the left tends to operate from an emotional position. When it comes to straight logic a lot of their arguments can't stand, therefore they like using wedges. If they can get an inch now, pretty soon they will try to get another inch. A semi-auto "assault rifle" is no more deadly for killing someone than a single shot .410, if that is your intent. It just looks evil, therefore that is their wedge.

What's 70 years against eternity? You just have to walk the line for a short period of time, according to a certain set of rules and after that you're truly free. Imagine what this world would be like if there were no law, no law enforcement, and no punishment for crime.

I've been chopping ice at the end of my driveway all day so I can get my car out, and what just started to fall......more snow. Now I love snow as much as the next person but my sports car doesn't and I want to go to the grocery store, I need egg nog and junk food. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ya gotta love Florida. If it were legalized, which I don't have a problem with for medical purposes, some employers whould have to have mandatory testing just for the saftey of all employees. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- There are jobs that require split second, decision making ability to keep other members of the team safe. There's no time to say, "wow man, what are we supposed to do next."

I doubt if she'll last long on The Veiw. I've tuned in a couple of times since it's become The Rosy Show, but she just grates on my nerves. She is exactly what you see. A loud mouthed, obnoxious, unhappy lesbian. Meridith Viera exuded femininity and sensuality, and was easy to watch. There is no comparison between the two.

So why add one more to the mix. Back in the day [late 70's] when some hi grade stuff was starting to show up,I barely remember driving up an exit ramp that I was very familiar with, because everything looked like everything else. Depth and time perception get screwed up. There are some jobs where a person has to be at the top of their game every minute. If it were legalized, which I don't have a problem with for medical purposes, some employers whould have to have mandatory testing just for the saftey of all employees.

Isn't that the mentality and the downside of socialized govt? Don't worry about it. It's paid for. It is human nature to do the least amount of work as possible. I never have to tell myself that it's time to sit down and rest for the remainder of the evening. I do have to go through a mental drill to put my running shoes on and do 5 miles.

This is an excellent example of what I am talking about. Marriage has been the same for centuries. Along comes a group who have an agenda and want to twist and pervert the meaning of marriage. If two people want to get a lawyer and draw up a contract between themselves to do as they please, whether they be two lesbians or two beer drinking rednecks living in a trailer in the woods, go for it. Just don't call it a marriage. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Because a group who considers themsleves a minority, and has an agenda to subvert societal norms, they hijack something that has stood for centuries as the beginning of a real family[man, woman, children] and make it something it is not. Because they are a "minority" we are just supposed to bend over and take it.

My point is that if someone is actually occupying two seats, they shouldn't be offended when the ticket agent insists on selling the person two seats. That person is the one being rude by not accepting obvious facts.

Yea, but we are getting to the point where we can't even make a joke about someone riding the short bus. Some people get offended even if there isn't a retard in the room.

Here is an excellent example. Someone weighing 350lb. buys one seat on a plane, but occupies 1 1/2 seats, leaving me with only 1/2 of a seat. He's not supposed to have to buy two seats. I'm just supposed to keep my mouth shut, and ride 3,000 miles in 1/2 a seat. After all, he just can't help himself.

I believe that the majority are bieng held hostage by the few. As seen in the thread about the English serial murderer, the word prostitute is now inappropriate to describe a prostitute. We can't call someone fat. Obese is becoming a dirty word. How about calorically challenged? First it was Negro, then Black, and now African American. We have to have a fancy word for everyone who does a dirty or lowly job just to boost their ego. It seems to be snowballing.
