Let me guess. You're one of those who gets up and leaves the stadium in the third quarter because the team that you are rooting for is down by six points and you just can't see any way that they can catch up. Of course, you use the excuse that you just want to avoid the traffic.

The problem here is that some people follow decorum and expect to be able to hear the child's name announced publicly. The ignorant ones only care about their own kid and screw everyone else's. And yes, I'll join Warped in his thinking except that I'll say it. It's mostly blacks with a " I've been held down by the man for centuries, and ain't nobody gonna tell me what to do." attitude, who don't give a shit if anyone else is actually able to enjoy the activity.

The concept of logic requires borders and finite definitions. Is the concept of infinity;i.e. worlds without end; logical? If you say that there are worlds out there beyond what we can see through our current technologies, then you do so by faith, thus abandoning logic. How can faith and logic exist within the same mind?

There are any number of people who have taught that we should be kind to others. Why didn't they get hung on a cross? Maybe his message has a point that pissed a lot of people off back then, and still does. Otherwise, there would be no reason for the derision.

I can set my clock by the consistency of our solar system. It may as well be. I seldom consult it for my daily schedule. Next year it's not going to be 365 days, 4hr. and 3 sec. is it? That would make it longer, wouldn't it? Logic would say that is wrong. Who's the boss in this relationship? The Earth or the Moon? And you know this how? Has all of this been factored into the global warming equation? Slower earth=less wind=higher temps. Besides which, what are you doing talking about solar systems and planets orbiting the sun? The church would have burned you at the stake if you'd been spouting that heresy a millenia ago! The concept of time is only for the purpose of man's convienience. Apparently, we are the only creation in nature who needs it. The birds always know when it's sunrise, and when it's spring or fall.
