Yes, it is quite amazing! The awe of a new father is so sweet to see. But don't forget, the help of a father, new or old, is what's gonna keep you out of the dog house!! Seriously, you both will need a break after a while even though it's so exciting now, so if you are fortunate enough to have family or friends around to help you, let them. A newborn is wonderful but sooo exhausting. My brother's son is going to be a year old next week, and I remember it was so cute when I went to see them in the hospital with a newborn - he was so happy and into it, like you. And when my new nephew started to squawk and my brother said "Oh, I have a trick...hold him like this, he loves it!". I had to laugh, I said "He's not even 24hrs. old and you have tricks?!!". It's a precious time for you and your wife now, savor it. Well, yet another woman's perspective coming at you (the other's were great)... it would be good if you asked her out first. Chances are if she doesn't want to go out to dinner with you, she won't want to marry you. While out at dinner, compliment her - her choice of outfit, for starters, some great thing you noticed she did at work, etc. Maybe tell her about your love of skydiving before you tell her you want her to be the mother of her children, on the outside chance you'll freak her out and she'll get that restraining order, or at the very least report you to H.R. Then after a great first date, ask her out again and build on what happend on the first. In other words, like some of the others previously mentioned, go slow w/the declarations of love and see what comes of it. Good luck!

Ahh...now that's a desk I understand! Not so slobby but not so neat that you can't think - I have to spread out across a desk when I work. Eventually I'll clean it up when I'm done w/a project, but while I'm working on a paper it's alllll over - even if it takes me 2 weeks to get it done, during that 2 weeks I know what the piles mean and where everything is I need to locate. Congratulations...I'm starting a new job hunt today after a run-in w/my boss yesterday. I had been thinking maybe it was time, and then yesterday it became clear. I've been to Panera plenty, but what the heck is a Cobblestone?? I've probably eaten whatever it is but didn't know it was called that. I loooove their Blackbean soup!! I love this...makes me wanna go out and buy a bunch of Allman Bros. C.D.'s - I've always meant to but never have for some reason. Every time I hear Sweet Melissa or any of their other songs I think "I gotta go buy that c.d.", but then never have gotten to it. Well, there's nothing too crazy or inventive in my name. When I started skydiving one of the doctors I work for asked "Are you gunna jump this weekend?" and I'd say "I'm gunna jump!". So when he'd see me on Monday, he'd check in w/me to see if I actually jumped (he said I was crazy, but I think he secretly envied me - he was always so curious). Anyway, he started referring to me as "Miss I'm Gunna Jump!" as in "Miss I'm Gunna Jump has your prescription, Mrs. Smith - did you know this girl jumps out of perfectly good airplanes for fun?? She'll also help you schedule your M.R.I. and while she's at it she should schedule one for herself, don't you think?, since she jumps out of airplanes - I think there's something wrong with her brain!". I tried another name when I initially registered, but for some reason there was a delivery/verification problem and it wouldn't go through...after 5 attempts I had to try a new name and went w/this one. It went through...

Yeah, there's a reason they call it "Whole Paycheck." ...I'm a big Trader Joe's fan for that reason, so if you have one near you check it out. Lot's of fun stuff and the organic if you're into it. But even the more mundane - like a box "Trader Oh's" (their version of Cheerios) are like a $1.99 for a large box! Cheerios at the grocery store is almost $6/box, depending where you go - it's insane. And they have a great taste - it's not generic stuff. RANT JOINER!: I'm with ya here - I can't stand gloss, gave it up years ago. I don't know what the men here will say, but any man I've kissed when I did wear it always wiped it off after they got a taste of it. Blech! It's sooo thick and gooey - it's like it's suffocating your lips. I'm not against lipstick, or liner for that matter, but I can't stand that 2-toned look either...it's suppose to blend together if you wear it to subtly enhance your lip-line, not make it look like a little kid w/a crayon got to you. And as for the trout-pout, you're either born w/pouty lips or you're not. If you try to make it happen it never seems to look right - like most face lifts; you certainly look different but not necessarily better.
