No he forgot to put his leg straps on while suiting up. The suit took the load and held him in only hanging a lot lower than usual. Probably had a hard time reaching his toggles Hook low Flare late

Perry the only reson anyone would asume that it was you that did the birdman without the leg straps is because anytime something happens in deland your involved. You definitely have a high profile for doing things thus the name scaryperry. Also there was a birdman incedent at the 4:20 so maybe you should check your facts before you start pointing fingers and calling people liars. This weekend at our Dz a novice BirdMan jumper exited the plane without his leg straps on. His canopy opened fine and the BirdMan suit successfully held him in place (a little low in the saddle). Extra care should allways be taken to ensure proper training and assembly on these suits. Also your gear check should include proper leg strap placement and chest strap. Even though the suit held in place the jumper is extremely lucky. Hook low Flare late

Maybe the Tom Sanders trip is a little overpriced there is a lot of people out there with connections in america and venezuela that can lead you in the right direction for planning a trip. Right now the political situation in venezuela isnt the nicest either I have friends who live there that want to leave right now. An airline ticket with transfers to conima (might be mispelled) sholdnt run more than $500 then accomodation is very cheap. And transportation to and from angel falls can be found cheaply. Tom sanders knows what he's doing and can plan the trip a lot safer than someone just doing it but the difference in price is amazing. Look around there is a lot of trips going to angel falls every year. Also try finding Raul from Raul Helecopters in venezuella a very nice guy who knows the area welll. Hook low Flare late

Skydive Deland has The home of SkydiveU and a well organized Freefly school (Freedom of Flight) With four instructors two who used to work for olav zipster. They also have a Skyvan (I think perris and chicago and Az have one of these also). The weather in Florida is usually good unless a large group from England arrives.
