We hit some turbulence and I FELL out I swear!!! I saw these 3 other people that fell out at the same time so I figured.....why not dock head down with them..... ....and we just happen to be carrying the American flag when we deployed!

I'd have to take a look at your position when you are on a creeper. My best advice is to talk with your local instructor. That's what they are there for.

Skybytch, You can jump my new 193 for yer ferst few crew jumps if ya want. Mustwrap wants me on a 160, too. Especially if I plan on getting a CCS. I dunno. Should be a lot of FUN. BTW, I've only put 2 jumps on my 193 thus far. I fergot how "weird" they fly.... Ciao, Shark Drive fast, take chance, and fly through dust-devils...

Hi Lori, Haven't logged in since Friday morning at work. And now it's Sunday night, sorry. Elsie's website is being "re-modelded" and didn't really say much about what was going on. John LeBlanc was here since Friday and gave seminars each evening. And there was lotsa beer. The bigway stuff is on 6/22/02. Send Linda an email. I think big derek is organizing it. We're doing base practice on Friday. I'll scan a pic that Ray Cottingham took of the built formation from last months stuff. Shark

Maybe you should rephrase the question to, "what trade-offs have you made in order to skydive." 1. i still have a cracked windshield on my 5 year old car. 2. i have to wear suits to work and haven't bought one in 2.5 years. 3. i don't go out to lunch unless it is paid for by someone trying to sell me something. 4. i iron my own shirts and forego dry cleaning. 5. i still have a Pentium 3/450 and my laptop is a P1/133. 6. dsl? has a different meaning to me. i use dial-up aol except when i'm at work. 7. all my casual clothes say "Skydive Elsinore" on them 8. i only pay the minimum due on my credit cards 9. and i'm homeless

Well, we got the "Bridge the Gap" goin on for the low-timers. John LeBlanc will also give some seminars. (I'll try not to get too smashed before listening.) Then got some Big Ways next weekend. Next month is CReW month at Perris for me!!
