat. But I still hope she has a lot of attitude to pull off that look. TPM Sister #102

I once got one of those calls . . . the night before my birthday. Argh! On the other hand, now it really is your new chapter. It'll get better. TPM Sister #102
