    If you are already reconsidering,then you already know the right answer, go bigger. I would only let some one convince me to up-size, but never down size. Personally I love my pilot, it open great, flies awesome, but still has so life to it when you want to fly it hard. It is a very forgiving canopy, so far.     There isn't all that much to straighten out, you do have a SIM right? It is all right in there, including the cards with the objectives that you have to complete.     What *sensation* are you referring too...? A roller coaster type sensation? That is almost non existent in sky diving. You are already flying forward in the plane, so unlike a roller coaster you don't rapidly accelerate, you just change direction.     It depends on the card, I believe the Integrated Student Progression involves a number of coach jumps. Other skills can be signed off without a coach, like canopy drills (riser turns, etc). "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P

    I am a hop and pop whore... especially when the plane is packed with tandems... and I can sit right next to the door and escape quickly. The fun to cost ratio is probably the best deal at my dz... especially when you turn it into a hop.... delay delay delay.... pop.     Select conditions are most likely going to be a DZ other than my home DZ until I get the skills nailed. We have a SMALL field, surrounded by a small forest, and a 8 foot tall barb wire topped security fence. Ripcord's ebay add was the one that caught my interest, the gear looked very nice.     Hey every one, I have been really interested in doing a couple of PC jumps every since I started learning the sport. For me I am drawn to check out where the sport has come from. I see them now and then for sale, but I am not sure what the going rate would be for such equipment. Assuming of course that the gear is safe, and in good condition, with a fair amount of life left, what is a fair price for a Mark I, complete with container, and belly wart? Do you think it is silly that to spend the money on gear that I could only jump in select conditions, and only several times.     I have an optima, but I am sorry for flying your pattern I find them almost useless. How hard is it to glance at your altimeter as you setup the patern. The only time I even paid attention to the Optimas canopy alarms was when I was backing up in a 30 mph wind. I already knew I was hosed. 1K beeeeep.... YES I KNOW I AM NOT WHERE I AM SUPPOSED TO BE 600 beep beep beep.... I KNOW I KNOW 300 beeeep beeep beeep.... SHUT THE FAWK UP!!!     I look at a point between the horizon, and below my feet. Not straight out, not straight down. Practice flares up high, and remembering to finish the flare will help. "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P
