Corkscrew was given by a co-worker. When I was a student I had a hard time getting past 20 sec delays because I had a built-in turn. I told him about my frustration and that's what happened. Nothing beats Hooty Mc Boob

At the current price of my company's stock, I'd be glad to accept jump tickets anyday.

I remember watching a scene of the Swedish world record that's similar to what you've described. Boy can they track.

Quote That was the same advice that was given to us during Mike Ortiz's freefly camp during the Summer Solstice boogie in Alaska. I've made it a point to take a quick glace over my shoulders even after waving off ever since.

The only thing talked about was how I liked the sixth guy flying over my burble and bouncing off me. I didn't even remember that happening. I guess because the jump was a success we talked about the good and funny parts. Had it not been for this post, I probably would have forgotten. Now this will be something to keep in mind in all skydives.

Posted on Talkback and posting it here for relavence: Never used tube-stows because bubber rands are cheaper. Funny thing about bag locks, I experienced one on my sub 10 freefalls. Also from a hop-n-pop. The chute finally deployed on it's own, so I guess it might have to do with deploying at sub-terminal. Now the rubber bands on them student rigs were the black kind. The DZ recently switched to the yellow kind because the black kind doesn't break as easily after certain stretch length, thus causing bag locks. You might also want to check you pilot chute. I imagine that if F111 canopies loose their ZP-ness, I'm sure the same applied to F111 PCs. Your best source of info I think would be from your rigger.

The weather in Kapowsin at this moment: 68 degrees 11mph WNW winds 10 mile visibility 60% cloud coverage 20,000 ft ceiling Nice day to jump if only the DZ was open. See you in Molalla this weekend!

Read all about it http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/national/apus_story.asp?category=1110&slug=Pregnant%20Pigs 2 questions come to mind: - Will there be a battle on the ballot count? - Will this protect farm animals from Clay?

My goal is to be an executive officer of some jackass corporation. That way my compensation will be inversely proportionate to the work I do.
-
That's why I'm sticking with a 170. If I need more performance, I'll gain weight. I need a more forgiving chute, I'll lose some. No need to buy a new chute that way. Save the cash to buy more jumps.

'Coz I was the center guy in an open accordian with 3 guys behind me (one on each leg, and the third grabbing on to each of the other 2 guy's legs) ,and 3 guys in front of me (one on each arm, and the 3rd guy between the 2). It's one of them dirt dive in the plane kinda jumps. I know it's bad and there's no excuse and I promise I'll never do it again.

Off the FF topic since the only time I freefly is when I'm unstable this is what I did over the weekend, so please tell me if I did the right thing: It started out as a 7way and I don't recall an agreement on the breakoff. At 4500 my dytter went off. Instead of turning around to track away, I let go of my grips and waited till everyone who's hanging on to me let go. Then as I turned to track off, I see 3 other people above me and I'm in a pretty tight spot for horizontal seperation. So I stopped my track and waited for the 2nd beep (at 3000). Still I made sure that no one was above me by looking over my shoulders before waving off and pulling. I know that one should always track away before deploying. But in this case, I stopped my track to let others track away from me because of my position. Is this cool?

Ahhh... the good old whuffo days.

I wear the x-ray vision kind and you not wearing any underwear is making me go blind

To bringing a case this weekend. Spinning off the USPA licences thread, I looked up Rising Fallers in the latest Parachutist, and I was 1 number short of being listed for the B. Beer money saved = get an extra jump. YES!!!

Are we still in 2002?

You've never met a chick from anywhere you didn't like! That includes farm animals too!

'Coz it's a better deal. At $18 a jump, that's $1368 more I'd have to invest where I'm at. Better that money go towards a D than a C. Boy. Now I'z got to figure a way to come up with that kind of cash before the deadline. Think I can make 76 jumps in 9 weekends? Think the wife will let me?
-
The wife won't let me and I'd rather go home to her.
-
You're not that Swedish blonde are you? Or is that picture really you?
-
I better get my C by the end of the week!
-
Tee should just jump and get that tandem rating! Is it going to be a boy or a girl?
-
Married men do it without condoms!

Gee. When his penis starts to shrivel, I guess the company would go bankrupt or it's stock might tank.
