I went to Hidden Valley Boy Scout camp. I don't think that totem was there back then, luckily. Hopefully, at the very least, the first responders got some merit badges. There have been some freaky accidents here in Central PA in the last few years. A year or so ago a tree fell on a tent and killed a father and son Boy Scout. Please don't feed wild cats. I recently went to court with a neighbor over the diseased wild cats that he and his wife constantly fed. Both of my dogs were bitten when attacked by packs of these damn cats - none of which had any kind of shots. The mother, at least, should probably be trapped and euthanized. The kittens may be salvagable if you get them at the right time. I just read your last speakers corner post. Seems like saying fuck you and arguing isn't exactly the same thing no? You are correct. But I don't take beatings well and call the cops afterwards - I hit back. And honestly, I had seen it said before and it didn't result in a ban as far as I know(but I guess it might have). I figured it wasn't a personal attack - not the same way calling someone a freaking idiot or similar would be; just a stronger was of saying "piss off". The saving rate in the USA is at an all time low, meaning that most people are spending at or near 100% of their income. Therefore they would be taxed on all of their income. Those lucky enough to have enough income to put lots into savings(the rich) would not be charged tax on that portion - making their tax rate lower as a percentage of income. -------------------------- Chuck Norris doesn't do push-ups, he pushes the Earth down.

I simply will not support a system that taxes the middle class on 100% of their inclome while taxing the rich on a much smaller portion. See, the thing is I think the fair tax would HURT the middle class, and the poor to a lesser extent. And the fact is, food and medicine and clothing ARE taxed, and many would get no prebate at all - the middle class mainly. I buy everything that I can on the used market, so the only thing I wouold pay taxes on are food, clothing and medicine. That's just whacked. And who's going to administer the fair tax when you get rid of the IRS? All of the prebates, etc. are going to need administration. If I was goingto get behind any tax reform plan, it would be a flat tax before this fair tax.
