    Cops do more wrong than just killing people. Beating people, denying them their rights, abusing their authority, lying on the witness stand, running criminal enterprises, and treating people differently because of race, gender, national origin, or disability are also wrong.     This issue can be bigger than race. Citizens, regardless of color, are being shot regularly by the police. It Ferguson, there was uinderlying racial tension, too, but then the police made it worse by trying to brush the shooting under the rug. It was only partly about black and white.     I haven't done the research to back this up, but I'd be willing to bet that the average Fox viewer is an older person. Younger people are getting their news (and everything else) from newer technologies than broadcast news. Older people also tend to be more conservative. So as young people abandon broadcast news in general, a larger portion of news watching people are older and tend toward the right, naturally gravitating toward Fox. - Dan G

    My proudest moment in Italy was when a local hustler, trying to hustle another American at the train station, briefly mistook me for an Italian.
