My buds and I used to do it in college in the 14-story dorm. There were two elevators in the shaft, and it could be really scary if you were on the one going down when the other passed going up. We discussed it drunk, but we had the good sense to wait until we were sober to try it. Make sure you keep someone inside to redock you at the top floor so you can get off. One time two of us were stuck on there for about an hour waiting for someone to get on, then we had to ask them to hit 14 for us. It was a good thing we did not get busted that time, because I am sure we would have gotten in a ton of trouble. All that being said, it is a good way to get killed. Yellow cable sucked through cable end thread

I remember a thread about the yellow cable being sucked through the grommet on the end of the cutaway cable housing a while back. I think this was on a tandem rig. I have searched for it but cannot find it. Does anyone remember the details or why this could happen with a correctly assembled 3-ring assembly? IIRC, it had something to do with the white loop being long enough to let the 3-rings flip down over themselves. Thanks. Brent ---------------------------------- www.jumpelvis.com
