I say no. This is a business investment, and your credit cards charge you interest at a consumer debt rate. They are a very expensive way to finance a business. If you need money for something like this, go to a bank, not a credit card company. Financing risky items at 21% is a tough row to hoe. Brent ---------------------------------- www.jumpelvis.com

Does "arrest" mean the same thing in the UK as it does in the US? Were the first two "brought in for questioning" while the more recent guy has been actually charged with a crime? Or, as two peoples separated by a common language, do Americanners hear different things than Brits when I hear about people being arrested? ---------------------------------- www.jumpelvis.com

Since Riddler only visits my dropzone when no jumping is going on, I'll take this one - Let's say you earn a dollar. You want to buy a candy bar that costs a dollar. If you buy it, you have the candy bar, but you no longer have the dollar. Now let's say you find it on sale for $0.99 instead of a dollar. If you buy it, you have the candy bar and $.01. It's as if you earned an extra penny! ---------------------------------- www.jumpelvis.com

>>The H&R Handygun is classified as an AOW (any other weapon) which is a title 2 weapon. You need to file a BATFE form 4 and pay a 5 dollar transfer tax on the weapon in question. Then you just need to wait about 90 days for the BATFE and the FBI to run your background checks and viola you own a title 2 gun.

I think people have a knee-jerk tendency to label as idiots those who make different personal choices with regard to acceptable risks. I know people who ride motorcycles who think anyone who rides without a helmet is an idiot, and I know motrocycle riders who ride without one. Some of my non-jumping friends think I am an idiot for skydiving, and there are lots of modern skydivers who would say that people who routinely pull low are idiots. All that said, BASE jumpers have a different risk tolerance than skydivers, so I guess it is human nature for some skydivers to think that they are "wrong" for that. For my part, I think BASE is pretty cool, and I am glad you guys are enjoying it. If I ever find myself on top of antenna with a BASE rig, I'll probably wait for the fire department to fish me down, though. Brent ---------------------------------- www.jumpelvis.com

I'm with Nightingale on this. I find it odd that the relationship that your ex thinks should suffer because she has formalized her relationship with a new guy is the relationship between her daughter and her father. Brent ---------------------------------- www.jumpelvis.com

More likely the former, although I disagree with Kallend's assertion that there is no liberal bias in the media. ---------------------------------- www.jumpelvis.com

You have a strong personality that likes to take risks if the rewards are worth it. You don't like being told what to do and prefer to take matters into your own hands. Preferring a more casual appearance, you are more comfortable in jeans and a t-shirt than in a suit. You don't like over dressing for any occasion, although you never look scruffy. You are aggressive in business, but tend to take the backseat when it comes to your personal life. You are more comfortable talking about work than relationships. You are a very practical person. It's more important to you that the things you own are useful, rather than nice to look at. Business often takes priority to social occasions. You are aggressive in business, but tend to take the backseat when it comes to your personal life. You are very considerate. Friendship is the world to you, and you are friends with everyone. Be careful, as sometimes this works against you if you are too trusting. Hard to say if it is accurate for me or not - I think all of these are probably accurate for everyone at times. ---------------------------------- www.jumpelvis.com

I was a safety officer and sometimes "school teacher" in an active shooter response drill for one of the local police departments here. Also got to attend a lecture from an FBI bomb squad guy that was held before the school drill, which was pretty cool. Brent ---------------------------------- www.jumpelvis.com

I voted for #4, but to be honest, it does not matter what we think. Get the one you like best. If you must have my opinion, though, I would use less yellow and more red and silver. If you ever want to resell it, the red and silver will go with more people's stuff. Brent ---------------------------------- www.jumpelvis.com
