With the unfortunate accident in Co. on the PST, there was a lot of discussion about 'tension knots' being possibly part of the problem. I looked over the thread titles and didn't see one about this, so if it's post somewhere already let me know...if not, would someone please briefly explain what exactly they are and how they develop (if known), i.e.,bad packing, bad body positions at deployment or just bad luck with a mal. Congratulations - 12yrs. these days is pretty amazing. You have every right to be proud, and here's wishing you many more yrs. of togetherness!! I love that wedding picture - I always think military weddings w/the uniforms and crossed swords are extra romantic...very sweet. I can hardly wrap my mind around this concept. I know I couldn't do it knowingly, and if someone said that is what I'd just ate, I'd hurl. There's no way I could have a Hanibal Lecter dinner, even with the Chianti and Farva beans! I know PETA doesn't agree, but human beings should make the menu, not be on it. That said, you never really know what you'd do until that Donner party moment comes, especially if you have children w/you that you are trying to save. I pray to God I never know. I'm so nauseous right now thinking about it - YEEEECK! Same here - everytime I see the pictures he's posted I think to myself "I have to go there...". Now I've definitely decided I'm coming out, just have to figure out when I can make it happen.
