    My wife and I tell each other at least a dozen time a day and it's not reflex. We mean it. Like was said earlier, you never know if it's the last time you will get to tell someone. If you love someone, let them hear it. I may be getting old but I got to see all the cool bands.

    All I can say about this is 30 yrs ago I thought that our country would have overcame their stupidity about pot by now. When is our government going to pull their reluctant heads out of their fat asses and decriminilize weed. You would have thought now that our generation is pretty much in power that this war on reefer would have been over by now. This is not to say that all recreational drugs should be legal. I don't feel that way at all, but it's time to stop busting people and filling our jails and prisons with pot smokers and make room for the criminals that should be there. I may be getting old but I got to see all the cool bands.

    On jump 16 I went from a Manta 280 to a Trithalon 190 which put me at a 1:1 wing loading. I'm not saying it is good for you but it worked for me. I have no intention of downsizing at all anytime soon. I love things just the way they are. I'm also quite conservative under canopy. If your S&TA seems to think you are ok then I would probably trust their judgment. This is just my opinion. I know nothin. Been nowhere. Done nothing. Seriously though, good luck and have fun. I may be getting old but I got to see all the cool bands.

    Sorry but if you ever thought you were buying any thing but tap water you are sadly mistaken. I wouldn't give a penny for a bottle of water unless i was dying of thirst. My home water comes right out of the well in my back yard. I could bottle it and call it anything I want and be a millionaire. I've been telling people this for years but nobody listens. I used to work on a water well rig. We drilled a well for a guy who did just that cuz his ranch was going under. Now he is quite well off. And what Remster said has always been unbelievable for me. They say on the bottles that it has been filtered to take out all those nasty minerals but then if you read further they tell you they add minerals to enhance the flavor. I may be getting old but I got to see all the cool bands.

    Aint that the truth. I dived off a 30 foot ledge one time and hit the water with my arms to far behind my head. I came a c-hair from dislocating both shoulders. My friends had to save my ass. I may be getting old but I got to see all the cool bands.

    I had an X once that said to me "I should just shoot you in the head." I left. Some people are just wacked in the head. I didn't doubt her for a second. She eventually was convicted of assault on a friend of mine that disregarded my advice to stay away from the loony tune, and dated her anyway. Thats what you get for letting your little head think for your big head. I may be getting old but I got to see all the cool bands.

    Raindrops are round. They only have a pointy end when someone draws a pic of them. Take a look at an actual photo oa a real raindrop. BUT, they still hurt like hell when you hit them at 120 mph. Ever ridden a motorcycle at 75 in a hail storm? That hurts like hell too. You'll be looking for a place to hide. I may be getting old but I got to see all the cool bands.

    If I were in your shoes, I would like to think that I would go say goodbye. If you don't, you may regret it for the rest of your life. If you do go say goodbye, I do not believe that you would regret that decision. Good luck and I hope you make the right decision for yourself.     You dont take a knife to a gun fight. I personally prefer my stainless steel Smith and Weson 44 cal. with 7 inch ported barrel. I can reach out and touch someone. And if i don't actually hit them I can assure you they won't stick around for me to try again. I may be getting old but I got to see all the cool bands.

    My toggles stow on my risers the same way. I kept ripping out the spandex loops on bottom. My rigger told me not to stow my excess brakelines in them because when I would unstow my toggles that the excess brake line was basically sawing through the spandex loops as I pulled them free. He also told me to pull up then down and out when releasing my toggles to further reduce the wear on the lower keepers. They still wear out and have to be replaced. I also ran into another jumper this weekend that is having the same prob. Both my and his canopies are Triathalon 190's with mini risers. Any extra input on this would be greatly appreciated. It seems as though I have to do this once a yr. I may be getting old but I got to see all the cool bands.

    I've posted about this before but here goes anyway. In my 2nd yr jumping I was smoking in the packing area when a long time jumper said to me that somebody would be awful pissed off at me if I burned a hole in their parachute. I went home that night and smoked my last cigarette. I weighed the good against bad and gave them up. It will be 3 yrs on July 29th. Best damn thing I ever did for myself. My wife quit 6 months later. Now when I see anybody smoking in the packing area, I tell them what Bob told me. I may be getting old but I got to see all the cool bands.

    I have not gotten as many jumps in as I would like but am doing alright. But as of last week my wife and I bought the houses and property that we have rented for 8 yrs. Triple the payment. That may cut me back some but its not going to stop me. I did get a good compliment from the instructor that taught me this weekend. He called me dedicated and said I jump more than anybody he knows that has to drive as far as I do. Thanks Hod. Skydive Montana always make me feel at home. I may be getting old but I got to see all the cool bands.

    You can equalize the pressure in your ears while jumping by using the Valsalva method. Hold your nose and close your mouth and try to blow, Not really hard but with a good pressure. I used to have the same prob and it was very painful. Since I started doing this once or twice under canopy and then again on the ground I've had no problems. Also the longer I've been jumping the less i feel the pressure at all. I may be getting old but I got to see all the cool bands.

I'm a reformed smoker. 3 yrs July 29th. Iv'e saved a shit ton of money for skydiving. I may be getting old but I got to see all the cool bands.

    Pack like a Pro. By Billy Weber. You can find this at www.para-gear.com. $19.99. It helped me alot when I first started packing. You can also get help and pointers from other folks at your DZ. But it seems as everybody has their own tricks. You will have to find what works for you. I may be getting old but I got to see all the cool bands.

    I have to agree about bicycles on the road, They are a pain in the ass, They are in the way and don't follow rules. They should be on the sidewalk not the road. If a bike hit a pedestrian someone will probably get hurt but if a car hits a bicycle someone will probably get killed. It's a no brainer in my opinion. They should have to get a license plate so we can turn them in for infractions. They should also have to pay taxes on them and build their own roads. Not to long ago I pulled up to a intersection with a stoplight. I came to a complete stop at the red light and prceeded to start a right on red turn. At the same time a fuckin bicycle cop came up on my right and ran the red light and proceeded across the intersection. WTF. If I had hit him it would have been my fault cause he was a pedestrian. So if he's a pedestrian, he should be on the fuckin sidewalk. I hate bicycles on the road. OK, there is my rant for the day. I may be getting old but I got to see all the cool bands.

    I had a guy come in and apply for work once. When he seen skydiving pics on the wall he told me that he used to jump in Calif. I asked if he still had a rig and he said no, that he sold it after a couple hundred jumps. When I asked what brand of rig he flew, he couldn't remember. I didn't hire him.
