I was just looking at the classified section to see what I could get for my canopy. And Its full of people selling Tiny fx's, vx's and Velocitys. Selling point in general: ITS TOO SMALL for me. Or Not experienced enough for it. Doesn't anyone jump something before they spend $2000 on it. And doesn't a 72-90 square foot canopy sound sickly small. I have a 96 velocity and its fast enough and I put 400 jumps on a 111 before I downsized. Its amazing people aren't hurting themselves routinely. Anyway something to think about try something before you buy it and dont jump something because its the smallest you can find without enough experience. What do you think? Does anyone know where I can get a SERVICE manual with a Parts list for a PC-5 I have to order a part to repair my camera but the web site needs you to specify the part# I heard there is a part manual with the service manual but I cant find it. thankyou Ray Ray Small and fast what every girl dreams of!

Theres nothing in my startup folder. I had this problem once before with an old antivirus program I deleted the wrong way and windows tried to run it everytime I started but it wasnt there. Any more ideas? Ray Small and fast what every girl dreams of!

Has anyone had any problems with their pc-5 mine quit working and I cant figure out why. Also where can I get a service manual on the pc-5? If I put a tape in it loads sometimes but most of the time it tells me to eject the tape. Also it works with the door open but if I close it I get an error message I think it has to do with the wires from the camera to the door being bent let me know if you can help. Airspeed? Sorry to say loyalty doesnt help you much looks like their having a bad meet. Oh yeah I hear airspeed is having a great meet just majik is having a better one AGAIN. I also want to learn to land better. A question to the general community: on average, how long did it take to get the hang of landing to where you could land standing up? Its the canopy not you, try a Velocity something small you will land a lot better. How many jumps do you have? 4 No problem you might want to try this 84 your not quite ready for the 79 yet. Oh yeah parody not to be taken seriously. You probably will want to wait until you have 100 jumps like everyone else to try something that small Ray Small and fast what every girl dreams of!

I dont know if its been posted yet but Skydive Deland is having a F the WFFC boogie. During the wffc all jumps in Deland are $12 and any beer is $1 in the restaurant. I dont know what Im gonna spend more on beer or jumps? Hope to see all that can make it. Ray Ray Small and fast what every girl dreams of!

Help My other computer caught a virus and its messed up. It wont even run at all. I installed the HD on my computer as a D: drive and ran a virus scan and cleared up all the viruses but the damage is ireversable. I want to just reinstall Windows Xp on my drive but I cant install it from Ms-Dos and my cd-rom wont auto run to detect and install it. any suggestions? Ray Small and fast what every girl dreams of!

I had my plug go bad on my cameye2 I sent an email to info@skytools.com and they sent me 2 new plugs free. The new plugs were smaller and better made so I dont think they will break soon. But they were real easy to install. Just make sure you do them a wire at a time so you dont loose track of which is which or take a note on where each color goes. So Im just saying if you want to cut your wire you can just unsolder the line and resolder it. It will be a lot cleaner then cutting and taping the wire. You will need a hot glue gun when your done the housing is held together that way. Good Luck Ray Ray Small and fast what every girl dreams of!

Nice helmet. But you might want to do something about all those snag points on it. One rule of a camera helmet if a line can snag on it, IT will. Those quick release still camera brackets are good for catching lines. Ever land on a no wind day an have your canopy drape you. Its hard to get the canopy off in no wind on the ground. Now imagine a line twist in front of your face or a hard opening that swings you up, And especially an unstable reserve opening. These can catch lines on your helmet real easy. Theres still not the perfect helmet but you can try and clean up any snag points. Ray Small and fast what every girl dreams of! -
I fully agree with you about technique is more important. I overlooked the fact that he was toggle turning. This can be very dangerous on a smaller highly wingloaded canopy. Line twists ect. I was just making the point that canopies make a difference. I have 350 more jumps on my stilletto 107 but I get much longer swoops out of my velocity. Also I would like to note that you shouldnt have to modify your brake settings for learning to swoop a new canopy especially on a crossbrace the manufacturers took a long time and spent a lot of r&d finding those settings. If your canopy is diving too much for you maybe you should start your turn a little higher. Ray Ray Small and fast what every girl dreams of!

One thing I have seen begginer swoopers neglecting is learning to land crosswind. It is a very important skill to master. Crosswind landings are a lot different and more difficult to master but if practiced can help you out and with some practice can make for impressive landings. Also in high winds a crosswind landing will allow you a longer swoop as your not hitting the wind head on. Ive seen jimmy T land his canopy in 20 mph winds downwind and carve his canopy back into the wind. But other than that a crosswind landing might be all you can do if you find yourself in the corner and practice at it can save your ass. Ray Ray Small and fast what every girl dreams of!

All I can see is that you have been jumping cheaper not refined canopies. Companies like PD and Icarus spend a fortune on research and development designing the best canopies available. Maybe if you changed to a higher market canopy you might get better results. You can do all the jumps you want and if your canopy wont perform you cant either. How many times do you look at your altimeter during a jump?

Almost 90% of my jumps are video either 4way or tandem. So altimeters dont make for good video so I never look at mine. I am very good at telling what altitude I am at and usually know right when my team is breaking off. If I get wrong I also have 2 pro-dytters. Then I only look at my altimeter to see where around 1000 ft I am under canopy. Ray Ray Small and fast what every girl dreams of! -
I saw the video yesterday. Fast as hell (BUT) they did get a bust that wasnt noticed in the judging im sure the record committy might knock it down to a 41 Ray Small and fast what every girl dreams of!
