    I went big!

That rocks! And you rock. But did you WEAR your dropzone.com t-shirt?!
  2. She did. However, no beer........yet.
  3. then it's a good day to get naked......
  4. I believe it could withstand 2000 degrees for 6 seconds before it starts to melt. And you thought a 60 second skydive was short.
  5. Would you prefer a man that prefers to wear khaki's? In my line of work there's that written and un-written law in regards to the dress-code. Unfortunately, I would be sent home if caught wearing shorts into work; not that I would try. Heck, an unbuttoned collar could be grounds for a "demerit." And I violate that one all the time. In fact, I left my coat in the car, not that i even wear it.
  6. Blue pin-striped suit, heavily starched white button-downed oxford with a red tie. Add a burgundy colored belt and wingtips. I'm also going "commando."
  7. We always hang a transceiver close to the landing area at 'Snore. Just for such times, etc.
  8. Funny thing about re-currency jumps....... Both of them were chicks and one of them hadn't jumped in 5 years! (I'm on my 3rd yr.) Anyway, this jump was her 27th total and she did fantastic! Later that day I did JKA's re-currency. (eat your heart out, dudes)
  9. For the canopy, I don't think size matters.... I jump a Spectre 170 and have not even thought about "beating" the student down. Maybe a spiral or some sashays. After all, they are pulling much higher than me/us. ==================== Hey Ed, You were my Reserve JM on my Level 3 at Skydance in July '99. Neal was on the main side. Mark

so in theory, if yer piece partner is prego, wouldn't that make it a 5 way?
  12. Both the Nationals videos from 2000 and 2001 are pretty good. check omniskore.com for a listing.

Lisa, Just remember who you represent!
  14. Speaking of which, and time permitting. Should we attempt a "bigger way" after the SSL???

Nice to see you too! I was actually smiling and laughing because my student had a "safe" landing in powdered dirt about 6 inches deep! But, really I think she could have had a challenging landing had it been on the hard stuff. Now all the instructors call her Dusty. She did tell me that she prepared to PLF, but the "conditions" weren't cooperating. At least she is unhurt.

    Nationals Poll?

They are all great teams.... but I believe Airspeed will do it again.

Okay, so who's going? Rather, who will be there at oh-beer-thirty?
  18. You know, I think the first jump out of the Van was the coolest... A 6 way base followed by 9 divers. Even thought there were only 13 at any one "momment," I thought it was pretty cool. The Van is great for "big" stuff. BTW, Quade, the Van Exit is a totally cool picture, even though you can only see the right half of me. Can't wait till the next one! Hey, maybe we should do a dz.com jump after the SSL!
  19. Bunny, Nice to see you here again! Shark
  20. Did you have some of Hottamaly's jello shots?
  21. Dude! You get that lil piece 'o Gold yet?? And doesn't Corpus Crispy have their "own" turbines? 'Sinore is only a days drive anyway. Late
  22. That's what is already incorporated into the ISP. We stress CC a lot and I always include it on debriefs. Even students on Cat F-H doing solos could get some feedback from instructors who have watched their canopy descent, landing pattern, and touchdown. Also, students should persue more education in CC as they would with FF.
  23. Uhh, so when you back in SoCal again? BEER! Congratulations!
