darnknit replied to waltappel's topic in The Bonfire

yea, yea ,yea, but what about the $17.00 you overcharged me on shipping for my last order? why wont you address that issue? what are you hiding? is ParaGear funding terrorists? that would explain why you are over charging me for equipment, and yet refusing to reveal your identity to this wholesome young lad(jdthomas). you make me sick i still have a crush on you pulling is cool. keep it in the skin

i'm glad you agree that is no way to treat a $1,500 customer(although i don't think it was a STOOPID assumption on my part), and i also want to thank you for pointing out to us that this new dz will do great and we should all support the dzo's like you said we should. now if we could just straighten out this $17.00 overcharge on my last shipment everything would be perfect! i still have a crush on you! pulling is cool. keep it in the skin

your spelling seems to improve when you get excited. where are you from? fair enough, maybe it was made up by a disgruntled landowner you are right! all will jump on YOUR BANDWAGON PARAGEAR, SUPPORT THE NEW DZ! i know i speak for every poster in this thread when i say "thank you, and god bless you, for setting us straight" thankfully, paragear was hear to explain to us we should not bash the dzo's, we should embrace skydiving and the joy than can be brought forth from it. blue stuff, p.j. p.s.ParaGear, call me, i think i have a crush on you pulling is cool. keep it in the skin

man, do i ever know what you are talking about paragear. i was in an identical situation once(although not skydiving related, it had more to do with my penmanship). all these people kept telling me, "why don't you talk to the person directly involved?" what a bunch of morons, i just kept screaming there was, "NOTHING WRONG WITH MY PENMANSHIP!!!" eventually people stopped asking me to speak to the person directly involved. stick to your guns pragagear, you r fitng a nobl fite. pulling is cool. keep it in the skin

in order the differences would be:in France you will be paid in euros, in the U.K. you will be paid in pounds, in the U.S.A. you will be paid in u.s. dollars. but here is the important part, no matter what country you are in, a hooker will accept u.s. dollars! i hope that helps. blue stuff, p.j. pulling is cool. keep it in the skin

can you guys start a high altitude deployment thread so that i can hijack it to find out if there are any incidents directly attributed to safety stow design? pulling is cool. keep it in the skin

i'll agree with that. here is my personal opinion, that experiment shows a snagpoint that can easily be removed with a minor change in design. it is also my opinion that the particular snagpoint is potentially lethal. not likely, but definitely possible. pulling is cool. keep it in the skin

thanks PHREE, i had found those incidents as well, i was trying to find incidents that were directly caused by safety stow design flaws. pulling is cool. keep it in the skin

does anyone know of a specific incident where a fatality occurred that was directly attributed to either bag lock or bag strip on a reserve equipped with a safety stow freebag? someone i know has alluded to this, others i know think it is a lie. i have just searched my memory, dz.com incidents forum, and a skydiving fatalities web page, but i can't find a single incident directly attributed to the safety stow design. can anybody help me find these incidents? here is what i was given to work with: if anyone could help me find dates, locations, and gear related details of these incidents, it would be helpful. blue stuff, p.j. pulling is cool. keep it in the skin

being honest with people you deal with is almost as important as being compassianate. honesty without compassion is brutality. blue stuff, p.j. pulling is cool. keep it in the skin

o.k. somebody already did p.j., but here is one that i found for paul: Paul was arrested for his association with a Gentile. They accused him of bringing him into the temple--that is, of allowing him to mingle with the Jews in ... a dead hooker story would have been funnier, but i guess guys named paul don't get caught with dead hookers. blue stuff, p.j. pulling is cool. keep it in the skin

it's something i can't do with a bag equipped with a safety stow. pulling is cool. keep it in the skin

i was. i had placed seventy-five pounds of weight on a speedbag, and after peeling all but the last two stows, none of which were holding lines, the bag remained locked. i talked to the manufacturer and their response was that a freebag does not remain static during deployment. i agree with them. if i could only be sure of what direction the bag would move, none of this would be an issue. when i get in writing from the manufacturer that bag jostle will prevent a bag lock on a speedbag, i will pack a speedbag, but not before. i guess this thread has changed some opinions, i used to say the speedbag didn't offer any advantages. now i would have to say it offers at least one disadvantage. your mileage may vary. blue stuff, p.j. pulling is cool. keep it in the skin

i agree, YOU really should do something about that. pulling is cool. keep it in the skin -
i would have many things to mention, but let's just talk about the coolest. yesterday, the DZ was weathered out, so when my fiancee came home from brunch with her aunt(they had said they had looked at some rings). i told her i had the rest of the day off, let's go ring shopping. we found a ring that, even as a "wood choppin', sports watching guy" i would have to say was, "pretty". she wanted it, i said i'll take it(it was affordable, it was something she liked), and all of a sudden i am the coolest guy in the universe. i was just doing what came natural. i just never thought anyone would appreciate me just being me as much as she has. this is way better than chemotherapy, p.j. so tell me your story. pulling is cool. keep it in the skin
