spend $200 and have SONY go through it completely. It's worth it. http://www.curtisglennphotography.com

would there be a problem with opening your chute at 12000 feet? It's called a CReW pass, and there is not problem as long as you let the manifest and pilot know what you intend. The only problem you might notice is a slight tingle in your legs from lack of circulation, and it is a bit chilly up there. ENJOY! http://www.curtisglennphotography.com

Sometimes, believe it or not, if you change the firewore ends around, turn off your camera, and then restart it, it might work. I've run into this problem several times while D.L. ing for a DVD. Give it a shot, if it doesn't work, send it in for a fix up! http://www.curtisglennphotography.com

I would suggest showing the equipment that we use, and maybe a short video of things we do in the air. I taught for 10 years, and for the last 7, children and adults of all ages are just facinated about the sport. Be prepared to answer ALL the questions. http://www.curtisglennphotography.com

Well, Hollister is having some fun NEXT weekend with a 6-way speed star competition! Come one come all. PUt your name into a hat, build a team, fly some dives, and eat some food! Sounds like some great fun to me! BTW, I'll be there shooting vids. YAHOO!!!!! http://www.curtisglennphotography.com

My suggestion... Get an edit board, and a deck (like sony, or Panasonic) and edit the videos right there, and hand the student a DVD when they leave. Just a thought. http://www.curtisglennphotography.com

Q: what did the leper say to the hooker? A: You can keep the tip. A priest and a Rabbi were walkin' down the street next to a school...the Priest said to the Rabbi.... "see that boy over there? Let's "F" him! The Rabbi replied..."outta what?" http://www.curtisglennphotography.com

Thanks for the history lesson. For every defeat (pony tail), there is a success- home built "stuff" that works! Enjoyed the story, put a smile on my face. I haven't been able to jump 6 yet. (Too damn expensive), but I did built it so I can double up on 3 for a fuller smoke layout....looks pretty good. I have never seen it as I"m spiraling down and have to concentrate on other things. If and when I get some pics, I'll send some out. http://www.curtisglennphotography.com -

It's called a "candy cane", and it's a lot of fun to fly! Made one for myself as a 21st Century Skydive team member. http://www.curtisglennphotography.com -
It's up to you, however, might I suggest something along the lines of a .3 or a .5 wide angle. Manufacturers are a choice you have to make, but I think you might "see" a bit more with a wide lens. Blue ones. http://www.curtisglennphotography.com

The next time you jump a CRW parachute, take a look at it. The pilot chute rigging is pretty cool. There are grommet across the top skin of 2 or three cells. As the parachute inflates, the bridle is absorbed by the inflating cells and looks like it disappears. The more you learn, the more you find out what you really don't know! Have fun! http://www.curtisglennphotography.com

What do your parents think of your skydiving?
YahooLV replied to andy2's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
After everything I've done in my life, when I told them, all they could some up with was... "So, is there a place for us to watch?" Gotta love my parents. http://www.curtisglennphotography.com -
