I've seen that in a yellow book titled something like "worst case scenerio survival guide". Some of the stuff was alright and made sense. But this parachuting topic was like way out there. I guess it really was meant to be taken with a heap spoonful of salt.

I wore a ski helmet when I started. It wasn't as low profile as the z-1 I wear now. It sticks out so much I kept banging my head on the door or wing of the c-182. And during freefall, it lifts. I came across a used football helmet at a Goodwill and thought of turning it into a camera helmet. But the thought of it's bulk made me reconsider. So. I bought me a Bone Bond and in 6 months I'm getting an Optik.

OK. I'm going to try it this weekend. I'll just tuck in my booties, or jump my old suit. So I typed "knee flying" in google, and found an article giving some idea on getting started.

Very cool! I guess it is very possible to freefly in an RW suit. Has anybody tried it by any chance?

Skydivers can do anything!!! Short of changing the weather. But my point is you can.

I started on the static line program because it was less expensive. I've heard that AFF will get you jumping solo really quick. Depends on how fast you want to go though, and how much money you are willing to spend. Your progression is not only dependent on your ability, but also on your relationship with your instructors. And instructors are suckers for BEER! So to get their attention, you know what to do...
