    ya know, i told myself I wouldn't post here again... but this thread is just too good to pass up... i recently sold my rig and most of my gear so that i could give my family the best christmas ever. i bought my wife and oldest daughter a pair of horses and i bought my son a minibike (honda crf 50). the looks on their faces were incredible. the littler tikes got good gifts too... while the christmas gifts were certainly great for them, giving them was very good for me. i've always done things for me, always had my toys, my time, my hobbies. i still have them, but it's been really important for me to give something to the family, to learn some semblence of selflessness. it's been amazing. i'll never forget the joy of this christmas.     i don't know... it happens so rarely... but when it does, i just drink and drink and drink... but now i seem to stop before i get sick or pass out. didn't used to be that way. this calender year i've been blotto maybe 3 times... twice during my weekend at The Farm and then on the tequila last week. each time it was with dear friends i hadn't seen in a long time or w/ people i knew well on here and met for the first time. also in each case it was a time, in a fairly controlled environment, away from my kids where i could really let loose. i can't do that all that often.
