  1. How fun! That looks great! TPM Sister #102
  2. QuoteHow do You find a Lawyer? (No such thing as a "Good" lawyer) Hey!!! There are a few of us on here who aren't inherently evil. We work up to it. TPM Sister #102
  3. Don't worry about it. Truth is a defense. TPM Sister #102
  4. Your local bar association probably has contacts if you don't already know someone in the legal field. You might also do a Google search to see which lawyers in the area may have written some recent family law articles. It doesn't MEAN that they are good lawyers, but if they are publishing articles on a topic they probably know the area fairly well. You might also check with some of the local law schools to see if any of their professors are practicing attorneys in this field. Even if they can't help you themselves, they might have some good recommendations. TPM Sister #102
  5. *Whew!* He's okay! TPM Sister #102
  6. ROFL! NO need to warn me off; I know too much already. I just thought the darkness went all the way through. TPM Sister #102
  7. Play with the lawyers by giving them random facial expressions so they wonder which way you're leaning. TPM Sister #102
  8. I hope that's all it is. Against my better judgment, I might be forced to start liking the guy and thinking he's not so bad . . . but really, I know if he was in his right mind it would be nothing like this. TPM Sister #102
  9. I have to admit that I only know Andy from his posts but I found this one strangely disturbing. TPM Sister #102
  10. I think it depends upon the field you're in. Some professions are more relationally driven and it's EXPECTED that you'll build more of a personal relationship with the client/customer. In those situations, personal conversations aren't necessarily taboo. TPM Sister #102
  11. I stopped talking about anything skydiving-related at work the day my whuffo boss "corrected" me in front of the entire firm to tell me that jump altitude could not POSSIBLY be 12,500', because that would equate to well over 17,000' above sea level and it would be too cold and require oxygen. I tried to explain but he was adamant, so I decided that was one battle it was better to let him win. Oh, and he's the one who initiated the conversation. But, that was definitely the last time I decided to go there. TPM Sister #102
  12. ________________________________ Ay?! I think you said that with an accent. I would've said "eh?!" (This is meaningful input from a non-Canadian.) ____________________________________ I kept running that through my head and decided on that 'spelling'. I appreciate the correction. I've asked a few Canadians who I've had the pleasure to meet and they all kinda laughed about it and didn't seem to know of any 'correct' spelling for that expression. I'm still, in the 'dark'. Chuck Hey, Chuck, I'm not correcting ANYBODY! I'm just teasing you. I've been to Canada ONCE and that was to Montreal (although I get bonus points for that, as it was for a hockey game), so I'm not about to start the Great Canadian Spelling Debate. Those Canadians can spell it any way they want and I'm good with it! TPM Sister #102

  14. Midland . . . same as everybody else. It might be true, though. My dad once had a client who lived out of state and said it was strange to call Colorado because we all have "tv voices." TPM Sister #102
  15. Okay, I object!! I've SEEN you in the tunnel and you are doing great. It's not going to be long before you have it down cold, not to mention unassisted. TPM Sister #102
  16. Her hair isn't normal. She can shove it all under a helmet and it comes out looking perfect. For the spikes, though, she's gonna need a helmet with holes in the top. TPM Sister #102
  17. WHAT?! Oooo, let's test this trust thing out!! It's good to have a realistic experiment. Do tell!! TPM Sister #102
  18. *Tisk, tisk, tisk.* You do REMEMBER what it is that I do for a living? Okay, seriously, I consider that a real privilege and I will do my best to live up to the compliment. It goes both ways, too. It has to. YOU KNOW FAR TOO MUCH! TPM Sister #102
  19. Jennr8r is right. You're not as black and white as all that. Besides, you trust a lot of people every time you jump--the person who packs for you, the pilot who gets you to altitude, the other people who are on your load, your coaches. . . . I suspect that you meant trust in a more relational sense, but if you didn't trust people in the first place it would be really hard to be a skydiver. Caution is good, and I'd say you're more cautious than distrustful. TPM Sister #102
  20. Uh oh! Somehow I thought there was something new there! TPM Sister #102
  21. Those are great! What did Sherpa do now??? TPM Sister #102
  22. Why you'll love a Taurus: Romantic and sentimental, a Taurus can provide you with the security you need. And you both share a fondness for the finest things, from great food to luxury vacations. Why a Taurus will love you: You have the honesty and direct approach that down to earth Taurus desires. And enough elegance to show a Taurus a few new decadent delights! TPM Sister #102
  23. "Dizzy" by Tommy Roe. It would've been better if it had been dizzy.com! TPM Sister #102
  24. I voted for push-up, but mine were always cherry.
