  1. Heartless 911 dispatcher, sabotaging what could have been true love. Emergency, shmergency. If any of those other calls are important, they'll call back, right? Matt
  2. Sorry, never met anyone who actually had one of these dogs. Sounds like a good idea, though. Matt
  3. Actually, I was very surprised by how much I enjoyed the movie. Laughed several times. The sappy ending was very predictable, but what do you expect from a comedy, right? Two thumbs up. Matt
  4. "Yeah, show him that thing you did last year when Pamela Anderson was here.... Hey, not so aggressive!" Matt
  5. Cool. Lots of positive replys and no negatives. I feel better about this. I'll let y'all know what I think.
  6. I felt obligated to let everyone know that her 6969th post was...(drumroll)... A little anticlimactic, I guess. Matt
  7. Umm...think you might have the wrong thread here, Stitch. Clay hasn't posted in this one. Matt
  8. There should be an option for kinda average sized and sorta strong, with a little bit of gut, but not too much. 'Cause that's what a lot of us have got. Matt
  9. Netflix just sent me The Ringer, recent movie about a man who masquerades as an athlete competing in the Special Olympics. Stars Johnny Knoxville, the Jackass guy. I've got two mentally handicapped brothers and have spent my share of time helping out at Special Olympics events. I admit that at times I'm a little thin-skinned when those who should know better mock "special" people. During my time in public school, the only fights I ever enthusiastically participated in were started by people talking trash about my brothers; I never cared what anybody said about me. The only reason I decided to rent this movie is I learned the Special Olympics leadership actually was involved in the production and endorses the film! Supposedly there is neither cruelty nor mockery here. This is hard to believe. So before I watch it, I'm just wondering if anybody else has seen it, and what did you think? Going in with such a prejudice, is there any chance that it'll pleasantly surprise me? Or am I just going to be pissed off again? Matt
  10. Wile E. Coyote, Super Genius, was so smart he never needed any official schooling. Let us not forget that Coyote perfected a wingsuit that was so efficient, he maintained altitude using only the thrust from flapping his scrawny arms. And that unicycle helmet on the tightrope was working for a few seconds; he just needed a few more practice runs to work the bugs out. Matt
  11. Somebody posted a link to some anime chick who was dancing and waving huge boobies not too long ago, and I think she was singing the same song. Matt
  12. Granted, I know nothing about practicing law, but I can't imagine saying to one of my customers,"Nope, I have no experience troubleshooting a system like yours and I've never even heard of this type of airplane. But I am smart and stubborn, so I'm confident everything will work out ok." Matt
  13. [pedant] The internationally recognized "boundary" of space is an altitude of 100 km, about 62 miles. If he does it, many records will be set but it won't be a "space" jump. [/pedant] Matt
  14. Mellow Yellow is unfortunately still available, masquerading as an alternative for the true nectar of the gods, Mountain Dew. I will not be fooled! Dew is Dew. Yellow...isn't. Matt
  15. Ok, I'm finding it just a little bit creepy that in less than twelve hours we've had two separate threads started asking for peoples' blood types. This just doesn't strike me as normal behavior for some reason. Matt
  16. I always had those problems when working normal peoples' 9-5 hours. Mornings and I just can't work out our differences. 2nd shift all the way.

    1 pussy or 2??

Certainly looks like one. Two? Matt
  18. Just looked at your website and cruised through the pictures of Karma. Will it put my guy card at risk to say I never get tired of looking at good pictures of cute puppies?
  19. Ex-girlfriends. Who else would be in there? Matt
  20. Hey, at least that guy's got most of the meat still on the finger. In A&P school we were shown much worse pictures to drive the point home. It freaks me out that some of my coworkers still wear rings. I don't understand why they do it. Matt

I'm glad the report said the kitten is feeding. Don't recall ever seeing pictures of a similar malformity. I just wonder, with a skull that unusual, if the kitten's brain will have room to develop normally. I hope so. Matt

Yeah, puppies' teeth itch so they love chewing. The last puppy I dealt with was a neurotic little shelty that my parents rescued from the pound when he couldn't have been more than 2 or 3 months old. That pup completely destroyed a rawhide chewtoy that was almost as big as he was the first week they had him. Matt
