I may be crimminal,but I'm not a bigot. You give me a feeling that you are a bigot. It sounds like you want the little hispanic guy to be convicted of a hate crime for killing a 17 year old helpless little black child(6' 200lb teen). You try to make us believe that if a 17 year old 6 foot tall 200lb white guy was shot by a little 160lb hispanic guy when beating his head on the concrete, that the little hispanic would already be convicted of murder. I do not think race would change the fact that if you are attacked by a larger, stronger, more aggresive person,that you might fear for your safety and even your life,if you are getting your head slammed into the concrete. Sounds like self defense

I've never said racism did not exist. In fact I feel you are an example of racism. Racism is present all over the world along with other forms of discrimination. There are humans from all races that are bigoted for as many reasons as there are people. I do not feel there is enough evidence in this case to make this out to be a race driven hate crime. To label another person a bigot without solid proof is criminal in itself.

Yep! She has shit sandwich on her plate. I also hope she recovers,but without any settlements from lawsuits. She served up her own sandwich and now she has to choke it down on her own. At least she is still alive.

This case reminds me of the duke lacrosse incident that the media and the prosecutor rode into infamy a few years back. Instead of allegations of gang rape upon a poor little innocent black girl by rich white boys,it's allegations of an unprovoked shooting of an innocent black boy by an armed white thug. Except Zimmerman is not white.

Are you trying to convince us that a much larger,stronger,and more aggressive person would not be able to severely injure (even fataly) a much smaller weaker person? You still believe in the tooth ferry don't you?

The point is that forgetting to pull because you are buzy having fun is unacceptable behavior. Forgetting to pull is just stupid. I'm glad most people have AAD's these days.. Forgetting to pull is more stupid than walking into a spinning prop.

Wow! Zimmerman looks even smaller than I thought,when you see him next to the other people in that courtroom. I could see how a 6' 1" 210lb 17 year old athlete could beat his head on the concrete very easily.

*** No doubt they will,after the Feds check up on Ted Nugent. Right,we have freedom of speech,as long as it does not piss the powers that be off. The panthers can make threats because they are an organized militant group with sympathy from the white house on their side. Ted on the other hand is just an eccentric old rock star who is very outspoken.

Stupid is as stupid does Nobody cares how good or smart you were,if you do something stupid they will call you stupid. So stay alert, and pay attention, and try not to do anything stupid. I do not consider myself above average in intelligence by any measure. I have seen people who were considered by many to be very smart and successful,do some really stupid stuff. When a smart person does something stupid are we suppose to say"wow they are so smart for doing that,because they are really a smart person"?

So a stereo typing EMT post,makes Zimmerman a bigot? Did Zimmerman not lead a petition on behalf of black citizens whom he thought were harassed by the police? In this case,the media once again is using the race card to stir things up,along with anything else that can be spun up. They use the same tactics when reporting on skydiving mishaps (both parachutes failed ect,ect,ect). Like the Eagles song Dirty laundry "the bubble headed bleach blonde comes on at five,tell ya bout the plane crash with a gleam in her eye....."

Why is it that so many people are trying to turn this into a race issue? There is no evidence of a race driven hate crime in this case. The media has tried to spin this into a race thing just like the duke lacrosse scandal they rode into the ground. The media had little, if any coverage of the little boy who was lit on fire and told thats what he gets for being white. A white kid being burned by two black teens for being white sure sounds like a hate crime,yet no huge outcry. Just saying.

If someone has a gun unholstered and ready to go,you would be better off zig zagging your way to cover and making some distance between them and yourself,since most hand guns are not as easy as people think to shoot with much accuracy from farther than 25 feet(especially in low light). Now,if the gunman were say arms length away,then going for their gun to disarm them would be a better bet. Most people who know much about guns,would tell you to keep out of arms reach from a threat to prevent being disarmed and shot with your own gun. Saying George approached Trayvon within close range is pure conjecture and really makes little sense for someone carrying a gun. Even trained police have often had a hard time hitting what they shoot at,and have even had their own guns taken and turned against them. I will make a little conjecture myself and say that Trayvon probably did not know George had a gun,since it was most likely concealled and it was at night. Trayvon feeling pissed off may have taken the opportunity to beat some ass. But just like most of the post on this case,it is all conjecture.

*** yes,and late at night,if you were on a cell phone,got out of your truck,approaching me and were 'scary-looking',I might take the opportunity to 'defend myself' by shooting your ass...Quote Hell,if I seen you late at night,I might just shoot your ass for eating more than your fair share of hot dogs.

If a guy is coming after me,and I think he has a gun,I would most definitely not walk up and punch him in the nose. That would be stupid,even more so than bringing a knife to a gun fight.

*** He could have just stayed in his truck Since when is it a crime to get out of a vehicle to make an observation while talking to 911? Since when is it ok to punch someone in the nose and knock them to the ground and sit on their chest because they are out of their vehicle observing you? I've been watched and approached,and questioned by people who are neiborhood watch types when walking late at night. I have always been understanding of their suspicion of me and have never turned and beat the crap out of them. I'm 6' 230lb blonde hair and blue eyes and have been told many times that I am a scary looking guy. Of course my presence late at night would draw attention,just like a 6'2" 200lb guy wearing a hoody would.
