    Incorrect, Rob. All USPA IAD and SL instructors must now be "coach" certified. Those two check dives clearly check you out on both proximity and use of hand and arm signals. Personally, I am all for tandem-hybrid instruction. Three training tandem catagories, then straight to a Cat C, dive 2 (AFF system) would work perfectly for the dropzone who chooses to follow ISP to the best of their ability while dealing with instructor shortages.     Body position, body position, body position. Look over either shoulder during the pull and you are asking for it. Don't put your knees completely together and collapse the leg wing completely during opening and you are asking for it.     You appear to know nothing about Eugene's fleecing of the skydivers during Dias De Independencia over the past couple of years. Feel free to peruse our forums and read some first-hand reports. As to your report that the Canadians are the only other country in possession of Dominican wings, that's a crock. My 3rd Special Forces Group unit all has them, as well as the Dominican Military Academy Instructor Badge. Perhaps you are talking about something else. Chuck Blue D-12501
