I'm open to learning something new. Please share. - Dan G

Well, everybody who lifted a finger in the fight against him thinks it was a fucking great job. So what, you think there should be a statute of limitations for thousands of murders both in the US and around the world? Do you think we should pursure any criminals at all. What the fuck? No they haven't, stop making things up. I'm sure you could have done a much better job. You have no idea what you're talking about. To everyone who's up on their bullshit high horse about how people shouldn't celebrate, and we should have gotten him earlier, and you don't believe he's really dead, I have just one thing to say. From the bottom of my heart: FUCK YOU. - Dan G

Although I agree with you factually, that argument is begging the question. - Dan G

Have you considered the possibility that the phrase, "I can't translate your gibberish into English," is not actually a PA? If the words in question are, in fact, gibberish, then what's wrong with saying that? Go read rushmc's post (if he hasn't edited it) and tell me that it contains a sensible thought. It's essentially gibberish, but any logical reading would lead one to believe the intent was to insult. The fact that quade didn't call it a PA just means he doesn't think it rises to the level of a PA. Not everyone whines about PAs everytime someone else is a big meany. - Dan G
-
Wait, here's the timeline: 1. rushmc writes a sentence that is incomprehensible, but at least on its face seems to be an insult to quade. 2. quade responds by saying he can't understand rushmc's gibberish 3. You imply that quade's post is a PA What about rushmc's post? Are you concerned that his post was a PA? Could it be that you only cry PA when it's from someone you don't like? Playing the ball is the goal, but when you truly can't understand what someone is trying to say (which happens often with rushmc's no punctuation style) there's no ball to play. - Dan G

C'mon Kennedy, you're usually one of the more reliably honest posters here. You should at least acknowledge that the article continues to say that the BP vehemently denies Dever's claims, and the Sherrif in the next county over hasn't heard anything similar to what Dever's is saying. The whole article is based on the claim of one elected sherrif, and isn't corroborated by anything or anyone. - Dan G

She wasn't talking red vs. blue either. The majority of welfare in the US goes to white, rural people, not the inner city black boogeymen. - Dan G

Using your logic, the faith of the 9-11 hijackers (and myriad other Muslim death-by-suicide actors) must have been even stronger than that of the Apostles. Modern day Muslims didn't witness any miracles or have personal contact with Mohammed, but were still willing to die for their beliefs. If you're going to continue with your logic, their williness to give their lives is even stronger evidence for the truth of the Koran than anything endured by the Apostles. Please note, I don't believe in either the Bible or the Koran. I also don't believe that the matryrdom of the Apostles can be used as evidence for anything they claimed to have witnessed. - Dan G

How is that different? - Dan G

Saw it this weekend. I don't remember anything funny in it at all. I guess giggling during group might have been funny, but that's about it. It was okay. - Dan G

Hmm, still haven't read your link yet, huh? - Dan G

If the point was that either side will always blame the other, even if they had nothing to do with it, then I got it. However, I suspect Marc's point was that Democrats are weasly, flip-flopping liars and will say anything to make themselves look good. I only agree with that point if you change the word "Democrats" to "politicians". Is there some other, more sublime point that you could educate me about? - Dan G
-
You really should read the links you post. Most of the first page results on your Google search are "Bush Blames Democrats for High Gas Prices" or similar. What was your point again? - Dan G

Holy cow, I agree with something RonD1120 wrote. End times are nigh. - Dan G

Wow. I'm surprized you feel that way. I think it's not okay for anyone to help Al Qaeda. - Dan G

You have insisted numerous times, for instance in the Alcohol Detectors in Cars thread, that the principle of innocent until proven guilty is sacrosanct. Unfortunately, that principle applies to everyone, even accused armed robbers. - Dan G

It doesn't change anything. You're just as full of it as always. - Dan G

Fascinating. Where did you read that? Maybe you should read this: http://www.google.com/hostednews/afp/article/ALeqM5ji9xb3vW6c9MpNTjsTELu7GMHI8g?docId=CNG.a75eb18b88e9d2bd744da1f674e29b55.b1 - Dan G

I can only assume you put a question mark there because you are asking a question. No, the action in Libya has not cost anywhere near tens of billions of dollars. Last I heard, the total cost was something like 0.7 billion. - Dan G

Then why do you assume that workers can't do the same thing? Why, in your worldview, does labor have to be traded at a fair market value, but goods and services can be traded above the fair market value? Your position is not self-consistent. ETA: Jakee beat me to the punch. He now owes me the fair market value of the time it took to write this post. I value that time at $1million, and will not be claiming it on my taxes next year. - Dan G

You can get both toggles in one hand (which is actually harder than it sounds), and steer by moving that hand across your body. It can be a little confusing at first, because you have to move your hand to the left to turn right, and vice versa. You may also find yourself uneven in the harness because your are reaching across with one hand. Flaring is done down the centerline, and will likely result in a less than full flare. It can take a good amount of strength, too. Why do you ask? - Dan G

Huh? Again in English, please. I really have no idea what you are saying, but I'll take a stab. You think that the Judicial Branch is changed with enforcing laws. Every grade school student knows that the Executive Branch is charged with enforcing laws, and the Judicial is charged with interpreting them. Somehow, and this is where it gets confusing, your ignorance of the basic principles of government in the United States would be improved if I open a civics textbook. - Dan G
