    Firstly, I do NOT advocate it, with the exception of the requirement that negative studies by drug companies meet sunlight or possibly banning "assisted living facilities." Secondly, do you mean that the solution that I stated sounds like something that a socialist country would come up with? Wow. That boggles the mind. I never saw that coming. I NEVER would think that a socialist country would screw over those who do not provide the desirable societal benefit - particularly those that suck tax dollars instead of putting more tax dollars into the government.     Holy cow man, if I didn't know you were a lawyer I would have know it after reading that. Some of the thinking in that rant just boggles the mind. We use aliases, and I think you would need to be able to positively identify someone or call them by name for any kind of libel to come into play.     Never let a phone call make you nervous. You never really know who you are talking to, as caller-ID is worthless(I can make any number I want show on your caller ID.... any number at all.), and if someone was serious they would sned certified mail.     All of the talk of safety stats relative to other activities goes right out the door with you on that first jump. It is very serious business, but it is a rush (at least for a while, I understand). Is it worth it?     I hear that all the time. And yet, I've avoided losing a boatload of money recently. I made about 23% over the last year, so moving it to safety when it seems obvious that a correction is coming is a no-brainer. I mean, did anyone with any sense NOT see this coming?     How about now? I know I'm glad I moved the majority of my money to bonds a few weeks ago. As far as the big picture goes, we are seeing some of the warning signs the preceded the great depression. I don't think it will necessarily head that low, but many investors have forgot that the markets do involve risk.     This isn't 3rd grade "If you do something wrong I punish the whole class" stuff. There is no way that someone along for a robbery is as guilty as a person who willfully killed someone. Also, it sounds like on this particular incident, the dude wasn't even near the scene of the crime. Maybe if he was there, he would have stopped the murder. Sure, the guy is a dirtbag crook, but in a fair and just society you don't execute someone for their buddy's murdering ways. If you are out at a bar and your buddy gets in a drunken brawl, should they charge you with assault?     I order something online just about every week, sometimes a few things per week. I think many online businesses are the modern equivalent to the old Mom & Pop places. I love the online stores that send a nice extra gift with the order and a personally signed note. Heck, I ordered a muzzle brake for my AK and they sent me a very nice Swiss Army Knife for free.     I hate what WalMart does to communities, and how they treat their employees, but I admit, I do shop there sometimes. The thing is, since they came in, everything else shut down, so what else can you do?
